Thor naturally couldn't answer Shen He's question.
He only cared about one thing, "You said there was a way for me to regain my divine power."
Shen He stared at the handsome, golden-haired muscular man until he felt uneasy.
"There is indeed a way. Ryougi Shiki can help you break Odin's seal, and it would be very easy—but I can't do that."
"Why!?" Thor stood up, his expression agitated, "I need to stop this war! This is my fault! Help me, please!"
"Is that so? Then can you tell me, if you regain your divine power, how will you stop it?" Shen He merely asked calmly.
"I—"
Thor got stuck after just one word.
How would he stop it? By leading Asgard to win the war?
"I see no potential for a king in you. You are arrogant, you are reckless, and you are dangerous. You are simply not ready to become the King of the Gods, nor do you understand the crises you will face after Odin's death. Thor, I cannot let you, as you are now, become king, because you will only make things worse."
When Shen He said these words, his tone was very calm, extremely calm.
So calm that it didn't sound like a reprimand, but merely a statement of fact.
"Then what exactly should I do?"
Thor slowly sat back in his chair. He had never felt such regret and powerlessness before.
It wasn't until he learned of his father's death that he realized he wasn't prepared to bear everything; his former self was like a child basking in his father's protection, smug and self-satisfied.
"Thor."
Jane gently stroked her lover's chest, her heart aching to see the nearly two-meter-tall man with slightly reddened eyes.
"Mr. Shen." Coulson couldn't help but interject, "If this war breaks out on Earth, do we have the ability to protect ourselves?"
"Yes." Shen He nodded with certainty, "Earth is no longer the Earth of thousands of years ago, not to mention that the main force on the battlefield will be Asgard. But that means nothing. How many people died globally during the Second World War? This war will only kill more, and even if we win in the end, more enemies will come one after another. Billions of innocent people will sacrifice their lives for nothing."
"My God." Even Coulson could only murmur at this moment, "All of this is just because of a reckless prince."
"He already knows he was wrong." Jane couldn't help but shout back.
"Tell that to the innocent people who are about to sacrifice their lives." Shen He walked up to Thor, "Things haven't reached their worst point yet, Thor. I only ask one thing: are you willing to give everything, perhaps even your life, for your mistakes, for the billions of people on this Planet?"
"If my life can save everything, then please take it!" Thor suddenly looked up.
"I hope you're not just saying that." Shen He finally stated the main purpose of his visit today, "I will not directly help you break Odin's seal, but I will help you prepare to become king. You must rely on yourself to gain Odin's recognition and break the seal. For this, I need you to listen to me."
Thor transformed from the mischievous troublemaker he was then into the hero who later almost turned the tide, having experienced heartbreak, the death of his mother, the death of his father, the destruction of his homeland, the death of his brother, and the death of his friends, until he was all alone.
But Shen He intended to try and accelerate this process, shortening his growth period.
There was no better time to train Thor, who was now an ordinary person, than the present.
Thor instantly became overjoyed, "I promise you, whatever it is, I will do it."
"Very good. S.H.I.E.L.D. will also help. Our time is very tight." Shen He clapped his hands, then pulled out his phone and made a call to Tony, "Hey, Tony, I remember you've been investigating Terrorists in the Middle East. There's something I'd like your help with."
Shen He attached great importance to this project, named the "Thor Baby Special Training" plan, and even did a lot of work for it.
He wasn't sure how long Thor and his new girlfriend had been together before the Destroyer arrived, but time was very tight.
So, they arrived in the most chaotic region of the World that afternoon.
Terrorists, extremists, gangs, government rebels.
This was a World for lawless individuals.
"My friend Tony has been dedicated to combating these Terrorists who massacre civilians, even suffering several attacks for it." Shen He tried to clear the sand from his hair, then looked at Tony, who was dressed in military attire, "I asked him for a job, a job for you, Thor. I'll ask one last time, do you have experience on the battlefield?"
"Of course!" Thor seemed eager to try, "I am Asgard's strongest warrior. It would be even better if you could give me a hammer as a weapon."
"Remember what I said, your goal is to protect these civilians. Use your brain, let me see if you have the wisdom to be king." Shen He finished this last sentence, then waved to him and turned to get into a disguised truck.
"Well, good luck, goodbye."
The truck drove away without looking back.
Inside were Violet, Ryougi Shiki, and Coulson.
"Mr. Shen, are we really going to do this?" Coulson was still a little worried, "This time, a fully armed group of Terrorists is coming, even with heavy weapons. Thor can't possibly win."
If something happened to Thor because of their actions, then Earth might have to face a combined attack from the Frost Giants and Asgard.
"Relax, Qi Mu is here." Shen He shrugged, "Plus the special forces you deployed, nothing will go wrong."
The Thor of the past was accustomed to being invincible on the battlefield. He immensely enjoyed and pursued the taste of victory, even completely forgetting that the purpose of war was originally to protect the people. Compared to the original story where he willingly sacrificed himself to protect his girlfriend, Shen He wanted to see how he would act when faced with unfamiliar civilians he couldn't protect.
And he had also lost the hammer that gave him confidence.
Thor, holding the hammer, was merely the "God of Hammers." Only when he lost the hammer could he realize that Thor's power did not come from the hammer.
"I'll still go to the front line myself and see."
Coulson was not as relaxed as Shen He, and he ultimately decided to go back and keep an eye on things.
So, only Shen He and the two girls were left in the truck. He let out a long breath and rubbed his face, allowing himself to relax.
"You are very impressive."
The well-shaped thin lips suddenly spoke softly.
"What do you mean?"
"In every sense, especially when it comes to deception." Ryougi Shiki's eyebrows furrowed, "You have your goals, but I hate deception."
"Ryougi Shiki." Shen He showed a helpless smile, "They are not like you. I don't deceive you because I can directly tell you what I want to say and what I want to do. But for them, if I don't do it this way, I can't change anything. I can't just stand by and do nothing when I know a disaster is coming."
"You always have endless reasons." Ryougi Shiki impatiently turned her face away, but after a while, she turned back, "Shen He, I don't want to be deceived."
