Chapter 87 - Victory

Chapter 88: Victory

From Vilgax's formless body, countless shapes began to emerge.

They were other members of his species — Chimera Sui Generis — each one birthed directly from his own flesh. Once, Vilgax had sought the Omnitrix to protect his race. Now, he had devoured them entirely, using their very existence as fuel for his dark decent into profanity.

Vilgax was a Tyrant, after all.

And tyrants used their minions well.

Every single one of these newly spawned creatures was of the Great Rank — one rank below their creator. If an astronaut had witnessed the scene from moon, they would have seen nothing but a massive green smudge covering the planet, so dense it nearly plunged Earth into an ice age.

There was hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions.

Each carried a will of their own. That collective will could have been used to shield their master but why waste it as a shield when it could be used as a spear instead?

So Vilgax did exactly that.

The terrifying swarm of Chimera Sui Generis lunged forward like a living tide, flying straight into George's oncoming wave of purifying light. Their combined Will condensed them into a singular, razor-sharp spear tip, amplified even further by vilgax tyrannical will.

BOOOOM!

The collision was cataclysmic and catastrophic, bending the laws of the world. Sound should not have existed in the vacuum of space, yet the sheer velocity and mass of the impact shattered that rule for a brief, deafening moment, letting all of the Galaxy hear the sound of destruction.

George, shielded by his own Will to allow him to breathe in tbe vacuum of space, exhaled heavily.

His strongest attack, a combination of his dormant, awakened and ascended abilities, layered over his will and augmented by Ascalon had failed.

'This is bad…'

His essence reserves were not unlimited. Without a Domain, he had no constant source of power and no infinite reservs of spirit Essence. His Will was mighty, but it was not empowered by the faith or souls of his subjects.

Supremes could wield their power in myriad ways with no theoretical limit… but George, still had his own limits.

He wasn't fast enough.

A massive tendril shot toward him, aimed to impale his chest and infect his very soul with profanity once again, this time, there was no golden light protecting him and Ascalon felt heavy in his hands...

For a moment, George believed this was the end.

But death never came, and he never gazed upon the grey shores of the shadow realm...

Instead, a gigantic arm wreathed in pure fire had materialized from nowhere, intercepting the tendril with a powerful slap. The corrupted limb burned away instantly in flames.

George's eyes widened as he traced the arm back to its owner, following the trail of soul essence.

A small, tired smile formed on his lips.

"I must say… the younger generation truly does not disappoint."

The figure floated toward him — a crimson cape fluttering dramatically in the void, white Plumbers armor gleaming under the light of distant stars

Max Tennyson had arrived.

His Will was vast and overwhelming, far surpassing George's own. It was only natural. After all, it carried the collective souls and desires of billions of humans and millions of noble creatures that existed within his domain.

"I would not call myself young," Max replied, his voice transmitting directly through Will, "but thank you for the compliment."

He turned his gaze toward Vilgax, looking at the warlord with a dark, wrathful expression.

At that moment, both Supremes focused their Wills upon the profane deity and for the first time in years, Vilgax shivered.

Max, on the other hand, did not waste words.

The moment he arrived, he reached into his vast Network and with a thought, he borrowed the regenerative ability of one of his most resilient subjects — a noble creature whose powers revolved around renewal. Golden-green energy flowed from his hand into George's broken body, rapidly closing the worst of the cracks and rejuvenating his soul essence.

George gave a silent nod of gratitude, after all no words were needed between fellow supremes. Their Wills brushed against each other in perfect understanding and harmony.

So, while George turned toward Vilgax, Max focused on the endless swarm of Chimera Sui Generis that survived George's attack.

Invisible threads — created by Max's Dormant Ability [Network] — shot out from Max's soul. These were not physical, instead they were spiritual connections, delicate yet unbreakable, latching onto the very spirits of the spawned minions. The strain was immediate and immense, causing the waters of Max's soul sea to shake violently.

Connecting to a Cursed Tyrant and his progeny felt like trying to thread a needle through a raging storm.

Still, Max endured, marking hundreds of minions, vilgax himself and even George.

With that, max activated his ascended ability, [Shared Burden] and the next wave of attacks meant for George, was redirected through the threads. Hundreds of destructive beams and tentacles that were supposed to strike the Supreme were suddenly turned against their own master.

