Iza's POV
I stood outside my room balcony as I waited for Sophia to come. I heard a knock come through my room door as it opened and slammed in the space of a second.
"My Luna, you called for me." She said this, bowing her head.
"Yes, what were you doing?" I asked as I backed her.
"Preparing your dinner." She responded, still bowing her head.
"Allow someone else to do that," I said as I faced her. "You see, lately the Alpha and I haven't been on good terms, and I know you're aware of that." I faked a sob.
"No, Luna, please don't do that," she said, trying to hold me as I raised my hands in the air, stopping her.
"I'm fine; I'll be fine. All I need is for her to let me wolf out and allow her to take control for some time. I can't go into the woods myself, so I'll be needing company." I told her.
"I'll really love to go with you; I mean, it's my duty," she said, facing the floor. "But I'm just a weak wolf; I can't protect or keep you company, my Luna."
I lingered my gaze on her as I scoffed slightly. "And did I tell you, I'm not aware of that? We'll leave at nightfall, probably midnight." I announced as I moved my gaze to the streets.
"Nightfall?" She repeated, exclaiming.
"Have you gone deaf? Or perhaps I had food in my mouth when speaking? Which of them, huh?"
"I apologize for my foolishness," she bowed and was about to make her way out.
"Hold on!" I stopped her. "I'll appreciate it if you keep this between us."
"Yes, my Luna." She replied and left.
Tired of feeding my eyes with the beauty of nature, I walked out of my room and into Alfred's room.
I met him coming out of his bathroom; he had a towel tied around his waist and his chest bare.
"Didn't you have the decency to knock?" He blurted out.
"Knock? We're supposed to share a room, remember?" I scoffed, taking steps towards him.
"Oh, please, I love my privacy, and I think you do too," he said as he applied ointment to his skin.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" I asked, doubting my thoughts.
"I believe you know what I'm talking about, but if you don't, then no problem. How's it going with the omega's?" He asked, diverting the subject.
I let out a deep sigh of relief that he did, but at the at the same time, I was eager to know what he meant.
"Have you suddenly gotten deaf? He voiced out, leaving his gaze on me.
"Oh, that. I've gotten one ready. We'll go riding tonight; I was able to blackmail her." i responded.
"Wow! He exclaimed as she smiled at me, placing his ointment. "That's so fast; I wasn't expecting it to be this quick."
"Yeah, we are kind of close, so it wasn't so difficult." I explained.
"Close? Do you have a relationship with an Omega? That's so thoughtful of you, and one of the few right things I've seen you do."
"She's my personal maid." I bluntly replied.
"Your what? Iza, don't you think you'll miss her services or something? She should be like a friend to me."
"Oh, please, don't preach to me like your saint here; don't forget, this is all your idea, and I'm just helping you out, and with this statement you just made now, I think I'm having a rethink." I snapped my fingers.
"No, darling, I didn't mean that," he said as he pulled my waist. "I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't regret it later on."
"I'm not regretting anything; she's just a worthless Omega. If I can make all that happen to Aurora, how much of a common maid!"
**
It was sunset, and everywhere had gotten dark. I was dressed in a white linen gown and wore a vail over my head.
I sat on the bed as I waited for Sophia; already, Alfred was in the forest waiting for our arrival since I couldn't chop off her head myself.
A knock came through my door as I smiled within myself. "Come in." I said it loudly.
She walked into my room dressed in a long garment.
"Good, I like that," I said, referring to the dress. "We should leave; my wolf is whining already." I paused. "Oh dear, I understand you haven't experienced such feelings, but not to worry; you might in your next life." I smirked as I opened the door and walked out while she followed.
We made our way out of the pack unnoticed, as Alpha had that settled. After walking a few meters from the back boundary, I transformed into my wolf form as I lifted her and ran into the forest.
My eyes were glowed as I had the ability to see in the dark. I moved my gaze around. I was in search of where Alfred had asked me to stop.
I paused as I recognized the iroko tree; he had asked me to stop as I transformed back into my human form.
"Wow, Luna, that was so good. I've never felt such a way; thank you." She smiled as I smiled back.
"Oh, darling, this is just the beginning; you have lots of new things to experience today."
"Alpha?" She was startled upon seeing him.
"Hey baby," I said to him while he gave me a signal.
"Don't be scared, Sofia; I know I didn't tell you about his coming, but that shouldn't bother you," I said, smiling at her.
I succeeded in moving her gaze towards her while Alfred walked close to her silently from behind.
