Upon arriving home, Arcane checked his watch and saw that it was already 8:15 p.m. He hadn't expected to come home so late, but it wasn't late enough for Julian to be asleep yet.
As soon as he opened the front door, he didn't see Julian running towards him as usual. Walking into the house, he didn't find Julian in the living room where they usually watched TV.
"Where is he? He can't be asleep yet."
Continuing on, he stopped right in front of the kitchen door, where he found Julian sitting at the dining table, asleep, leaning against it.
As he approached, he saw a bowl of white tofu soup with fried squid on the table. It turned out that Julian had cooked dinner for him. Arcane glanced at the sink, and everything had been washed clean.
"He must be exhausted after cooking dinner and washing all the dishes. But I didn't think he would do this," he muttered softly so as not to wake Julian.
His hand gently stroked his lover's head, trying not to wake him up.
