Chapter 190 - Spiritual Crystallization

"What's wrong with you? You've been standing at the door without moving."

Behind him, the Seer asked.

Lex looked back at him. "Didn't you see it?"

Kaven looked bewildered. "See what?"

Lex briefly described the scene he had just witnessed, and the Seer shook his head. "I didn't see it."

"That's strange. Why was I the only one who saw it?"

Lex walked into the bedroom, looking around. "Also, where's Kaliena's spirit? It's not here?"

Kaven walked towards the wedding dress and casually said, "If it's not here, where else would it be?"

The two suddenly paused, then simultaneously exclaimed, "Isabella!"

Tingen City, Golden Banyan District.

Isabella was sound asleep when she suddenly felt a chill. She groggily opened her eyes and realized that the gas lamp in the room had, at some point, turned a ghostly blue!

In this eerie cold light, she saw her quilt propped up, as if there was another person inside!

Tap, tap, tap—

Isabella's teeth chattered, her breathing was rapid, and her heart pounded incessantly, as if it would leap into her throat.

She stretched out a trembling hand, gently grasped the quilt, and then suddenly pulled it back with force!

The moment the quilt was thrown off, Isabella saw a white shadow lying on her. When she saw it clearly, she immediately screamed.

A wedding dress.

A white wedding dress with bloodstains on the chest was lying on her.

It was as if an invisible person was inside the wedding dress, making it stand up. When she screamed, the wedding dress suddenly wrapped around Isabella.

It enveloped the Miss's body, tightening continuously, constricting Isabella to the point of almost suffocating.

She struggled desperately, but no matter what, she couldn't break free.

She only heard a woman's voice coming from inside the wedding dress, repeatedly shouting, "Put it on, put it on, put it on!"

Soon, Isabella's consciousness began to blur, but then, she suddenly saw a fire light up before her, and the voice that had been repeating the same phrase let out a scream.

Whoosh—

Isabella could breathe fresh air again. She gasped and rolled off the bed, only to see the wedding dress burning with illusory flames.

The wedding dress twisted on the bed, seemingly trying to extinguish the flames, but eventually, it turned into a fireball.

A knock suddenly sounded, and her father Malz's voice came from outside the door. "Isabella, are you alright?"

The Miss struggled to get up from the floor and opened the door, but when she looked back, the burning wedding dress was gone.

Kariena Manor.

Looking at the wedding dress burning in the brazier on the floor, Lex glanced at the Seer beside him. "Are you sure this will work?"

Kaven answered honestly, "I'm not sure, but I can confirm that this wedding dress is some kind of important medium. The illusion you saw, and what Isabella saw, are all related to this wedding dress."

"So I think burning it might help."

No sooner had he finished speaking than the originally orange-yellow flames in the brazier suddenly turned a ghostly blue. Then, a whirlwind rose from the brazier, scattering sparks and knocking the wedding dress to the ground, and the flames on the wedding dress had disappeared.

Lex was stunned, and then, out of the corner of his eye, next to the dressing table, he saw a woman.

She seemed to be one with the shadows. She hung her head, and from her disheveled hair, her eyes, filled with resentment, stared at Lex.

A dagger was still plunged into her abdomen, and blood was still seeping from between the dagger and dripping onto the floor.

Kaliena had arrived!

As deep red gradually surged in her eyes, Kaliena moved her neck and body with stiff movements, making a 'clack, clack, clack' sound like old machinery restarting. Her ten fingers, their nails began to lengthen and curve, and became stained with a dense black.

She suddenly pounced, emitting a silent scream that pierced the brain!

At the same time, Lex sharply turned to face her, directly confronting her, and the greatsword, with an Aura that seemed to cleave heaven and earth, powerfully slashed down towards this resentful spirit.

Suddenly.

The top of the bedroom lit up.

A thick, pure, and blazing Light instantly descended, falling upon Kaliena and completely enveloping her.

