Upon hearing Tracy's question, Lex's thoughts raced, one after another, uncontrollably.
The Vice Admiral of Ailment wants to hunt Senor; she wants to expand her influence on the Sea?
The Witch Sect and the Rose School of Thought are not on good terms? They are enemies?
This is indeed a good opportunity, because after his previous actions, Senor lost several Captains and pirate ships, suffering heavy losses in strength.
If he cooperates with Tracy, there might truly be a chance to kill the Blood Admiral.
Lex couldn't help but look at the Iceberg Admiral, and then he suddenly thought of another question: Could Tracy be testing Edwina? If the Captain agreed, the Vice Admiral of Ailment might think Edwina wasn't strong enough.
Perhaps, before hunting Senor, she would first deal with the Golden Dream.
And the three of them were currently guests on the Black Death, a rather unfavorable situation.
Even if Danitz and the others believed Tracy had feelings for the Iceberg Admiral, in the face of profit, even father and son could turn against each other, let alone a mere object of admiration?
Edwina didn't answer immediately. She slowly took a sip of tea before saying, "I don't like cooperating with others. If I'm going to deal with Senor, I'll find a way myself."
The expression in Tracy's eyes flickered several times, then she leaned back in her chair, which caused the patterns on her shirt to shift, finally outlining lines that made one's heart race.
"Is that so? What a pity. But then again, you are more interested in Treasure Trove, after all."
"Speaking of Treasure Trove, I recently heard that Emperor Roselle once created some magical cards, and those things contained the secrets of becoming a god."
The Iceberg Admiral looked at Tracy opposite her with clear eyes and said concisely, "blasphemy card?"
"Yes, it seems you know about it too."
Tracy's eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze ambiguous: "I happen to know a clue to one of those blasphemy cards. If you're interested, I can tell you."
"No need."
"I don't want to obtain such things; they only bring disaster."
Edwina answered almost without thinking, and put down her teacup: "The tea is finished. Thank you for your hospitality."
She stood up and nodded slightly: "I'll take my leave."
Tracy's mouth opened slightly, clearly not expecting the Iceberg Admiral to leave so abruptly. While she was momentarily stunned, Edwina had already led Lex and the other person out of the Captain's Cabin.
As the door opened, Lex's heart immediately tightened. Outside the Captain's Cabin, including Mithor the Wormtongue, several of the ship's great pirates were either squatting on the ground or leaning against the wall.
Seeing the Iceberg Admiral and the two others emerge, everyone's faces were unfriendly, their gazes flickering.
At this moment, Tracy's voice sounded from inside the Captain's Cabin: "See Captain Edwina off the ship."
Only then did the blonde maid come out, a smile on her face, greatly easing the atmosphere in the corridor.
A moment later, Lex re-boarded the deck of the Golden Dream, watching the Black Death depart with Edwina.
It wasn't until the Black Death became a tiny speck between the Sea and sky that Edwina softly said, "It's alright now."
She offered no explanation or guidance regarding the previous conversation in the Captain's Cabin, gently turned, and left the deck.
Once the Captain left, the other pirates also dispersed. Danitz, however, sidled over and pulled Lex aside: "What did the Vice Admiral of Ailment say?"
"She wanted to team up with the Captain to hunt the Blood Admiral, and she also wanted to sell the Captain a Treasure Trove clue, but the Captain refused both." Lex briefly recounted what had happened on the Black Death.
Danitz patted his chest and said, "Good thing you guys are alright; we were really worried over here."
Lex patted his shoulder and said, "The Captain will be fine, because I'm here."
Danitz's sallow eyebrows twitched, then he cursed, "Bullshit!"
Black Death.
In the Captain's Cabin, Mithor and several other great pirates stood with their hands down, not daring to look up at the extremely alluring figure behind the desk.
"Heh heh, Edwina is truly shrewd, leaving me no opportunities."
"It seems the Golden Dream didn't suffer too much loss in the conflict with Senor, actually managing to breakthrough the Blood Admiral's encirclement. Edwina's strength needs to be re-evaluated."
"Hmm, not even interested in the blasphemy card. Is she genuinely afraid of inviting trouble, or does she currently have other Treasure Trove to pursue?"
Tracy extended her hand, and the blonde maid behind her handed over a glass of red wine. The Vice Admiral of Ailment took it and took a small sip.
A drop of crimson liquid emerged from between her lips, and before it could fall, it was drawn back in by the tip of her pink tongue.
This action made several of the great pirates breathe heavily, their heart rates accelerating.
Tracy leaned forward slightly, her voice soft and magnetic: "Am I beautiful?"
Mithor's Adam's apple bobbed up and down. He restrained the urge to pounce and savagely ravage the girl, but couldn't utter a single word, only panting like an ox, nodding repeatedly.
The other pirates were largely the same, but unexpectedly, Tracy's eyes turned cold, and she said with some disappointment, "How uninteresting. You may leave."
"Yes!"
The great pirates all puffed out their chests, responded loudly, and then left one by one.
Tracy leaned back in her chair and whispered, "My charm hasn't diminished, so why was Edwina's crew member completely unaffected?"
"No, for a split second, he was indeed captivated by me, but he 'woke up' very quickly."
"What was his name again?"
Sunday.
After bidding farewell to the Black Death, the Golden Dream sailed smoothly and quietly for the next two days.
At this speed, it might not take many days to reach the Sonia Sea.
Lex simply washed up, changed his clothes, and went to the pirate mess hall.
Inside the mess hall, Danitz had already arrived. He was sitting with Iron Skin and Barrel, eating breakfast in a passive, spiritless state.
It wasn't just Danitz; Lex noticed that almost all the other pirates in the mess hall were in this state.
This was very strange. These guys were usually very noisy, no matter the time.
They could even start a fight during a meal over a word or two, and those nearby wouldn't try to break it up; on the contrary, they would seize the opportunity to place bets.
However, today, the mess hall was eerily quiet, and the pirates were all listless, silently eating their food.
Lex took some bread and yogurt, then grabbed some sausages, and sat next to Danitz.
"Are you guys sick?" Lex looked at them curiously, then put the sausage in the bread, spread yogurt on it, and ate it like a hot dog.
Danitz looked at him and chuckled, "Speaking of which, you haven't experienced it yet, have you?"
"Experienced what?" Lex focused on finishing his breakfast.
"Class."
"Every Sunday, as long as nothing unexpected happens, the Captain gives us a class," Danitz said with a smile on his lips, but his expression looked as if he was about to cry.
