Noah stepped forward, he unsheathed his sword and pointed the blade forward.
'Alright… who's first?'"
One man screamed and ran at Noah.
Shing!.
The man's head dropped into the sand.
His body fell right after.
Blood sprayed onto Noah's shirt.
"I don't think that's coming out now… great, I'll need to buy a new shirt. And I really liked this one," Noah said, clearly upset.
"He can't be serious," Amy whispered. "He just decapitated a man, and he's worried about his shirt? What kind of monster is he?"
Noah slowly turned toward her. "I'm not a monster," he said calmly.
He pointed his sword at the group of men rushing toward him.
"They are."
A man rushed at him with a spear. Noah stepped to the side and cut straight through the man's chest.
A deep red line burst open. The man collapsed, twitching.
Two more charged from the left. Noah swings his sword.
Noah swings his sword horizontally, cutting straight through the men charging at him
Both bodies split open across the stomach. Their guts spilled out onto the sand.
Emma quickly covered Amy's eyes. "Don't look. That looks disgusting."
Noah wiped his blade on the headless man shirt and sighed. "How boring," he said.
He pointed his sword at them. "Come on, at least pretend you're a challenge."
He shrugged. "If this is the best you've got, I'm asking for a refund."
More men yelled and charged in a group.
Noah walked towards them, meeting them head on.
One man tried to stab him. Noah knocked the blade aside and slid his sword across the man's throat.
Blood poured out.
Another man swings a heavy axe.
Noah ducks and swings his sword, cutting the man's leg off.
The man screams and falls over. Noah stabs him in the back.
Three more man attack. Noah slash one across the chest, the wound was so deep the man's ribcage started to shows.
The second man tries to run. Noah grabs him by the shirt and stabs him through the spine.
He drops instantly.
The third froze in fear.
He held up his hands.
"No— wai—"
Slash!
His head drop to the ground.
More blood spread across the beach, staining everything dark red.
A guard launched at Noah swinging a giant sword.
Noah stepped forward, slashing faster than the speed of light.
The man fell to his knees, trying to hold his guts from falling out of his stomach.
"Sorry for cutting out your intestines," Noah said, before removing the man's head.
Another man comes up from behind.
Noah spins and stabs him without looking.
The blade pierces the man's heart, and he collapses onto the sand.
Some of the others panic and decided to flee.
Emma charges after them.
"Don't run!" she yelled.
slash!
slash!
slash!
One by one, they fell behind her.
Noah kept walking around.
Another man rushes at him with two daggers.
Noah swings and cuts off both of his arms with one swing of his sword.
The man screams and falls, blood spraying everywhere, Noah then drives his sword through the man's chest.
Five minutes later.
"That was fun," Noah said, wiping the blood off his sword.
Emma shakes her head, breathing hard. "Fun? Are you kidding me? You just butchered half the town."
Noah sheathed his sword and looks toward the forest.
"Alright, let's go to the Lower District." He said walking off.
Two hours later, they finally reached the Lower District.
Everyone smiled when they noticed Noah and the others.
"Everyone!" Noah yelled. "I need your help!"
Everyone gathered around him instantly.
"How can I help, Mister?" a little girl asked.
Noah crouched and patted her on the head. "You can help me by laughing." He tickled her, the little girl giggled.
Noah stood back up. "Okay, listen. I need your help."
"How can we help?" a man asked.
"I want you guys to start a riot in Riverside and Highcrest."
Everyone looked at Noah, nervous and scared.
"You'll be alright," Noah said. "Just cause some commotion. So… will you guys help us?"
Everyone nodded.
Noah grinned. "Okay, here's the plan. Emma will take some of you to Highcrest. Meanwhile, Amy will take the rest of you to Riverside.
Once you reach there, just shout and scream at people, or start random fights. Just don't get hurt. And if you do, I can always heal you guys up."
"What will we gain by doing all of this?" a man asked.
"You asked a wonderful question," Noah replied. "But I will not tell you, because the mayor has spies everywhere."
"I'm not a spy," the man said.
"That's what all spies say," Noah replied.
"And what will you be doing?" Emma asked.
"I'll be doing the dirtier work," Noah said with a grin.
"See you guys soon," Noah said, before vanishing.
Meanwhile, at the mayor's office…
"Everything is going as planned," the mayor said.
"I hope so," Grudge replied.
Suddenly, a scout burst into the office.
"I'm sorry, sir, but I've come with bad news," the scout said.
"Spit it out! What happened?" the mayor shouted, slamming his hand down.
"The ambush failed. Everyone is dead."
Grudge's eyes widened. "What? All my men are dead?" He got up from his seat. "This is unacceptable."
"Calm down," a voice said in a sinister tone.
"Everything will work out perfectly. And if it doesn't… well, we still have a few hostages."
"But what if he doesn't care about the hostages?" Grudge asked the mysterious man.
"And what makes you think that?" the mysterious man asked.
Grudge took out the wanted posters from his pocket and held them up.
The mayor's face turned blue. He slowly swallowed his spit.
"This Noah guy is worth 700,000,000 berries, and the girl is worth 250,000,000 berries. Together, they're worth 950,000,000 berries!" Grudge shouted.
The mysterious man got up. "Everyone bleeds the same," he said, before leaving the office.