It was as if daylight had arrived in the bedroom; it not only illuminated the entire room but also penetrated the floor and reached the living room.

In the Sacred Light, the ghostly shadows in the living room gradually faded, purified in the Light.

This was the Sequence 5 Priest of Light's 'Sacred Light'!

In this Light, wreathed in golden flames, black spirituality floated out of Kaliena's body. As soon as they left the girl's body, Kaliena returned to her beautiful appearance from when she was alive.

Her black, curved nails shattered inch by inch, her hair regained its luster, the dagger and blood in her abdomen were disappearing, and her face was pure and beautiful.

The Miss in the golden Holy Light looked longingly at the wedding dress on the floor. She couldn't help but close her eyes, and a string of clear tears welled up from the corners of her eyes and dripped down.

Finally, Kaliena's figure gradually became transparent in the Light, dissipating into the air like an illusion.

As for the wedding dress, at the bloodstain on the chest, illusory, golden flames suddenly ignited.

By the time the 'Sacred Light' disappeared, the bloodstains on the wedding dress had completely vanished.

And not far from this wedding dress, Lex found a crystal-clear bead, which was condensed from Kaliena's tears.

Lex picked up the bead. "What is this?"

"This is a Spiritual Crystal. Spirits have a chance to leave behind such crystals after being purified. I remember a book saying that they seem to be some kind of auxiliary materials."

The more knowledgeable Seer immediately provided the answer.

Spiritual Crystal!

Lex immediately thought of the 'spirit world treasure chest'. Didn't he need 'Spiritual Crystals' to create that kind of Spirit Realm creature?

Great, I can create a 'spirit world treasure chest' now!

At this moment, the clouds in the night sky began to dissipate, and the crimson moonlight shone through the window. After Kaliena's spirit was purified, the manor no longer had its previous gloomy atmosphere, but instead became peaceful and serene.

The next day.

Golden Banyan District, banker Malz's residence.

"Everything is fine now," Lex told the banker with a confident tone.

Malz looked at his daughter beside him with some disbelief. "Really? My Isabella has recovered her health?"

"Yes, if you don't believe me, you can ask this beautiful Miss next to you." Lex glanced at the blonde Miss. He had just told Isabella the story of Kaliena and informed her that the unfortunate girl had been purified and would no longer haunt her.

This made Isabella happy, yet she also shed sympathetic tears for Kaliena's plight, but no matter what, the fact that she would no longer be haunted by a spirit was indeed something to be happy about.

"I feel very good now, Father. Just as this gentleman said, I have recovered my health." Since Malz did not believe in ghosts, Isabella followed Lex's advice and did not mention Kaliena at all.

Seeing his daughter's rosy complexion, which was indeed very different from before, Malz completely relaxed. "That's great, your Eiros Company is truly capable. I will settle the commission in the next day or two, and if I have any difficulties in the future, I will still come to you."

"Thank you for your trust. Well then, I will take my leave."

Malz nodded and said to his wife, "Lucia, please see our guest out. Isabella and I have something to discuss."

"Alright."

The young noblewoman stood up and escorted Lex to the door, quietly saying, "You are very strong. Even the carpenter said the wooden door you kicked down cannot be repaired."

Lex said awkwardly, "I'm sorry, Madam, I didn't mean to."

The noblewoman Lucia covered her mouth and chuckled. "I can imagine you must be very brave on some battlefield."

Lex was stunned, then saw the noblewoman, as she approached him, quickly slip something into his pocket, and then meaningfully said, "I am an Intis person. In our country, men like you are very popular."

"If you have the chance, you should visit Intis."

With that, she waved goodbye.

After leaving the banker's house, Lex took out the item from his pocket; it was a note.

On it was a line of text: Every Saturday evening, Malz goes fishing and doesn't return until Sunday evening. We have a whole day. Come find me.

There was also a seductive lip print on the paper.

Lex gasped.

As expected of Intis, it's too open-minded!
