"What were you reading this time?" Kaelion asked, trying to peer over him and at the book. He quickly covered it, turning it over to the blank side of the book's cover.
"I've never seen anyone obsessed with their own writing as much as you are."
"I didn't say it was one of my books." Lucas fired back, clearly irritated with his brother's impressive perception.
Kaelion shifted his nurse in doubt, still staring hard at Lucas because he knew he was not one to keep up a lie.
"Okay. I didn't know you were interested in my art anyways."
"I wouldn't call it interest." It just surprises me how the whole world could be burning and you could be huddled up here writing those books of yours. I check them out, only out of curiosity."
"Including that one," he said while nodding towards the book on the table. "It was a bad one, though."
"I know that already. Why are you here?"
