Chapter 3: The New World and Danger (ពិភពថ្មី និងគ្រោះថ្នាក់)
🏰 Landing in the Divine Magic Spell Realm (ការចុះចតនៅពិភពមន្ដរាជ)
Sok's (ស័ក្តិ) body was violently swept into a golden, blazing blur after he leaped through the Divine Bodhi Gateway (ច្រកទ្វារដើមពោធិ៍ទេព). It felt as if his body was torn apart and reassembled in the briefest moment.
When he opened his eyes, Sok found himself lying on a vast, golden-green grassland unlike anything he had ever seen. The air here was pure and refreshing, yet filled with the strange scent of Magical Ore (រ៉ែវេទមន្ត) that permeated the atmosphere.
"Is this... the Divine Magic Spell Realm (ពិភពមន្ដរាជ)?" Sok murmured in astonishment.
Above his head, the sky was sapphire blue (ខៀវត្បូងកណ្តៀង), but thick black clouds were rolling in from the north. The surrounding landscape was filled with mountains and trees many times taller than Chisor Mountain. In the far distance, Sok could see an Ancient Temple (ប្រាសាទបុរាណ) constructed of white stone and adorned with beautiful carvings of Nagas and Garudas.
But these beauties were being defiled by Darkness (ភាពងងឹត). The land to the east was scorched black, and black smoke billowed from the debris.
Sok knelt down and touched the earth. The ground here possessed intense life force (កម្លាំងជីវិត), but that force was being drained by some evil power. He knew that his grandfather's legend was true, and he had indeed arrived in the world that needed his help.
🗡️ The Asura Ambush (ការវាយឆ្មក់របស់អសុរា)
Just as Sok was gazing at the new environment in wonder, a fierce roar erupted from behind a bush.
Three monsters, much larger than the Mekha (មេខា) in the previous chapter, leaped out. They were shaped like wild beasts with skin covered in shiny black Dark Ore (រ៉ែងងឹត) like steel. They were not just monsters, but an Asura Patrol (កងល្បាតអសុរា) searching for those who crossed the border.
Patrol Member 1 immediately fired a blast of Purple Dark Energy (ថាមពលងងឹត) directly at Sok. Sok had not undergone any training yet, but because his Khong Vong Spell (មន្តគង់វង្ស - Invulnerability) was already awake, he instinctively raised his hand to block.
Instantly, a strong Golden Light (ពន្លឺ មាសដ៏រឹងមាំ) emanated from Sok's chest and reflected (ឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំង) that dark energy blast back towards Patrol Member 1.
Patrol Member 1 was severely wounded by its own power. Sok himself was stunned by what happened. He knew he could withstand an attack, but he never expected to be able to reflect a magical attack like this.
🏹 The Rescue by Sophea (ការជួយសង្គ្រោះពី សោភា)
While Sok was fighting the two remaining Asura Patrol members, two swift Green Magical Arrows (ព្រួញវេទមន្ត) flew in from the nearby forest. The arrows hit the heads of the two monsters accurately, causing them to fall quickly to the ground.
A heroine leaped out of the bushes. Her name is Sophea (សោភា), a secondary heroine and a magical leader of the Monusaa (humans) of this realm.
Sophea was of average height, but possessed brave and captivating large eyes (ភ្នែកធំ). She wore light leather armor in green and brown, and her long black hair was neatly tied up. She held a magical bow in her hand and approached Sok with a serious expression.
"Who are you? Why have you crossed through the Divine Bodhi Gateway (ច្រកទ្វារពោធិ៍ទេព) and come here? Answer me!" Sophea questioned in a firm voice filled with suspicion.
Sok dropped his axe, slightly afraid, and tried to explain:
"I... I am Sok. I came from the other world. I am not an enemy! I saw that a great threat was happening..."
Sophea did not trust him immediately, as outsiders never arrived without a prior summoning. She looked at the Golden Krama (ក្រមាពណ៌មាស) around Sok's neck and the subtle Khong Vong Spell energy coursing around him.
"This power... it is the Khong Vong Spell! And the Gateway opened with a golden light! Are you... the Person of Purpose (មនុស្សនៃបុព្វហេតុ) that was prophesied?" Sophea exclaimed in surprise.
🛡️ Escort to the Monusaa Base (ការនាំចូលទៅមូលដ្ឋានមនុស្សា)
Sophea decided she could not leave Sok alone here. She ordered two other Monusaa patrol members, who had been hiding nearby, to come out and assist. The patrol members wore leather armor similar to Sophea's and looked agile and strong.
"Come with me! We must bring you immediately to the Monusaa Base (មូលដ្ឋានមនុស្សា) so our leader can perform a trial ritual. If the prophecy is true, then you are our only hope to sever this Dark Destiny (ជោគវាសនា ងងឹត)!" Sophea said sternly.
Before leaving, Sophea used her magic to briefly revitalize some of the withered trees around them. Sok looked upon the magic with delight and wonder. He knew this world was not just danger, but also full of wonders that he must learn to protect.
As they traveled towards the Monusaa Base, Sophea outlined the current situation:
Maha Asura (មហាអសុរា) has already conquered almost half of the Divine Magic Spell Realm.
The Seven Heroes (វីរបុរសទាំង ៧ រូប) who were prophesied have scattered due to fear, despair, and harassment from the Dark Destiny.
Sok's first task is to fully awaken his Golden Naga King (នាគរាជមាស), and then he must begin a long adventure to gather the remaining Heroes.
Looking up at the sky where dark clouds were rolling in, Sok knew that the journey ahead was no longer about farming, but a great Destiny (ជោគវាសនា) that demanded immense sacrifice and bravery. He was ready for the next step.
