Chapter 1 - Copy World System

Platform 9¾, King's Cross Station :

A woman is lovingly embracing her son while patting his head ignoring the grumbling expression her son had. She then asks him," you didn't forget anything right? Your pocket watch, books, snacks and treats ", he just nodded and said," i didn't forget anything mom. Don't worry, I'm not a child anymore. I'm now a student of Hogwarts ".

A flick on his forehead answered his grumbles. His mother put on a stern look and said," behave well in Hogwarts. Don't you dare pull some tricks when you're there. I'll writing to Professor McGonagall once every week to know how you're doing. Study well. Don't become mischievous kid or else I'll give you a beating. Eat well, sleep on time, make good friends. Save your pocket money ".

After like more than dozens of instructions she let him go. The son entered the train as the last announcement to leave also appeared. He sat in the empty cabin waving to his parents as the train started moving. With a sigh, he asked," system, show me the projections drawn for this week ".

The boy sighed. His name is Damian Vane, he is a child from a complete wizard family but not from pureblood or anything. His family only started wizarding line since the last three generations. His great grandfather is the muggleborn wizard. Then he married another muggleborn witch and had their grandfather who continued the line.

They're a well earned family. Maybe somewhat rich, although not as a purelood family, they got enough to not care about money. His father had some business stores in the herb and potion industry across Europe and few in America thanks to his grandfather. His mother works as deputy head of sales department in sparkly, a magic cosmetic company.

He is raised in a life of good and cozy environment. He never lacked anything as he is the only child of the family and they gave him things he asked except a wand. A year ago his system awakened and gave him the copy World. A copy of the main world at this time. He can battle and explore in the copy World to receive rewards.

To allow the copy of a place to be there in the copy World, he needs to visit that place. In the last year, he can only settle with Godric Hollow and Diagon Alley. But the wizards at that time there are too much for him. So he tried taking out few and got blasted instead inside the Copy World.

Yep. they're beyond what he can take on at this moment, so he used them as practice instead, dodging their spells and trying to counter attack.

But it seems just knowing the spell and trying to use it with his parents wands that he sneakily snatched won't work. He tried many times to use those spells, but the results are minimal and reduced. When he quietly researched about this, he found he needed master and control over his magic to get the intended effect of spells with just his imagination.

So he started training, how, simple. He tried using levitation spells with bare magic as possible and without his wand. It's a nightmare at first but soon his progress increased. Then he tried holding egg in air without crushing it with force. Firing bolts from his hands to hit moving targets that he throws into air.

The egg exercise is the most difficult of all. He needs to watch out not only for his magic input but also the pressure on everywhere on the egg. As a result he broke many of eggs for this. His mother complained more than once that the amount of egg consumption and bill increased thrice compared to before.

But as she don't know his exercise she didn't blame him. Damian worked secretly afterall, he did it after many weeks of training. Wandless casting although it's only level one, he did it nonetheless. Moreover his control over mana increased by several levels and the consumption decreased significantly on the spells compared to before.

He also had easy time doing spells, although combat spells still aren't easy to use. Especially considering his amount of mana and age. He can barely do those spells before exhaustion hits him. He didn't overexert himself, because this is the golden age for his mana growth. So he didn't want to damage his mana core yet. When he feels a little fatigue he will stop immediately as it's the sign of running low on mana in his body.
