Eve Sherman didn't understand why Rory Shaw was acting crazy here, but she didn't want Stellan Sutton to know that she was with the Shaws, nor did she want the Shaws to know that she was Stellan Sutton's special assistant.
She felt a bit agitated, unsure of what to do.
"Eve Sherman, tell me, is everything I said true? Not a single lie, right?"
Rory Shaw noticed Eve Sherman's unpleasant expression, knowing she had hit a sore spot for her, and couldn't help but feel a bit smug, looking at her arrogantly with her head tilted.
Eve Sherman instinctively looked at Stellan Sutton, pursed her lips, and said nothing.
Stellan Sutton glanced back at her and then said, "Sherman, wait for me in the car."
Eve Sherman felt a bit uneasy, instinctively wanting to refuse, but then realized this was Stellan Sutton's command, so she took a deep breath and turned to get in the car.
