Watson's POV
Being Ryan's gardener is one of the best decisions I ever made. He might be rough around the edges and seem mean but he has a kind heart.
"Papa, why haven't you gone to the estate this morning?" My only daughter, Mira, asked on the dining table, while eating breakfast.
I looked out of the window and heaved a sigh. She wouldn't understand that Ryan and Elena were almost killed and we were told to take a short break before they got back.
"Well, the boss and his wife travelled so Papa will spend the rest of the week at home with you." I lied with a smile.
"Yay, I got Papa for the whole day." She smiled and came for a hug and kissed my cheek.
"Yes, baby. So tell me, what are you up to today?"
"I want to go and play with Missy by the river."
We lived on the outskirts of town. I bought us a house after the death of Mira's mom, immediately after her death. I also got her a German shepherd dog, Missy who is rather protective of her.
