Chapter 34 - The Broken Heart Of The Ruthless One Chapter 34 : The Clash Of The Blades

Chapter 34 : The Clash of the Blades

The battle between Yuzurei and Eisuke raged on — blow for blow, perfectly matched.

The shallow water splashed wildly around their feet as every strike sent ripples through the glowing blue mist.

Eisuke leapt into the air, blades flashing under the pale moonlight.

Eisuke: "Is that all you've got?"

His tone was calm, almost bored, as he parried Yuzurei's fierce strikes.

Yuzurei's grin widened.

Yuzurei: "This is nothing compared to my training!"

Both warriors clashed midair — Yuzurei spinning and switching his four katanas seamlessly, while Eisuke's four chained blades intercepted each strike with precise timing.

Eisuke: "Then show me your true power."

They collided again, sparks flying across the misty arena. The shockwaves tore through the water and shattered nearby glass towers. Neither could land a decisive blow — their speed and instincts were equal.

Eisuke: "You're slow."

In a blink, Eisuke vanished and reappeared behind Yuzurei, plunging one blade deep near his heart.

Yuzurei's eyes widened, blood dripping from his mouth — yet his grin only grew.

Yuzurei: "Is that all you can do?"

He leapt upward again despite the wound, spinning through the air with relentless energy. His movements were wild but controlled — pure chaos in harmony.

Eisuke: "Impressive… your durability."

Yuzurei ignored the pain. His white hoodie was torn, chest soaked in blood, yet his speed didn't falter for even a second.

Yuzurei: "I'm disappointed! Come on—show me more!"

He slashed again, his spinning blades slicing through the air. One cut grazed Eisuke's chest, tearing his white suit and staining his shirt with blood. The fight grew faster — a blur of blades, sparks, and blood under the blue moon.

Eisuke retaliated with a powerful swing — his blades struck Yuzurei square in the chest.

The impact sent Yuzurei crashing through a nearby building, debris and water bursting into the air.

Inside the rubble, Yuzurei coughed up blood, ribs shattered, but his hands still clutched two of his katanas. The other two lay scattered across the broken floor.

Eisuke, standing tall in the moonlight, finally took a slow, heavy breath.
