The marks were light, yet sufficient to leave one's imagination wandering.

He raised his hand to touch his nose tip, clearing his throat in a cover-up manner,
"I'll use the set of moves I just taught you to attack."
He stood firm again, adopting a standard combat stance.
"What you need to do is defend against my every move and counterattack. Dare to try?"
Cora Lowell's eyes lit up, a smile slowly crept to her lips.
Instead of retreating, she advanced, taking a small step forward,
"Of course I dare."
She flexed her wrist, the action was brisk.
"If Mr. Lockwood loses to someone who 'hasn't eaten', it won't sound good if word gets out."
