Chapter 2 - chapter 2

Where am I? the boy wondered. He remembered that he had died not long ago, and when he opened his eyes again, he was somewhere else.A different place. Tyrion's body filled with fear for a few moments, but it soon stopped after recalling the reason. He realized that at least he was in a wealthy place. That seemed very good. He thought he might belong to a rich family and have more money than he ever had before. The ceiling where he was was beautiful, with a golden, clean color. The whole place was spotless. The room was incredible; he had never been anywhere like this before. This calmed Tyrion a little. He felt relieved knowing he was not poor in his new life. It would be terrible to be born as a poor common boy in a medieval society. The place looked beautiful but medieval—a classic society without any kind of technology.Tyrion moved his head with some difficulty. His body seemed smaller… or rather, everything seemed big to him. It was scary, to be honest. When he turned his head, Tyrion saw the bedroom window. It was open.It was daytime; the sun and wind entered through the window, lighting the room. The breeze was refreshing and soothing to his soul.Tyrion did not know it yet, but he was in Casterly Rock—the ancestral fortress of House Lannister.Carved inside and upon a gigantic mountain of pale stone.Full of tunnels, halls, gold mines, and secret chambers.Located on a huge cliff on the west coast of Westeros, facing the sea.Tyrion was deep in thought, wondering about his new life and how he should behave. But he still hadn't realized who he was and who he had become. He was so focused that he did not notice the decorations and sigils scattered around the room.Inside this room was an ornate family crest.Tyrion didn't even recognize it.It was a golden lion on a red background. Then Tyrion heard footsteps—light, not heavy adult steps. Two boys hurried after a girl. That girl was his sister. There was also a boy following them. His name was Oberyn Martell. They were walking quickly through the luxurious halls of Casterly Rock. The girl was slightly taller than them. She was blonde, fair-skinned, beautiful. One of the boys was also blonde and fair-skinned, very much alike, after all—they were twins. Their father even sometimes had trouble telling them apart. The other boy following the siblings had olive/bronze skin and straight black hair. He was the prince of Dorne, although maybe not yet, since he was still a child and unable to rule. The heir of Dorne wanted to see the monster everyone talked about—at least, that's what people said in Casterly Rock. About the monster born into Tywin Lannister's family, the family's disgrace."Head twice the size of the body, tail between the legs, claws, red eyes, with both male and female genitals," Oberyn remembered them saying about the monster. Oberyn had wanted to see this monster for a long time. After arriving at Casterly Rock, he asked Cersei to show him. Every day he asked to see the monster, and Cersei always replied, "Soon."Until one day she agreed. Cersei was taking Jaime and Oberyn to the creature's room."Don't make noise, we shouldn't be here at this hour," Cersei warned.Oberyn just nodded and followed them. After walking through the halls of Casterly Rock, they arrived at Tyrion's room.Oberyn entered and saw Tyrion wrapped in clean, warm cloth.Tyrion was looking at them. His eyes were strange—each a different color: one green, the other black.Oberyn approached and looked closely at the "monster."His head was a bit large; his arms and legs were somewhat small, but no claws, no red eyes.Oberyn was disappointed; he expected to see a monster. He didn't hide his disappointment and said to Cersei, showing clear displeasure:"He's not a monster, he's just a baby," Oberyn said.Cersei overheard and replied with anger on her face:"He killed my mother." She glared at the disgusting "thing" that had killed her mother. She removed the cloth covering Tyrion's body and started pinching his penis.Tyrion began to cry and shake his little arms; he started whining from the pain.Oberyn saw what Cersei was doing and thought, "She will tear his penis off if she keeps this up."The boy kept crying, but Cersei showed no sign of stopping. That's when Cersei's brother made her stop."Stop, Cersei, you're hurting him. He could die," Jaime said."It doesn't matter, he will die soon. And I hope they're right. He shouldn't have lived this long," Cersei said.Cersei looked at the "thing" again and then grabbed him.She held him with both hands and lifted him up."What are you going to do, Cersei?" Jaime asked, worried about his brother."What is this crazy girl going to do now?" Tyrion wondered. He had been conscious the whole time.He was humiliated. How dare this girl do this to him? That thought ran through his mind. It hurt to have his penis twisted and pinched, but he had felt worse pains before. What he felt most was shame. And one day, he would make sure to get revenge.Cersei held Tyrion and walked toward the window, Tyrion in her hands."Cersei, let's go. Leave him there, Father is waiting to fight with us.""I'm coming…" Cersei answered. She approached the window and looked at the little thing in her hands, still crying. She felt strangely happy to see him cry and smiled. But it wasn't enough—Cersei wanted more. She stretched out her hands holding Tyrion and placed him outside the window. She held him outside the window, threatening to drop him. They were at the top of Casterly Rock, chambers very high up. Not even an adult could survive a fall from there. The chambers overlooked the sea.The little thing began crying again, which filled Cersei with joy. Then her brother shouted at her in a way cersei had never seen before:"Cersei, STOP THIS NOW!" Jaime shouted.Cersei felt many things, but most of all fear. Her brother seemed to care about her, but he seemed to care even more about the "thing.""Calm down; no need to shout. I wasn't going to drop the thing," Cersei said, placing the "thing" back on the bed."Let's go," Cersei said. She left Tyrion naked on the bed and went out. Oberyn followed her, wanting to get out of that mess as fast as possible. The cold air from the sea entered through the window and filled Tyrion's body with cold.Jaime stayed behind and saw his brother suffering. He took the cloth and wrapped Tyrion again, then left.Only one thought passed through Tyrion's mind:Thank you, Jaime. And damn you, Cersei.
