Chapter 39 - Dying
She was dying. All around her, she could feel it. Even in this darkness that she was stuck in, she could feel it everywhere. Her bones were dying, her skin was dying, her blood was killing her, and even the air had no mercy.
She could feel the faint stir in her chest. That deadweight.
It was such an overwhelming feeling of pain that even her wolf, which had been forced into a coma was trying to heal her.
Even her wolf was at a better stage away from death than she was.
Idalia went in and out of consciousness. Her power and that of her wolf combined, pushing her forward.
Fighting to stay alive because her job wasn't done yet. She hadn't seen her son survive yet. She couldn't even hear Gina one.
Things were moving too quickly around Idalia. She would force her eyes open to a scene, her eyes would pull shut and by the time she would force herself to open her eyes again, she would be in a different place.
