Drax led them first to the Adventurers' Guild, a massive building woven from stone and living wood. Inside, the air was cool and filled with quiet chatter. Fairies flitted lazily near the ceiling, glowing softly.
At the counter, Drax collected several forms and handed them to Mike and Elina.
"Academy registration," he explained. "Fill these out."
They did so quickly. After checking everything over, Drax submitted the documents to the guild staff, then returned a short while later.
"It's done," he said. "You're both officially registered for the Academy entrance."
Elina let out a small breath she didn't realize she was holding.
"You can take the entrance test one week from now," Drax continued. "Until then, you're free to prepare however you like."
Mike nodded, a faint smile forming."A week is plenty."
"So… is there a way I can get a fairy?" Mike asked.
Drax chuckled softly. "You can. And there's a special place for it."
