Isfrid was a boy born into the Vaelor family. The Vaelors are said to descend from Dragons. Red eyes and red hair are hallmarks of the Vaelor family and represent their relationship to both fire and Dragons. The Vaelors are symbols of strength in the Eldara Kingdom, with Kael Vaelor, the patriarch of the Vaelor family, leading them. The Vaelors are feared by all, even in the royal family. Isfrid Vaelor was a boy born into the family during they're prime, but he was despised by his family for one simple reason. He didn't have any of the characteristics that define a Vaelor. His azure eyes and ethereal white hair were simply an insult to their family, their legacy, to their bloodline. This story follows a child of ice, born into a family of fire.

Isfrid was born and raised in the world called Orenfall. He is no reincarnator, or transmigrator. He does not know Earth or any of its customs or traditions. In certain situations, I, as the author, will make references to Earth. There will be character growth in a sense; however, it will be different than most other novels.


Isfrid is the sovereign of ice; born to rule. Even as a boy, he will never bow. There may be many who are more powerful than him, many who could kill him with a flick of their wrist; however, power doesn't make them right. It doesn't give Isfrid an excuse to grovel and kneel. He will take a beating now; however, he will return it tenfold in the future. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and blood for blood.


This is the conviction of a sovereign. Let me also preface this novel with a very important message. Before I am an author, I am a reader. I have read 100's of webnovels and even more novels in general. In almost every piece of fiction I have ever consumed, there have been things I like and don't like, and for some reason, the things I don't like always leave a bad taste in my mouth.


I've given up on finding the perfect novel that doesn't have key aspects, arcs, or just small things that ruin the story for me. I will simply create my own. If you have feedback on the novel, I will always read it and take things critically; however, I will make this clear from the start. I'm not writing this novel for you; I am simply writing it because I want to read it.


If your suggestions can help me create my Ideal novel, I will take them into account and possibly implement them. However, if your ideas conflict with my vision for the novel, I will scrap them without a second thought.

Each magician progresses by brightening and eventually cracking their Mana Core, cycling through stages of purity and reforming at higher density. Each stage of purity is reflected by brightness. With each stage, efficiency, potency, and understanding of mana will be increased. 


→ Breakthrough: The core shatters and reforms into a denser, more refined core, moving on to the next core grade. 


- Each grade repeats the five brightness phases before the next breakthrough.


Like magicians, augmentors refine their energy through stages — each refining cycle strengthens their aura, maximizes efficiency, and increases their understanding of aura. 


→ Breakthrough: Aura erupts outward, forming a new "ring" or layer of energy. Each breakthrough resets the refinement process at a higher resonance.


- Each grade repeats the five refinement stages before the next breakthrough. 


- Only five ranks for enchanters; however, there hasn't been a known enchanter to reach anything above rank 3 for as long as people have recorded history.