Vilgax roared in fury as his own minions wounded him.

At the same time, George closed his eyes, filling the cold space around him.

And when he opened them next, something changed.

His Transcendent Ability manifested. His body expanded rapidly into a colossal angelic figure and Smooth, pure white flesh covered his gigantic form, weaving a second mass of flesh for the ancient supreme.

At the same time, seven harrowing wings sprouted behind him, radiating terrifying pressure. A golden-white halo floated above his head like a crown, no doubt his ascended ability.

His face became an black void, broken only by three glowing white eyes, with no mouth, nose or ears. In his hands, Ascalon transformed as well, becoming a blazing blade made entirely of condensed golden light.

In this form, George's presence alone warped the battlefield.

He raised the radiant blade and unleashed a fury of light beams and when Vilgax defended himself with a dense wall of his cursed will, George simply shifted targets, raining devastating beams upon the swarm of minions instead, vaporizing thousands in seconds which caused vilgax to share the pain and the damage.

Max on the other hand was a ghost, Using [Thread Step], he teleported instantly between marked minions, never staying in one place long enough for Vilgax to pin him down. He didn't destroy all of the minions, instead he kept a few so he could use them.

Every time one attacked, Max redirected the force through the spiritual threads straight into Vilgax, and everytime George was attacked, he redirected the strike into vilgax.

Slowly but surely, Max's threads dug deeper into Vilgax's spirit. Each connection weakened the cursed tyrant's Will. After all, Max ascended ability was not simply transferring damage to the soul, instead it targeted the spirit. The spirit was the will of a creature and so, max was weakening vilgax will with each strike.

Vilgax's movements grew slightly heavier and slowly, the world started to shift in the two supremes favor, bending to their will instead of the profane god.

Then Max made his final move.

He reached reached deep into his Domain once more, touching upon one of the noble creatures connected to his vast Network — a being from the Galilean race. (gravattack)

Supreme essence surged into his body, augmenting him even further.

In the next instant, Max underwent a dramatic transformation. His form swelled rapidly, growing into a massive, planet like appearance. He became a large, bulky, reddish-brown alien with rocky skin. His face rested on his torso, featuring a giant mouth lined with jagged rock-like teeth and a molten lava core burning brightly at the center of his body. Black shorts with green stripes materialized around his lower half, his plumber armor, completing the transformation.

For a brief moment, Max smiled.

He was reminded of his grandson and his bizzare Transformations...

But he did not dwell on the nostalgia, as this was not the time for it.

As a Galilean, Max exerted his authority over gravity. For the first time in this battle, true gravity manifested in the emptiness of space — a force empowered and shaped by Max's own will.

Because his Will revolved around connection and attraction, it resonated perfectly with the Galilean's power. Some of his Galilean friends had once joked that he was wasted as a human and that he would have made an exceptional member of their race which was the greatest sign of friendship among noble creatures.

An invisible, crushing force spread outward from Max's body. The remaining swarm of Chimera Sui Generis was suddenly pulled inward with terrifying strength and space itself seemed to warp and compress around them, creating a ring of green squid creatures.

Their bodies cracked and crumpled under the immense pressure as they were dragged helplessly toward Vilgax, their creator.

The gravitational field did not stop at their flesh either, instead It pressed into their souls, and through the spiritual threads Max had already embedded in them, the crushing force reached Vilgax himself. There was no escape, No distance and no defense against a force that attacked both body, soul and Spirit at once.

Vilgax's colossal form trembled as the pressure bore down on him, threatening to collapse even his cursed Tyrant body.

At the exact same moment, George unleashed another terrifying beam of golden light directly towards Vilgax, carrying the sacred power of Ascalon.

Two catastrophic attacks converged upon the cursed tyrant, one direct and one transferred through the spiritual connection of his own minion.

Vilgax's eyes widened in realization, but it was already too late. Even his profane soul could no longer withstand the combined assault of two powerful Supremes.

For a moment, it seemed as though victory was at hand — that the cursed tyrant would finally be destroyed.

——————

Back on Earth, Ben and Hugo were locked in a savage tangle of punches, kicks, and bites atop the cold, broken landscape that was once South Dakota.

