When he broke off the wall, Dravon was now fighting off tens of them at once. He had taken only a hundred men with him tonight; whoever wanted him dead had this information.
From where he was, he could see the boy getting overpowered. He threw his sword, which struck the assassin on the back of the neck, pinning him to the ground.
"Where do you think they came from?!" The boy asked Dravon when he pulled him up from under the soldier who almost killed him if Dravon had not intervened.
"Somewhere, obviously." He had no desire to talk.
"I've never seen killers with this level of brutality, and how are they so fast!" The boy continued, but Dravon had already left him.
The boy saw him afar now, where Dravon kicked a man into a tree, stabbing him with a single blow across the chest. His tunic was covered with blood, and only the one dripping slightly from his left shoulder was his.
