He exhaled heavily, taking in ragged breaths as he watched the portal to see which beasts he would be facing on the tenth level.

His eyes remained fixed on the portal for a few unsettling seconds that seemed to drag on for hours.
Strangely, it was just a single silhouette that seemed a little similar to him that stepped out from the portal.
