In the quiet house, the woman in the mask received a call from someone.
Caller: "Hey! How dare you attend the meeting?"
After hearing the person speak, she laughed and said, "It was an allowed permission. Watch your attitude, even if you are only one rank higher than me. But regarding what you ordered to do to my person, as your subordinate, I will pretend not to see it this time. But if there is a next time, I won't dare to pretend not to see it."
A sarcastic laugh came from the phone, followed by the sound of something being smashed. The person seemed angry with her. She then whined a little, "I will definitely pay you back one day." Woman in Mask: "I dare you not to!" She replied, then hung up the phone and went to take a shower and clean herself. We could only see her slender body, her beautiful bare shoulders, with long straight hair falling below the water running over her head.
That night didn't last long. Even though the sky was still starless, it didn't mean it had to rain.
Ah! What should I do? I don't know his house! I don't even know his phone number, and he didn't accept my Facebook friend request, and my chat messages aren't going through. Does this person dare to try and escape?
Suddenly, her phone showed a new Facebook friend request. "Oh! Coincidence or miracle?" Without delay, she accepted it. The account belonged to Sina, the Class President of 11C. A message popped up: Ding!
"Senior, hello. Do you remember me? I'm Sina, the Class President of 11C."
Kan was a little surprised but pleased. She asked Sina back, "Why do you suddenly know me, add me as a friend, and even chat with me?"
"Oh, I want to take a book back to Ree, but in my class, I'm not close with anyone, and I need someone to go with me. So, I thought of you, Senior. So, I chatted with you. Can you go with me?" kan thought Sina didn't seem very good at making excuses, or did she already know kan would agree?
It seemed both of them needed the other person because one knew the other needed it, and they also wanted and needed the same thing. So, asking was the right decision.
Sina was dressed in loose-fitting jeans, a short-sleeved white shirt with a scoop neck inside, and a dark green jacket, carrying a backpack and holding Ree's book. Before the break, Ree and other students had been cleaning the outside area. Sina had gone to take a photo of Ree's desk and took Ree's book. She also had an excuse ready for the homeroom teacher. Later, when her teacher came to school and her class was on duty, she took the book to the office.
"Teacher, I borrowed Ree's book a long time ago and forgot to return it. I want to give it back to him and also visit him because he has cut off contact. I also want to talk to him to make him understand."
The homeroom teacher looked at her strangely because Sina never interfered with other people's personal matters. she only did a good job as a class president. But this time, it seemed strange. However, the teacher didn't forbid it, but was happy that she had the empathy to visit a classmate, so Ree wouldn't feel alone.
Teacher smiled and nodded "That's good thinking, but what do you need?" "Yes, I don't know his address." "Sina! Why are you worried? You can check his profile. Aren't you the class president?" "Yes, thank you, Teacher, but I came to ask for your permission first."
The teacher smiled, pleased, and pointed to the cabinet. She could go and look. She also asked her to send his regards to Ree. In fact, even if Ree had been present today, she had no intention of giving the book to him. She would let him search for it. And when he didn't come to school, she would use that as an excuse to ask the teacher. Even if she hadn't gotten permission from the teacher, she could have found the address, but she needed the teacher's permission as necessary.
"Oh! Senior, over here." Sina stood and called kan near the bus stop. The two got on the bus, both with goals in mind.
Kan, having restrained herself from asking and wondering for a long time, sighed. "Senior, do you have something you want to ask?" "Huh? Oh," she sighed again, then asked, "Why did you know I was looking for Ree's house?"
Sina smiled and said, "Since Senior asked, I won't hide it either. I understood that Senior definitely wants to know clearly about Ree for one thing, and I also need to go to Ree's house." kan nodded, understanding, but thought it wasn't just that.
After a moment, the bus stopped. The scenery was beautiful, and the afternoon breeze of summer brought the scent of the sea. Kan didn't expect Ree's house to be so far from the school. Sina checked her phone for the location. Suddenly, she said, "We've arrived."
In front of them was a luxurious wooden Khmer-style house with Khmer roof designs but somewhat like a European house with a porch. Looking from the outside, there was a large fence. "Are you sure this is his house?" Sina nodded, looking at her phone. While doing so, she rang the doorbell.
Not long after, an old woman, old but not weak, with bright, healthy skin, came out to open the door. Grandmother: "You two?" "Yes, I am sovan Ree's classmate. We came to see him today to return a book and ask to meet him for a bit."
