Mirabel unknownly fell inlove with her father and they were already planning a wedding before they found out.
Mirabel is a graduate of the University of Jos. She came to Enugu in search of a Job. Her bestfriend from school Esther told her there was a vacancy in an organization in Enugu that would pay well, she travelled all the way from Jos to Enugu to get the Job.
All her life she has always believed that her father was déåd. Atleast that was what her mother told her.
She has no idea of what her father looks like. Her mother never showed her a picture.
Mirabel had always asked her mother for a picture of her father. But Her mother always told her that the father never wanted her. He ran away immediately he found out I was pregnant. There's no need having his picture. What about the name? Mirabel asked the mother. You don't have to know his name. For all I know. He is déåd and búriéd now. Mirabel's mother said to her.
When she came to Enugu, her friend Esther took her to the company where she submitted her credentials.
She was am0ng the few people selected for the last stage of the interview.
And finally she got the job as the secretary to the CEO of the company.
She doesn't know the CEO. She has never met him.
She was sent an email that night that she got the Job. She was very happy that she told her bestfriend whom inturn was very happy for her.
She was expected to resume work on Monday.
She was very nervous that Monday morning. Mirabel you are good. You will definitely rock this. Don't be nervous. Esther said to Mirabel.
Mirabel went to the office that day and the HR introduced her to her office and also introduced her to the CEO immediately the CEO arrived.
The CEO looked very young. A young handsome gentleman.
You must be Mirabel my New Secretary. The CEO said to Mirabel. Yes sir. Mirabel said keeping a straight face.
You know been my secretary you have to start keeping a smiling face. Don't frown to my office. The CEO said to Mirabel.
This was the first ever conversation Mirabel had with her father, but she doesn't know yet that the CEO is her biological father.
