Chapter 47 - Chapter 47 – The Secretary Model Modia Unit! The First Generation Onee-san Type

The air trembled with tension.

If this final attack connected, the Winter Soldier would be erased from existence — not even ashes left behind. The Electromagnetic Storm Blast that Kamen Rider Balkan had prepared was enough to level a city block.

Just as the armored warrior lifted his leg, preparing to release that devastating finishing kick, a flicker of light appeared inside his helmet. His communication line came alive.

A calm yet commanding voice echoed through the comms — Levi's voice.

"Balkan," Levi said. "Do not eliminate him completely. I want the Winter Soldier alive. There are other functions we can make use of."

At once, the armored warrior nodded sharply. "Understood, Mr. President. I'll follow your orders."

Meanwhile, Bucky's detached steel arm, crackling with red lightning, accelerated like a meteor streaking through the night sky. It blazed like a red serpent, a burning projectile of destruction racing toward Balkan.

But the knight did not retreat.

Instead, he bent slightly, focusing the energy coursing through his armor. His right leg gleamed as he unleashed his power.

"Assault Wolf!"

A translucent blue wolf-head phantom erupted from his armor with a mighty roar. The spectral beast charged forward, leaving streaks of violet-blue light across the battlefield. With feral precision, it bit down on the flying steel arm, locking its fangs around it.

Then, in a burst of power, it sprinted across the ground like lightning, dragging the captured arm along with it. The resulting shockwave slammed into Bucky, lifting him off his feet and hurling him across the road.

BOOM!

The Winter Soldier crashed through a car parked nearby. The windows shattered instantly, and the car doors caved inward. When the dust settled, Bucky lay half-embedded in the wreckage, motionless.

A stream of blood trickled from his forehead. His head slumped sideways — unconscious.

Balkan exhaled slowly, lowering his armored leg. "That should keep him alive… barely."

If Levi hadn't intervened, that blast would have obliterated Bucky completely. The Electromagnetic Storm Explosion Heat was lethal enough to turn a man into nothing but smoke and memory.

As for the wolf phantom, it kept charging ahead, the steel arm still clamped in its jaws. The moment it reached the edge of the street, it slammed straight into a stone ridge nearby.

The explosion that followed was deafening.

BOOM!

A blinding flash consumed the area. The ridge disintegrated, rocks and dust shooting into the air as the ground trembled. When the smoke cleared, a deep crater gaped where the mountain once stood — proof of the attack's unimaginable power.

From a distance, men in black suits, watching the scene unfold, could only stare in horror. The shockwave hit them seconds later, forcing some to their knees. Their eyes widened — a mix of awe and fear.

Even Levi, sitting in the armored car nearby, watched the explosion unfold in silent admiration. The reflection of the fire flickered across his glasses. When the smoke began to fade, he turned away, exhaling slowly.

This assassination attempt was over.

He pressed his earpiece, issuing calm, efficient orders.

"Izzy," he said. "Have Balkan deal with the rest of the enemy forces. Leave no one alive."

His tone was colder than steel. "Then contact the Vanderbuilt Technologies Repair Division. Have them come and clean up the scene. If any of those Ames Unit members are still functional, recover them for restoration."

Izzy's voice responded promptly, crisp and professional. "Understood, Mr. President."

Levi continued, "If their Modia Unit cores are intact, they can be recovered. Just re-upload their data — they'll be operational again."

He paused for a moment before adding, "Also, activate Satellite Zenith surveillance. I don't want a single frame of this battle leaking online."

Izzy acknowledged, "Yes, sir. I'll handle it immediately."

She turned to her left, toward Balkan, who was still standing amidst the wreckage, his armor faintly steaming. "The rest is up to you," she said. "Clean them out."

Balkan caught the briefcase-shaped firearm Izzy tossed him — a sleek, heavy weapon forged by Vanderbuilt's engineering division. He nodded once and slotted his Assault Wolf Key into the weapon.

"Understood."

As the device locked in place with a sharp click, the few remaining mercenaries watching the scene panicked. Their courage shattered like glass.

"Run!" one of them screamed. "Run, damn it!"

They scattered in all directions, but Balkan moved like a reaper. The briefcase gun transformed in his hands, panels shifting and folding until it became a large energy rifle. He aimed and fired, cutting down the fleeing men one after another.

Blinding bursts of energy flashed through the smoke. Within moments, silence returned.

The slaughter was complete.

---

Meanwhile, Izzy moved quickly. After passing the weapon to Balkan, she turned to where Wren (formerly Ren Wei) was lying injured on the pavement. Kneeling gracefully, she helped lift him up.

Her earpiece flashed as she opened a secure channel to Vanderbuilt Technologies Headquarters, specifically connecting to Director Jiesta, the head of the Modia Unit Development Division.

Jiesta was among the first-generation secretary-type Modia Units, just like Izzy — elegant, composed, and designed with a distinct Onee-san (big-sister) personality. With her mature charm and calm tone, she embodied authority and care in equal measure.

When Izzy's transmission reached her, Jiesta immediately went to work. "Understood, Izzy. I'll mobilize our logistical repair team and dispatch them to your location immediately," she said. "We'll retrieve the damaged Modia Units and perform diagnostics on site."

"Thank you," Izzy replied, her tone warm but hurried. "We've sustained moderate structural damage, but the situation is under control."

Within minutes, Vanderbuilt's white-armored repair drones and field engineers were on the move. Their vehicles glided down the expressway under drone escort, lights cutting through the darkness like stars.

---

Once the immediate situation was stabilized, Izzy helped Wren into Levi's vehicle. The interior of the armored car was quiet, glowing faintly with holographic displays that projected mission logs and data feeds from Satellite Zenith.

"President," Izzy said, bowing her head slightly, "I must apologize. We failed to identify the attackers before they struck. That oversight put everyone at risk."

Levi waved a hand dismissively. "It's fine. You handled the situation well enough. Let's return to headquarters first."

He leaned back as the car engine roared to life. Outside, the city lights blurred into streaks of gold and blue as they sped through the highway. A shimmering energy shield enveloped the car, ensuring no further ambushes could succeed.

Within the hour, they arrived safely at Vanderbuilt Technologies Headquarters — a towering complex of glass and steel, its rooftop glowing with the emblem of a stylized wolf.

Levi stepped out of the car first, adjusting his coat. "Izzy, take Wren to the Repair Department. Have them treat his injuries and restore his internal components. After that, return to the scene and ensure all traces are cleared."

"Yes, sir," Izzy replied gently. She supported Wren with both arms, guiding him toward the elevator that led to the upper floors.

As soon as the two disappeared into the building, Levi's expression changed. His calm facade slipped away, replaced by a cold, calculating gaze. Without another word, he turned and entered the presidential elevator alone.

He input a long security code, and the elevator began to descend rapidly — past the first floor, past the sub-levels, deep into the restricted sixth underground sector.

As the doors slid open, a sharp sound echoed through the corridor — the rhythmic tapping of high heels striking the metallic floor.

Someone was waiting for him down here.

Levi's eyes narrowed as he stepped into the dimly lit chamber. Blue light from computer panels flickered across his face, illuminating a shadowed figure standing at the far end of the room — the source of that elegant, commanding sound.

The faint smile that curved Levi's lips was both intrigued and dangerous.

The meeting in the underground lab — with the Onee-san-type Modia Unit, the first generation secretary model — was about to begin.