Not far away, the Supreme Dragon had finally cornered the last Forever King — the Seat Holder of Beast.

It was somewhat ironic. The final king to fall was the one representing the Goddess of Beasts, slain in the realm of the Goddess of beasts herself.

The Supreme Dragon did not care for irony though.

He was finally going to destroy the last remnant of the organization that had imprisoned him for centuries and killed numerous members of his race. His massive claw pinned the writhing Forever King to the ground and his supreme will pushed against him. The king's worm-like transformation had already collapsed, leaving him in his broken human form.

His eyes were empty… yet a faint, peaceful smile lingered on his face.

Something wasn't right. What could he possibly be happy about? His organization was nearly destroyed and the supreme humans were nearly done with their profane deity...

So, why was he smiling?

As a Supreme, the dragon possessed an instinctive sense granted by his will, one that was granted by the gods that created his race and that instinct was screaming at him warning him that killing this creature would bring dire consequences.

With a low snort, the Supreme Dragon retracted his claw, being old and wise.

In that instant, the wicked smile across the Seat Holder of Beast's face suddenly changed into something else, sending a chill down the dragon's spine.

"Praise Dagon."

With those final words, the last Forever King brought his broken hands to his head and snapped his own neck.

That was how the final Forever King met his end.

——————

Vilgax, having reverted to his original form, crashed onto the surface of the Moon — broken, bleeding and on the verge of death.

Even a profane deity could be brought to his knees.

But at the end, vilgax could only think of one thing. His life... Specifically the choices he had made, ones that he had done for his people or so he claimed, once a long time ago.

'Perhaps you were right, Azmuth… perhaps I never did it to save my people. That was only a justification for my endless conquest.'

How poetic, that the Conqueror of Worlds has been conquered.

The two Supreme humans descended upon him, bringing the full wrath of their wills on his broken vessel.

But then… something changed.

Deep within Vilgax's soul, where the Hands of Armageddon resided, a seventh light finally ignited.

The seven souls of the Forever Kings — each killed in horrific fashion — had finally returned to where they belonged.

An explosion of pitch-black essence erupted from Vilgax's body, originating from the deepest parts of his soul. His body, soul, and spirit tore open, becoming a living catalyst for the Hands of Armageddon.

The seven lights within the stone tablet spun violently as Vilgax's consciousness was devoured in an instant.

A bizarre, unholy ritual began, one that was bound to bring doom upon this realm.

The world suddenly started to crack like glass, and a gigantic wound-like gate tore open in reality, releasing unimaginable corruption into the realm and with it, the seeds of nightmare.

Max was nearly blown away by the shockwave, nearly driven mad by the seeds of corruption. .

George, on the other hand, wore a look of pure horror.

"No!"

He raised Ascalon, disregarding all caution. In a final act of desperation, he unleashed the full divine power of the blade, burning away the remainder of his Supreme lifespan and vitality in a single strike.

Ascalon grew blindingly bright and George's seven wings spread wide, overlapping with the stars themselves as he temporarily wielded the full power of a divine weapon.

One strike, one strike was all he had.

He launched forward and swung with everything, his soul, his body, his memories and his history, aiming to seal the tear in reality.

A colossal arc of golden light shot toward the wound, carrying the weight of a supreme.

But it failed.

An insidious, incomprehensible will reached out from beyond the gate and swallowed the divine attack whole, like a leech devouring light itself.

At the same time, that Will turned its gaze upon George and Max.

They, with their supreme minds, comprehended it or rather only Max did.

George's Transcendent form crumbled into dust revealing his frail human body...

He was already dead. Nothing remained of the ancient supreme.

no soul, no spirit, not even a shadow. All of it had been erased and so, he crumbled into dust

Ascalon floated in the void for a moment, desperately trying to resurrect its wielder… untill the blade realized it was pointless, falling silently toward Earth like a Metroid.

Max could only watch in horror as the crack in reality widened... tears streamed down his face as his mighty will suddenly felt like nothing more than the tantrum of a child.

Countless tentacles — far more horrifying, vast and chaotic than Vilgax's — began to emerge, creeping into reality like a Parasite.

And Max saw it fully.

