Just as she was about to step inside, Jasper Quinn suddenly called out to her: "Seraphina!"
He raised his hand and pointed to the small wooden cabin not far away, which was glowing warmly.
"That, that's where I live... If anything happens at night, if you're cold, scared, or just want to talk... feel free to come find me."
As soon as he finished speaking, a pair of rabbit ears popped out atop his head with a "swoosh."
Noticing her gaze, Jasper's ears turned even redder at the tips.
He pressed his lips together, hesitated for a moment, then spoke softly.
"Would you like to touch them?"
The entire world seemed to pause.
Gideon Larkin was the first to explode, his face ashen, gripping Seraphina's arm tightly.
His voice shot up, almost roaring: "What do you mean?! Trying to deliberately seduce the female master!"
Inviting Seraphina to touch his beast ears in front of them?
