Chapter 194 - Anomalous Simulation

[You rule the world.]

[You collect all Honkai energy crystals.]

[You disappear.]

[This simulation has ended.]

[Three rewards are available for this simulation: 300 Honkai Energy Crystals, Honkai Resistance Evolution, Simulation Realization.]

Staring at the results displayed by the simulation system, Houraiji Kyuusyou instantly grasped the key point—it could not simulate across worlds.

Once she left the current world, the deduction would be completely interrupted.

"This system is way too inconvenient!" she couldn't help complaining.

Delta, whose mind was linked with hers, could naturally see the simulation contents as well.

When her gaze swept over the reward "Simulation Realization," she immediately understood its essence: it used the entire dream world as a foundation to fully reproduce the simulated outcome within the dream.

Once the result was confirmed, they could then use their ability to swap reality and the dream world.

With her sister's body—one that could be severely injured even by Honkai bombs manufactured by humans—whether she could even externalize the dream was questionable.

The power required to exchange two worlds exceeded what Houraiji Kyuusyou could endure.

Houraiji Kyuusyou's body.

No one understood it better than Delta. Her own body contained pure ultimate lifeform genes, while her sister's body was mixed with the abnormal human genes of the Schariac lineage—Schariac genes came with innate Honkai resistance. After fusing with ultimate lifeform genes, that resistance had evolved dramatically, yet it also caused conflict between the genes and Honkai energy.

"Able to control and purge Honkai energy, yet also resistant to it..." Delta could guess the intentions of whoever had engineered such genes. Using symmetry breaking to control genetic expression, preserving a "human" identity while gaining the ability to manipulate Honkai energy.

But in her view, a being possessing such genes was no longer truly human.

Then again, identity was something one defined for oneself. There was no need to be bound by external labels.

The concept of "human" and the concept of "god" were sometimes easily countered.

Learning flexible self-definition was an important lesson.

"Which of the three rewards should I choose?" Houraiji Kyuusyou turned to ask Delta.

"The third one." Delta pondered briefly. "I'm quite curious what 'Simulation Realization' actually entails."

"Alright, then I'll pick it." Houraiji Kyuusyou immediately selected the third reward.

The next second, the dream world underwent earth-shattering changes. Time seemed to be fast-forwarded, and the two of them were instantly pulled to the future point reached in the simulation—the future had already become the present.

Fortunately, since they were within the dream world, no matter how drastically it changed, Houraiji Kyuusyou could reset everything to its initial state with her dream ability.

She tried activating her power and found that she was not affected in the slightest. She could still create things out of nothing, conjuring whatever she desired and freely manipulating the entire dream world.

Watching her control the dream, Delta became even more certain: in the previous simulation, the reason her sister had been gravely injured by humans must have been due to severe weakening.

If she retained her dream ability, her sister could not possibly be injured within the dream.

Moreover, the textual simulation had too many loopholes. Their Honkai System had not been mentioned at all. It was clearly beyond the scope of the simulation—if even the Honkai System could be deduced, that would be equivalent to peering into the future of other universes.

For a simulation system personally created by Principal Sirin, it was normal that it could not reach that level.

But precisely because the simulation lacked the crucial information of the Honkai System, Delta felt that the "herself" and "sister" within the simulation behaved strangely. Their logic felt completely unlike their real selves.

"Sister, try simulating again," Delta said to Houraiji Kyuusyou, who was currently observing the realized dream world from a "god's-eye view."

"Why suddenly simulate again?" Houraiji Kyuusyou asked in confusion.

"I have an idea. I want to verify something."

"Alright, I'll try once more." Because their minds were connected, Houraiji Kyuusyou instantly understood her intention and immediately initiated a second simulation.

[You begin the simulation.]

[You return to this world.]

Seeing the first line of deduction, Houraiji Kyuusyou grew thoughtful—this simulation was actually continuing from the previous storyline?

[Humanity feels fear at your return.]

[Delta demands that humanity offer her beautiful maidens for her enjoyment.]

"What?" Houraiji Kyuusyou's face instantly filled with disbelief.

Her little sister had always been cold and extremely disgusted with humans. How could she possibly make such a demand?

What kind of nonsense was this simulation even generating?

After reading this passage, Delta instead became certain of one thing: she could influence the "herself" inside the simulation.

The simulation continued:

[You are puzzled by this, but out of trust in your sister, you do not stop her.]

[Delta receives ten beautiful maidens offered by humanity.]

[You are curious what your sister intends to do!]

[Delta does not hide her plan. She wants to transform these human girls into her toys.]

[You become furious upon learning this and clash with her.]

[You fight her in a great battle.]

[You lose.]

[Having lost the ability to resist, you are thrown onto the bed and severely disciplined by your sister.]

[Honkai energy overflows from your body.]

[You lose consciousness.]

[You are imprisoned by her.]

Looking at this outrageous deduction, Houraiji Kyuusyou's mouth twitched, speechless.

She turned to glance at Delta. The other girl's face remained expressionless, still wearing her usual indifferent look.

Through their shared consciousness, Houraiji Kyuusyou was absolutely certain—her sister was definitely not the type to be "cold on the surface but secretly perverted." This simulation was simply making things up out of thin air.