It was a giant green squid-like being, with far too many tentacles that seemed infinite, that were infinite. Its size easily dwarfed the Moon, threatening to swallow the Earth whole, breaking all physics.

It was divine.

It was unholy.

It was beautiful.

It was terrifying.

Incomprehensible. Infinite, Beyond the concepts of this world.

A true Unholy Terror. A herald of the Void.

So, what would happen if someone comprehended the incompréhensible?

The answer was quite simple, it was madness.

And so, Max went mad.

——————

On Earth, every living being gazed up at the sky. the animals, the insects, the fish in the oceans, and even the countless germs scattered across every corner of the planet.

The humans and noble creatures who had been evacuating into the Dream Realm all stared upward with expressions of rapturous joy.

They cried.

They didn't understand why they were crying, yet the tears would not stop. They wept and laughed at the same time, gazing upon their god with pure devotion.

Then, as one, they prostrated themselves. Regardless of religion, race or identity, every creature knelt before their unholy patron.

And as they did, seeds of corruption sprouted within their souls.

The Nightmare Spell tried its best, plunging billions of people into their nightmares… but it was too late. It was stretched far too thin and wholly unprepared for this horrific event. This corruption was far more potent than anything born from the Dream Realm, and so, the greatest masterpiece of the Daemon of Fate failed.

The Divine Realm of Beast was rapidly turning into a realm of corruption, now ruled by a true living god. The Children of Beast had become exactly what their name suggested — nothing but feral beasts. Not beasts of divinity, nor natural beasts but beasts of corruption...

If the Goddess of Beasts could look up from her grave and see her realm now, she would wear a look of pure horror at the fate of her once-beloved domain.

—————

Far away, the Supreme Dragon stared at the corpse of the Forever King, then at the sky.

It trembled in fear.

What had it done…?

It did not know how, nor why, but it knew with absolute certainty that the death of the Forever King had been the catalyst for all of this.

Regret, sorrow and unbearable pain flooded its ancient heart.

It had just doomed existence itself...

—————

Ben and Hugo, still tangled in their fierce struggle, suddenly broke apart with hugo delivering a powerful punch to Ben's face, knocking him back.

But neither of them continued fighting after that instead they both looked up at the sky… and screamed.

Unlike the rest of humanity, their Omnitricies protected them from direct mind attacks, so they did not become mindless thralls like everyone else. However, they were not powerful enough to resist the will like the Supreme beings...

Because of this protection, they were instead exposed to the full, unfiltered will of an Unholy Terror.

Thousands of seeds of corruption sprouted within their once-pristine souls.

That was how Dagon, an Unholy Terror, descended upon the Realm of Beast… and began to consume everything.

Author's note:

Hello! Missed you guys. Thank you for the support and love you've been showing me, and I hope this small gift (4 chapters over 2000k words) is enough to satisfy you for a while.

I want to add a small summery of the second nightmare, regarding the most important events:

1- the forever knights worshipped dagon, an unholy terror. This was hinted and referenced multiple times

2- vilgax apotheosis was bizzare and unnatural but not incomplete. He is as powerful as all other cursed ones

3- Omnitricies= correct term for multiple omntrixes

4- max can use the Abilities of all his domains, that's his supreme ability. The reason he transformed fully was because of the fact that his supreme ability has two stages:

1- he can use the ability partially

2- assume the form of that subject to use their powers fully.

5- master control= not master control from the show. This master control grants longer timer during transformation, full access to the omnitrix system, the database (information) and full control over the omnitrix + new features. It doesn't grant unlimited timer and also, Hugo still has to conquer pseudo trials to unlock new imprints from his aspect legacy.

6- ben still has the orignal omnitrix, he just modified it to gain the ultimate function

7- Ascalon is not as smart as the omnitrix but it's not completely soulless.

8- the hands of Armageddon were mentioned before, and with each death of the forver kings, a light appeared on them (shown before briefly):

1- forever king of war and sun= killed by ben

2- forever king of nightmare= killed by Hugo

3- forever king of heart= killed by ben

4-, forever kings of storm and shadow= killed by Hugo

5- forever king of beast= suicide.

9- forever kings are incomplete void creatures. Vilgax is too, but the kings are intentionally more precious as they are the fuel for the hands of Armageddon.

10- lord asterion
