Chapter 7 - Fawning And Foolery

Her deep violet eyes and the long, white blonde hair bounced with her step. Mesmerizing the young hero and making his heart skip a beat alongside her silent breaths. Rudiea's mind often wandered, but to let it wander in a dark cave full of monsters was quite the risk. Despite being aware of those dangers, his eyes kept coming back to crush..

Dressed in a silver gown with its hems reaching her ankles, Roxanne's eyes remained focused upfront. Moving through the cave with her bejeweled spear lit with a light spell, she guided the group forward, as her luck was better than anyone else's.

"I still can't believe that you luck dropped to minus out of nowhere," glancing back at the redhead youngster and the only man in their party, she paused for a moment and stopped focusing on the light spell to conserve energy. "Can you check again? Maybe something was wrong last time."

Draped in darkness, the young hero nodded his boyish head. Holding his hand forward, he focused on himself and, in a flash, burst into existence, glowing golden letters. Floating mid-air, the words illuminated their surroundings once more, but not for long, as the moment Rudeia read his luck stat, he also allowed the words to go.

"Minus ten…"

"Geez, that's…" With darkness taking over again, Audrey took a deep gulp to their leader's words. "Really, really, really bad. All of your stats will take a penalty from it, not to mention extra damage and status effects will apply to you without fail!"

"I know, Audrey, now keep your voice down," covering his half sister's mouth, the warrior lifted his shield and turned his head back to Roxanne. "That's why Roxanne is leading today, remember? No need to worry, I'm sure everything will be fine."

"Yes, I have the best luck, so any surprise shouldn't work against me," confident in her ability to avoid any trouble, Roxanne smiled at her companions and raised her staff again. "Lead us into the dark, O'small flame of the bruised heart~"

Casting the spell of small light, the healer nodded at the leader, the fox girl, and even noticed the leopard woman–Charlotte, who'd been staring at her nephew while towering over them all.

"Just be careful, dear nephew," forcing a smile on her face, Charlotte slapped Rudiea's rear. "I'm not good with bad news, so your mother will never know if something happened to you here. Not from me, at least."

Chuckling to herself, she lifted the shadow from her heart. However, even as her angst disappeared, she found her nephew frozen in place and standing up on his toes with an awkward expression. The other two were staring at him as well, each ready to ask what happened, not realizing that his luck was so bad that the playful spank on his rear had also been a critical blow to his balls.

Barely holding the need to scream in a cave full of monsters, Rudeia had his lips pressed tight. Huffing out with relief after a while, he tried not to let the girls know what had happened, and thankfully, none of them had figured it out themselves either.

"Is something wrong?" Roxanne asked, worried that he'd gotten sick.

Shaking his head, he gestured for them to start walking. Although reluctant at first, upon his verbal insistence, Roxanne began guiding the group further into the goblin cave. Soon enough, the incident was forgotten in the rancid smell of decaying human flesh, along with the sour odour of monster sweat and other juices.

'Not too far now.' Thought the group as they continued to move in silence. With adrenaline coursing through their bodies and their senses were tingling. They could even hear their own hearts pounding out of their chests, but most important of all, their mind and their toes were ready to intercept any enemies that may come.

"Did they take prisoners? I don't remember anyone missing," Audrey asked as the group tiptoed and stalked their prey on their knees.

The sight of goblins around a turn was cast on a wall by a brightly lit flame. Hunkered down with the staff, no longer lighting the place, it was time for a quick discussion before going in against the enemy in their own terrain.

"They probably captured travelers trying to get to our village." Breaking the silence, Charlotte drew everyone in. "This could be tricky, but we need to stick to formation. Remember that."

"Yeah," placing a hand on Audrey's shoulder, Rudeia looked her in the eye. "I will be in the front with my shield, and you and Aunty will be just behind me on the right and the left. Prevent them from scouping around us, and I will take the brunt of any charging goblin. Single file, we might be able to take them, especially if Roxanne sticks between you two and right behind me. Healing and buffing everyone up."

Nodding along, everyone prepared themselves for the fight to come. This wasn't their first time against goblins, and their experience had taught them to provoke them so they would attack the very first person in their line. Meanwhile, the others will slice them up once they run out of stamina.

"Nothing new, just–" The only problem arose as Rudeia turned back towards Roxanne. Down on her knees with her head lowered, the girl didn't realize it, but her cleavage and her frilly white bra were more visible than ever. Stacked at the top as she was in the bottom, her breasts were tightly pressed together with the slightest hint of her rosy nipples peeking out of her bra.

Panting out of nowhere, the hero–a virgin with a very excitable yet shrimpish cock–shook his head a few times and forced himself to look away before anyone realized what was going on in his head. The others, however, were not blind to the act. It made them question whether he was truly feeling okay or not.

"Rudy, we don't have to do this now if you're not feeling okay." Leaning forward, Roxanne grabbed Rudiea's hands and pulled them closer to her. But instead of making things better, with the swell of her breasts touching his hand, the situation inside Rudy's head and his groin only got worse. "Let's leave, okay? We can fight any stray goblins near the cave, better outside than here. Especially with your luck being in the negative."

The others were, of course, in agreement. And since the hero could neither tell them about the slap to his balls nor the fact that he was barely holding himself from bursting inside his underwear from the mere sight of Roxanne's cleavage, he had to agree and was led outside the cave. But even that in the end, wouldn't end the way that he wanted…
