It was rare; he didn't manage to get up on time.
Eve Sherman looked at him with some concern, "President Sutton, are you feeling unwell? Why do you look so pale?"
Stellan Sutton shook his head, "I just had some insomnia last night, just wait for me a bit."
"Alright, take your time. The schedule isn't too tight this morning. Some of the candidates you selected for support will come for a personal interview with you at the company today."
Stellan Sutton nodded without saying a word and turned back to the room to take a shower.
Downstairs, Eve Sherman paced back and forth, feeling on edge. When she turned her head, she met the eyes of some servants whispering among themselves.
They saw her but didn't bother to stop, instead looked at her provocatively.
Eve Sherman didn't want to start a conflict with Stellan Sutton's servants; it wasn't her place as an assistant, so she turned around, avoiding looking at them.
Unexpectedly, her silence only made them dislike her more.
