"You obtained your own spell?"
In the captain's cabin, the main crew members looked at Ed with surprise and envy. Of course, Elena was the exception, she already possessed her own spell.
Seeing their envious gazes, Ed nodded with a smug air, pretending to be utterly genuine as he basked in their admiration. Only when he felt satisfied did he wave a hand and say shamelessly, "Don't be so envious yet. Once you know what my spell is, you probably won't envy me anymore."
"What kind of spell is it?" Jason couldn't help but ask. The look on Ed's face was too much to bear; he needed an immediate counter, or he might not sleep tonight.
Hearing this, Ed immediately raised his palm. A faint surge of magic flowed out. This time, it took only five seconds to guide it.
Runes appeared in his mind, and a palm-sized round mirror floated above his hand.
Everyone looked at the two-way mirror in his palm, then turned back to stare at Ed.
"And then?" Elena asked curiously.
