King Neptune lowered his voice, the tone turning grave.
"Some of the rebels who attacked us… have escaped from prison."
Emma's expression darkened.
Amy frowned.
Neptune continued,
"Our scouts believe they are gathering in the Coral District. If left alone… they will attack again."
Noah stretches his arm.
"Just tell us where they are."
Neptune pointed to a map.
"Here. But be cautious… they are numerous and desperate."
Noah smirked.
"Cautious? Yeah, I'll try."
Emma and Amy looked at each other already knowing he wouldn't.
Coral District .
The three walked into a quiet, eerie part of Fishman Island.
Amy whispered,
"It's too quiet…"
Emma nodded.
"Like something's watching us."
Noah stepped to the front confidently.
"HEY! Rebels! Can you guys come out so I can slaughter you?!"
Emma slapped the back of his head.
"NOAH! Be nice!"
Amy crossed her arms.
"Yeah. You're on an island full of people who are scared of you. You can't yell 'slaughter' like that."
Noah sighed dramatically.
"Fine, fine…"
He cleared his throat.
"REBELS! CAN YOU COME OUT SO I CAN SLAUGHTER YOU… IN A VERY NICE WAY?!"
Emma and Amy both facepalmed.
"That's not better!" Emma yelled.
"At all!" Amy added.
And then.
Footsteps.
Dozens.
Hundreds.
Then thousands.
From the shadows, across rooftops, behind coral walls… Fishmen and Merfolk stepped out wearing ragged armor.
"That's… a lot," Amy whispered.
"More than a lot," Emma replied. "That's a small army."
Over 2000 rebels surrounded them with weapons.
The leader, a massive shark-fishman, stepped forward.
"Humans… you dare challenge us?"
Noah didn't answer.
He simply closed his eyes.
And then.
The air shook.
SHAAA-THOOM!
A pressure heavier than the ocean itself exploded outward.
Emma gasped.
Amy staggered back.
The rebels' eyes rolled white.
Weapons shattered in their hands.
One by one.
Ten by ten.
Hundred by hundred.
They all collapsed.
The entire district fell silent.
Noah opened his eyes, a faint glow swirling inside them.
Ancient Haki: Will of the First King.
Emma took a step forward.
"What… was that?"
Amy held her head.
"I couldn't even breathe… Noah, how did you?"
Noah turned around and smiled.
"Training."
Emma narrowed her eyes.
"What kind of training?"
Amy crossed her arms.
"Seriously. Where did you learn that?"
Noah put a finger on his lips.
"That's a secret."
The three returned to the palace. King Neptune was waiting in the throne room, his trident resting at his side, eyes focused on the crew.
"Captain Noah," Neptune said, bowing slightly. "Your actions today have saved countless lives. Fishman Island owes you a great debt."
Noah shrugged modestly.
"All in a day's work, Your Majesty. The rebels are taken care of, but I suggest sending your guards to officially arrest them before they try anything else."
Emma rolled her eyes.
"You're impossible."
Amy smiled faintly.
"At least he didn't kill anyone."
Neptune waved a hand.
"If there's anything you want, please ask.."
Noah hold him chin.
"Your Majesty, could we get some supplies? Food, medicine … whatever you have."
King Neptune nodded, a faint smile on his face.
"Of course, Captain Noah. You and your crew have done Fishman Island a great service today."
Noah scratched the back of his head.
"Well… we did just stop 2,000 rebels, so I guess it's deserved."
"Not just stopping them… you captured them. Without a single casualty among our citizens. That is no small feat." Neptune replied.
Neptune waved a hand, motioning to his attendants.
"Take what you need. Supplies, food, and equipment for your journey will be ready. And know this, you will always be welcome here."
Noah grinned.
"Much appreciated, Your Majesty. We won't let you down… probably."
Emma groaned.
"Probably? Really?"
Amy just shook her head with a smile.
"Classic Noah."
After leaving the palace, Noah and the girls decided to explore the city.
"This place is incredible," Emma said.
Amy laughed.
"It's like nothing I've ever seen before."
Noah smirked.
"Yeah… it's kind of amazing. The way everything glows underwater."
They passed a café built inside a giant shell.
"Mermaid Café?" Amy whispered. "We have to check it out."
Inside, mermaids with colorful tails served tea and desserts made of sea plants and exotic fruits. Noah sat at a table, examining the menu with curiosity.
"I've never seen sea-cream before…" he muttered.
Emma smirked.
"Sea-cream? Seriously? You're going to eat something called sea-cream?"
Noah shrugged.
"Why not? It sounds delicious."
Amy giggled.
"Only you would call it 'delicious' without even trying it."
Emma leaned closer to Noah.
"Are you even going to try it, or just stare at it all day?"
Noah grinned.
"I'll try it… eventually. First, let's see what other desserts they have."
Amy tilted her head, examining a plate of shimmering coral jelly.
"I wonder if these are safe for humans…"
Emma snorted.
"Safe or not, Noah will eat anything."
Noah stuck out his tongue.
"Hey! I have standards!"
After hours of exploring, trying strange snacks, and wandering through the markets, the crew finally grew tired.
Amy stretched.
"I'm done. My legs feel like jelly."
Emma nodded.
"Same. We should find a place to stay before Noah collapses again.
Noah yawned loudly.
"Too late…"
They wandered through Fishman Island, searching for a place to stay. After a few minutes, Emma pointed ahead.
"Look...there," she said.
They walked inside. A round starfish fishman waddled up to greet them.
"Welcome! Rooms for three? Breakfast included!"
Noah blinked.
"…Why is the wall moving?"
A tiny starfish stuck to the wall waved.
"Hello!"
Noah jumped.
"Nope. I'm too tired for this."
Emma tugged his arm.
"Stop being dramatic."
The innkeeper handed them a key.
"Second floor! Enjoy your stay!"
They went up to the room.
The room had three beds and a big window.
Amy bounced on her bed.
"Wow, this is actually comfy."
Emma sank into hers.
"I'm not moving again after this."
Noah flopped face-first onto his bed.
"Goodnight."
Emma stared at him.
"…It's not even that late yet."
Noah was already asleep.
Amy giggled.
"He really doesn't waste time."
Emma smirked.
"He never does."
Amy sat cross-legged.
"You ever wonder why we follow him?"
Emma shrugged.
"All the time. But he's the only idiot who makes everything feel fun… even the dangerous stuff."
Amy smiled.
"Yeah… that's true."
They settled in.
Noah snored.
"💤… meat… give me… meat…"
Amy covered her mouth, laughing.
"He's dreaming about food again."
Emma whispered,
"He always does."
