We arrived at the bar
"Hi"
He greeted us and we did the same
"What do you boys wish to drink?"
"Hmm"
I hesitated for a moment, scanning the bottles, unsure what to choose so I looked at Matthew
"Whiskey, gin, vodka…?"
He prompted
"Whiskey is fine"
I said
"Scotch?"
He clarified with a smile
"Yes, Scotch"
I confirmed
"Ok"
He replied, then he told the barman
The barman nodded and quickly grabbed a bottle from the back
"Three bottles and five glasses,ready for you"
He said
"Do you want something to go with the whiskey?"
Matthew asked
"Strawberry juice"
I replied
I glanced at the menu
"What food do you have?"
"Fries with grilled chop for now, or you can pick something else,it will take about fifteen minutes to prepare"
The barman said
"Fries and grilled chop are fine"
I said
"Five servings, please"
Matthew ordered
The cost was two hundred,i reached for my wallet,i took two hundred from it but before I handed the money to the barman,Matthew stopped me
"Wait"
He took out his wallet and took a hundred from it, held out his hand with the money to me and shook his head for me to take it
I took it,he sometimes does this so I din't say anything
I gave the money to the barman
The barman handed us a tray with the drinks and when we were about to leave
"Wait a bit, guys"
He said, pulling a bottle from under the table,where we couldn't see
He put the bottle on the table
"This one is special"
" Don't let it go to waste boys"
"From the house"
He said smiling
'This man…'
I didn't argue
We weren't poor, and this gesture meant more than the money
I handed the tray to Matthew and I took the bottle,while doing that i also thanked him with a fist bump and he winked at us
"No problem,boys,have fun"
We left to our place
I sat down in my place, in the middle, between Matthew and Kael
"So what are your plans, brothers?"
I asked them while pouring the drinks
"I don't know, brother, I think I will stick with my drawings, maybe get into tattoos"
Said Matthew
"That is a good and beautiful dream, brother, I really hope for your success"
Ozias said to Matthew, wishing him all the best
"What about you, Zeven?"
"You were always different from us,even though we brothers are crazy, we always knew that you are different from us, you don't go the normal way"
Dak stated, and I couldn't react or say something else than a
"Hm"
Even though I'm like them,crazy, always smiling, I always knew I was different,I don't have dreams, I live in the moment

I drank another glass and then sat up
"Who wants to play pool?"
"Of course we all want"
Matthew stated, looking at Ozias, Dak and Kael
They smiled and sat up
We went to the pool table
"So, how do we play it this time?"
Asked Ozias
"Ozias, you play with me, Dak will wait for the losers and Matthew will play with Zeven"
"Don't worry, I will go easy on you, it's your birthday"
Said Kael while winking at me, smiling
"Don't worry, I got your back, he won't beat us again"
Matthew told me, putting a hand on my shoulder
We started playing
After a while the game ended,we beat them lucky for us they got the black ball in the hole before the time
"Hahaha!"
"We won!"
"Not this time, you bastard"
I told Kael laughing,he looked like he also wanted to tell me something but before he could do it...

I felt and heard my phone, which was in my pocket, vibrate,someone was calling me
I took the phone out and I looked to see who was calling me,on the screen the word Mom appeared, so I took it
I heard the angelic voice using my name
"Where are you, Zeven?"
"Mom, you know that today is my birthday, so I went out with my friends at Raven's"
I responded, peaceful, happy hearing her voice
"I know, happy birthday, I love you so much!"
"I love you too, Mom"
I told her back, even though she is not my real mom
She gave me love and support like no one else in the world has ever done, and that is everything I could ever ask for
"Alright, that's all I wanted to hear,don't drink too much, take care of you and the boys"
"I will"
"Say hello to them for me and wish them a pleasant time"
"Yes,mom"
"I left you something in your bed room on the table "
She told me
"What?"
I asked curiously and happily, wondering what she left me
"I don't know,you will see"
She said laughing
"Alright mom"
"Good then I'm leaving you boys have fun "
"Ok take care,i love you"
"You too mom"
Then the call ended
After the call ended I got back to the game
The boys were waiting for me to finish, so they didn't play
I told them what my mom said
They said how nice she is and we got back to playing
After a while I needed to use the toilet
"I will go to the bathroom"
I told the guys, then I went to the bathroom, which was right next to us
I opened the door and entered inside
Inside there is a hall with two paths,above them each has a sign, so I went to the right, which had a man sign
Inside the men's bathroom, it's only me
I did the thing which I came here for, then I went to the sink to wash my hands and face

I washed my hands, then I raised my head, looking at the mirror
My heart started beating like a drum
"Aaah!"
My legs gave up under me

I crashed into one of the cabins' doors, which made a loud sound because of the echo but not loud enough to alert the boys outside, because of the music and the rain that started half an hour ago
"What the fuck was that?"
I asked myself, touching my eyes
When I raised my head, watching in the mirror, instead of my blue sapphire eyes, I saw two black eyes,dark like an abyss, no light in them
"That's not humanly"
I said, trying to get up and calm down, thinking maybe it was because of the drinks, thinking maybe I was too drunk and it just seemed to me that I saw what I saw

I walked again to the same sink and mirror
I watched again in the mirror and I saw nothing,only my eyes normal
I took the elastic out of my hair, letting it fall loose over my eyebrows. I threw the elastic away and put my hand to my head, thinking again
I looked at my hands,shaking crazy
Smack
"I think I'm going crazy"
I slapped myself,as if to bring me to reality,i went to the sink,i washed my face again, then wiped my face with a paper towel
After I finished,I looked at myself in the mirror
"I must appear normal, I can't let the guys know this happened, they will worry too much"
Then I repeated the same words for minutes

Then after I tied my hair back with a new elastic from my pocket,I got ready and went back to them

I closed the bathroom's door behind me
My heart feeling too calm now after seeing those black eyes… but I knew it,a small part of me liked it
"Finally, he is back"
Said Ozias
It seems the game is over
While I was talking to Ozias and others, Matthew was looking at me very carefully, but he did not say anything,he was always the one that could read me almost every time,he knows when something is wrong with me

I sighed, thinking how to tell them and asking myself if they will believe me
I went back to our place beside the pool table and I sat down on the sofa
