Chapter 126 - Chapter 121: Hillside Stars

Noah returned to the hotel.

He stepped into his room through the broken wall, he looked at his crew, all three of them laying on the ground unconscious.

Noah placed a hand on the three of them.

"VectorManipulation- Flying Thunder God."

Blip⚡️

They were now on a quiet hillside.

Gass covered the ground and the night sky was full of stars.

Moments later

Emma moved, groaning softly.

"…My head…"

Alice rolled onto her side and yawned.

"Did we… fall asleep?"

Amy suddenly sat up, panic flashing across her face.

"You guys are finally awake," Noah said calmly.

All three girls turned toward him.

Emma rubbed her eyes.

"Noah…?"

Alice stretched and looked around.

"Where are we?" she asked, still half asleep.

Noah glanced around as well.

"I have no idea, just a random hillside."

Amy stood up and looked toward the city lights.

"…I guess that means we're camping."

Noah lay back on the grass, hands behind his head, staring up.

"It's beautiful out here."

The stars were bright, like they could fall at any moment.

Emma and Alice walked over and sat beside him.

For a while, none of them spoke. While the wind moved through the grass.

"So," Emma said,"what's the plan?"

Noah didn't look away from the sky.

"We defeat the ones hunting us. The rabbit guy said he was just a test."

Alice frowned.

"A test… from who?"

"I'm not sure but if i had to guess it would be people from the world government," Noah replied.

Amy hugged her knees.

"And what about this country?. What's going to happen to the people here… will we help them?"

Noah turned his head toward her.

"Don't worry, the people of this country will be free again."

Amy nodded.

Noah sat up slowly.

"That being said, you guys are losing way too many fights."

Emma and Amy stiffened.

"…Sorry," they said at the same time.

Alice lowered her head and nodded as well.

"You need to learn how to use your Haki better," Noah said.

Emma hesitated.

"But Captain… not all of us can use that Haki you used earlier."

Noah smiled faintly.

"You're right. I do have an advantage."

He stood up and picked up his sword.

"Which is why, tonight I'm teaching you how to use Armament Haki to its fullest." Noah said.

The girls looked at each other.

"…Tonight?" Emma asked.

"Yes," Noah replied.

He stepped forward and took a stance.

"Watch and learn."

Noah closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Advanced Armament Haki."

Dark red energy spread from his hands, flowing along the blade.

The sword hummed.

The pressure in the air became heavy.

"Watch closely," Noah said.

Quick draw.

His sword left its sheath in a single motion.

A flash of dark red cut through the night.

The ground in front of him split open—stone, dirt, and grass destroyed in a wide path, like something massive had clawed through it.

The echo rolled across the hills.

Noah sheathed his sword again and lay back down like nothing happened.

"I want you three to practice all night, and That's an order." Noah said.

The girls stared at the destroyed ground.

Then groaned.

"All night…?" Emma muttered.

Amy sighed.

"You're cruel."

Alice clenched her spare.

"…But we'll do it."

And so they trained.

Again.

And again.

While Noah slept under the stars.

■■■■ MEANWHILE ELSEWHERE ■■■■

A lively room filled with laughter and noise.

"Guess who I saw today when I went shopping," a voice said.

"Who? Who?" another voice replied eagerly.

"Noah."

"WHAT?!" someone shouted.

"Noah is here too?!" another voice laughed.

"Calm down," the first voice said.

"Luffy, I know you haven't seen Noah since that incident."

Luffy leaned forward, eyes shining.

"Noah… I can't wait to see you!"

Brook tilted his head.

"Yohoho~ Who is this Noah fellow that makes Captain Luffy so happy?"

Sanji exhaled smoke slowly.

"Robin, you explain."

Robin smiled softly.

"Noah is one of our closest friends, and he's even more dangerous than Luffy."

"HE IS?!" Brook shouted.

Nami smacked him on the head.

"He is, and his bounty is one billion." Nami said.

"WHAAAAAAT?!" Brook screamed

The door slid open.