Seeing the elderly woman thinking, they looked at each other. Kan asked softly, "Did we come to the wrong house?" "No mistake! Please come inside first."
They went inside as instructed by the Grandmother. The house was truly large. The elderly Grandmother went to get them freshly squeezed orange juice. She had asked them to wait for her on the sofa, but seeing them busy looking around the house because it was beautiful, she didn't stop them from looking. Kan and Sina felt that since they were guests, they shouldn't sit comfortably and let an elderly person bring fruit juice. Suddenly, seeing the Grandmother walking towards them, they both hurried to help take the juice from her hands. Kan found the orange juice so appealing that she wanted to drink it immediately. The Grandmother asked them to sit, but kan drank while standing. The Grandmother chuckled, finding them stubborn but lovable. Sina asked the Grandmother to sit down first.
Suddenly, someone came down and said, "She needs to break her leg before she learns to sit!" kan choked a little upon hearing this. The Grandmother came to check on her. In her head, kan thought the voice sounded familiar. When she turned, it was… Hav, walking down the stairs while looking at his phone, not looking at her. She immediately sat down, her eyes staring at him. Does he like breaking people's legs so much? As she quietly complained, she met Hav's sharp gaze. He went to the kitchen to get water and sat down to eat for a bit. He seemed to care about no one. Didn't he see the Grandmother? He really has no manners! Kan criticized him in her thought.
The Grandmother told them they had come at the wrong time, because Ree went to Siem Reap this morning to visit his grandmother. He would only return close to the start of school.
Seeing that no one in this house knew what Ree had done, why hadn't the teacher called to inform them? Knowing this, kan was about to say something but was stopped by Sina in time. She thanked the Grandmother and gave the book to her to pass on to Ree. Seeing Kaan's somewhat dissatisfied expression, the Grandmother asked, "Is there something important you must talk to him about?"
A voice inter"upt'd, "Don't worry, Grandmother. She just likes to look for people and question them!" Kaan was extremely annoyed. "Do you two know each other?" kan, who had been trying to smile to mask her feelings, was about to answer but was interrupted by Hav immediately. "Oh, she is a Senior who isn't careful with her own legs and only looks for trouble and falls down." The Grandmother heard this and laughed, saying it was good they knew each other. She then introduced herself, saying that both Hav and Ree are her grandchildren. Kan smiled and said, "Hav is only in 11th grade but doesn't seem to respect me as a Senior, unlike Ree." The Grandmother smiled back and said she would discipline Hav. Kan seemed quite pleased, and then they bid the Grandmother farewell and left.
On the way, Sina didn't say anything, seeming slightly dissatisfied too. They parted ways, with kan going home and Sina taking another bus.
When the bus stopped, she suddenly saw Sara and tuna. They had entered a shop. Based on Sina's past observations, she was sure that tuna was usually bullied by Sara's group like a servant, but what was happening today? She suddenly saw them being normal. They were talking in the shop, and Sina stood watching from outside. She suddenly saw tuna sitting cross-legged, resting her chin on the table. Her hair was straight and beautiful, more so than usual. She was smiling, and her face was neutral, while Sara seemed to be explaining something to the person sitting opposite her. Sara was about to turn, and if she did, she would have seen Sina, but tuna quickly grabbed her hand and seemed to say something. But Sara angrily pulled her hand away and walked outside. Sina didn't hide herself either.
"Oh! Sara?" "hm, Class President?" "Why are you standing outside?" she said, but she turned to look at tuna. The two waved hello to each other, and Tuna stood up and bowed, seemingly showing politeness. Her behavior seemed strange to Sina. Sara invited Sina inside, and she didn't refuse.
Tuna tucked her hair behind her ear, showing a beauty that no one had ever seen. "What happened to you two? Sara seems angry!" tuna spoke with a gentle expression: "It's nothing big, just a disappointment in friendship. I didn't have time for Sara for New Year's. She wanted me to go out with her, but I was busy that day." Sara nodded. Sina nodded slightly. Suddenly, her phone rang. After speaking, she apologized with a smile and left them first because she had an appointment. They stood up and smiled as they said goodbye to her.
On the way, Sina laughed sarcastically. "This wicked girl is so good at acting." Meanwhile, tuna and Sara also separated. It seemed they had finished talking about some things.
