News spread that several officials connected to the operation had suddenly disappeared.
Nobody knew where they were.
But the people running the Python Paradox understood exactly what that meant.
They became terrified.
The hidden taxation system was immediately shut down.
The unauthorized charges stopped.
The excessive deductions stopped.
The websites connected to the operation were taken offline.
The banks and financial companies involved began distancing themselves from the system.
Nobody wanted to become the next target.
One executive reportedly said:
"Shut everything down. Now. Before this becomes personal."
The entire operation collapsed almost overnight.
Without the corrupt officials approving and maintaining the agreements, the Python Paradox no longer had the authority or funding to continue operating.

Derek watched the news from his apartment.
He sat quietly with a cup of coffee beside him.

Derek smiled slightly.
"Problem solved."
He took another sip of coffee.
He hadn't intended to become a hero.
He hadn't joined the government.
He hadn't asked anyone to praise him.
He simply found the people responsible and removed the problem.
But Derek knew something the public didn't.
The Python Paradox hadn't collapsed because the system suddenly became ethical.

Derek looked out of his apartment window.
"One week."
He smiled.
