Where are you Mirabel? The CEO asked her. I came home to take my bath. Mirabel replied. You came home to take your bath? How many years will it take you to finish bathing? The CEO asked. I will soon be done. Mirabel said.
You have thirty minutes to come to the office. The CEO said before hanging up the call.
The call made Mirabel excited. At least now she knows she is not f!red. She still has her Job. That's a good way to start.
She was excited that she quickly dropped her phone beside the bedroom window. But the phone lost balance and fell down on the ground. Her phone went blind immediately.
That was when the excitement left her..
Esther heard the fālling sound and asked her from outside what happened? What fell like that Mirabel? Esther asked Mirabel. But she didn't even have the voice to speak.
Why would her phone get damaged now of all time?
She just quickly took her bath and came out of the bathroom with a sad face and her phone on her hand.
Was it your? Your phone? I'm so sorry, how did it happen? Esther asked Mirabel.
But of course Mirabel didn't say any word. Instead she quickly rubbed cream all over her body and dressed up to go to work.
She took bike and headed straight to work.
Immediately she arrived office. She went straight to the CEO's office.
The HR was in the office with the CEO when Mirabel arrived.
Sir you are giving this girl too much freedom look at the time she is coming to work. I can get another secretary for you. The HR said to the CEO.
You can get another secretary for me? Really? Who got Mirabel for me? The CEO asked the HR. It's me and I take the blame for that. But I can get someone better. The HR said.
HR leave my office. I want to discuss with my secretary. I will call you when I need you. The CEO said.
The HR angrily left the CEO's office.
I'm sorry for coming late today sir. I promise it won't happen again. Mirabel said.
You should be thankful that the investors wants you in this upcoming project. I don't take lateness likely, if it's in my power. I would have got you fired. It's as simple as that Mirabel. I'm not that friendly. The CEO said. I understand sir. Mirabel said.

Mirabel showed the CEO some designs she made with company's laptop.

I want us to make some more designs at my place if it's okay by you. The CEO said. Okay sir. I have no problem with that. Mirabel said.
So keep your phone close then, I will let you know when the driver is coming to pick you up. The CEO said. Is that okay? The CEO asked.
Yeah, yeah. Mirabel replied. He noticed the sudden change of mood on Mirabel's face. Is there a problem Mirabel? The CEO asked Mirabel.
My phone went bād after you called me this morning. Mirabel said.
