Konoha Village, Uchiha Clan Compound.
Swish!
Two figures silently appeared in a courtyard.
A calm voice came from inside the house.
"Is that you, Shisui, Itachi?"
"It's us, Akemi-nii."
Soon, a boy around sixteen or seventeen walked out.
His fair, clean-cut face carried a sharp and composed look.
His dark, deep eyes shimmered with a captivating light.
The faint, gentle smile on his lips gave off an approachable warmth.
He waved them over. "Shisui, Itachi, you came at the right time. I just finished making dinner. Come, eat with me."
Shisui shook his head. "No need, Akemi-nii. What you said before—it came true. Danzō really tried to take my Sharingan."
Earlier today, Danzō had called to meet him. Remembering Akemi's warning, Shisui had sent a shadow clone instead—and sure enough, Danzō had attacked.
He immediately told Itachi, and the two came straight to Akemi.
Itachi said quietly, "Akemi-nii, just as you predicted, ANBU has ordered me to monitor the Uchiha clan. At the same time, Father wants me to act as a double agent between the clan and the village. But ANBU's highest directive… is to watch you."
Shisui nodded. "Same here. The Konoha Council has also ordered me to keep an eye on you. Akemi-nii, what should we do now?"
Normally calm, Shisui couldn't hide his unease.
Akemi smiled faintly. "No need to panic. Things haven't reached the worst point yet. But tell me—if the clan and the village truly go to war, which side will you stand on?"
"..."
The room fell silent.
They were both Uchiha, yet also shinobi of Konoha. If possible, neither wanted war—but peace seemed impossible now.
At last, the two exchanged a look and said together,
"We'll follow you, Akemi-nii."
"You'll follow me, huh? You two… Well, I do have one idea. Since you don't want war between the clan and the village, why don't we just leave?"
"Leave? Impossible," Shisui said immediately. "The clan head and the elders would never agree. And Konoha would never allow it."
The Uchiha were a major clan; their kekkei genkai, the Sharingan, was renowned across the ninja world. Konoha would never allow such power to walk away—it would be a massive threat if they joined another village.
"Allow us? Since when did we need anyone's permission?"
Akemi stood up. "Come on."
"Brother Akemi, where are we going?"
"To Naka Shrine."
Naka Shrine—the Uchiha's ancestral temple and meeting hall. Tonight's meeting there was to discuss the coup.
---
At Naka Shrine
Uchiha Fugaku stood at the front, rallying his clan.
"All of you know my son has entered ANBU and has been gathering information. For years, the Konoha leadership has been excluding us, denying us participation in any decision-making."
"But Konoha was founded by the Senju and the Uchiha together! We have every right to be involved!"
"That's right!"
"Exactly!" the crowd echoed.
Fugaku's words resonated deeply.
"These years, we've been ostracized and suppressed. Our survival grows harder by the day."
"As clan head, I bear that responsibility."
"But our patience has only emboldened Konoha's high council. Since they treat us this way, then tonight—"
Suddenly—
Creak.
The shrine doors opened. Three figures appeared: Akemi, Itachi, and Shisui.
Akemi raised a hand with an easy smile. "Yo! Sorry we're late."
Fugaku smiled faintly. "Akemi, Shisui, Itachi—you came just in time."
Though young, Akemi was already regarded as the Uchiha's number one. Some even claimed he was Konoha's strongest shinobi.
Shisui was a little younger, but the Uchiha's number two. Fugaku himself, though clan leader, ranked only third.
His son Itachi, just eleven, had already awakened the Three-Tomoe Sharingan—a prodigy destined to surpass them all.
Akemi, Shisui, Itachi—together they were known as the Three Uchiha Heroes, the pride of the clan.
Their presence filled Fugaku with confidence about the coup.
"Clan leader, are we really doing this tonight?"
Akemi asked directly.
Fugaku frowned. "Akemi, it's not that we want war. But Konoha has gone too far. You know well how we've been treated."
"For years, Konoha has bled us dry, sending us to the most dangerous battlefields—so many of our people have died. And what have we received in return?"
"Mistrust! Suspicion! Surveillance!!"
"Every day, ANBU spies follow us. We can't even walk freely through our own village. In recent years, they've even forbidden us to leave."
"Konoha no longer treats us as their own. If this goes on, we'll be wiped out within ten years. So this isn't a matter of wanting to rebel—we have no choice."
Akemi gave him a faint look of respect. 'Not bad, Clan Head. You're more perceptive than I thought.'
'No need for ten years—two years from now, the Uchiha will be massacred.'
He shook his head. "Konoha's upper brass aren't fools. They've been watching us for a long time, setting countless traps. If we move, they'll know instantly."
"The Sarutobi clan especially—Hiruzen has been hoarding power for years. His clan's influence has grown many times over."
"Their allies have risen too, while we've been steadily weakened."
"Even if we win, our losses will be catastrophic—maybe one in ten will survive. And the villagers, blinded by rumors, will never accept us. Tell me—can one-tenth of us truly hold the whole village?"
"And that's not all. Other villages will seize the chance to invade. Surrounded by enemies, both inside and out, we'll perish together with Konoha."
"Then what do you suggest? Just let them keep stepping on us?!"
"Yeah! Those Konoha bastards treat us like dirt!"
"They even refuse to sell to us!"
"They call us traitors!"
"They're the real scum!" voices rose in anger.
Fugaku sighed. "Akemi, we've thought about all that. But as you see, if we don't fight, there's no way out."
"No," Akemi smiled. "There's still a way—if you're willing."
"What way?"
"Since Konoha rejects us… then we'll completely cut ties. The Uchiha will leave Konoha."
"You reject us? Fine—we're gone."
"Impossible!"
"Naïve!"
"Konoha would never let us go!"
The elders immediately objected.
"Akemi, it's not that simple. Even if we wanted to leave, Konoha would hunt us down. And once we're out, every other nation will target us too. We've made enemies everywhere."
"For years, we've fought Konoha's wars. Every great nation hates us. If we go rogue, they'll crush us like prey."
Akemi chuckled. "Who said I meant just leaving Konoha? I mean leaving this world."
"What do you mean?"
"Exactly that. I'll take you all out of this world."
"Leave this world?!"
"You've always wondered why my power is different—why I've grown so strong so fast. It's because I found another world."
"That world is similar to ours, but even bigger. Countless races, countless powers, and endless strength."
"The greatest power there is called the World Government—an organization of more than 170 allied nations, ruling the seas and enforcing order."
Everyone's hearts pounded.
Even Shisui and Itachi, who knew Akemi best, were stunned.
Another world?
And bigger than this one?
How much wealth and opportunity must that world hold?
