Chapter 92 - Sea Wyvern: What Kind of “Forest Bullying” Is This?!

The Sea Wyvern was dragged—quite literally—into the forest behind them.

Bai Chen immediately followed with the Smith in tow.

The Sea Wyvern, known as the Ocean's Overlord, also had another less flattering nickname — "Land Fish."

Its combat power on land was barely half of what it could muster at sea.

"You might rule the ocean," Bai Chen muttered, "but let's see how you fare on my turf!"

He had deliberately set the battlefield three kilometers inland, right where he'd already dug a massive pit trap.

The Rock wyvern charged ahead, dragging the Sea Wyvern's enormous bulk along the rough ground.

As the pit drew near, the Rock wyvern's wings snapped open with a thunderous whump!.

He wasn't a great flyer — too heavy, too massive — but even a short burst of flight was enough.

He barely cleared the trap's edge.

The Sea Wyvern, however, had no such luxury.

With a deafening crash, it plunged straight into the pit.

Just before the pull could drag his Rock wyvern down with it, Bai Chen recalled him into his capture ball in one smooth motion.

"Now!"

Bai Chen shouted.

From above, the Nergigante shoved a boulder the size of a small house off the cliffside.

The falling rock hit the pit with an earth-shaking boom.

The impact echoed through the forest, followed by the Sea Wyvern's pained roar.

Any normal creature — hell, even most Pokémon — would've been crushed to death.

But monsters were a different breed.

Their bodies were built like armor — muscle layered with scale as hard as tempered steel.

Even that hit only left the Sea Wyvern seriously injured, not slain.

Its long blue tail twitched, muscles coiling — and with a violent swing, it hurled the boulder right back out of the pit.

The monster tried to rear up, to break free—

—but a black shadow fell across the sky.

Thunder crackled.

Lightning tore through the air.

"Lightning Palm!"

The Zinogre had already entered Supercharged Mode. His body pulsed with stormlight, arcs of lightning dancing over every scale.

The strike came down like a hammer.

BOOM!

The Sea Wyvern's head was smashed back into the ground.

Before it could react, Nergigante followed — descending from the cliff like a meteor, her right arm swelling with condensed energy.

"Raaaghhh—!"

Serious Nergi Smash!

Her blow drove the Sea Wyvern back into the pit.

"Rock wyvern, your turn! Use Flame Cannon!"

The Rock wyvern erupted from its capsule again, chest expanding with molten heat.

A lance of white-orange plasma tore from his maw and pierced into the pit.

This time, no misfire — the shot was perfect.

The blast seared through the Sea Wyvern's scales, leaving deep, smoking wounds.

"Don't give him time to recover!" Bai Chen barked. "Keep pushing!"

He snapped the Fighting Z-Ring on his wrist. Energy surged up his arm.

"Let's finish this, Nergigante — All-Out Pummeling!"

Their movements synced — Bai Chen and Nergigante striking the same pose, their combined aura flaring like a small sun.

The Z-energy condensed, and she unleashed it — a barrage of blows that cratered the ground.

The Sea Wyvern roared, trapped and helpless, every strike landing clean.

"Again!" Bai Chen roared.

Another wave of Z-energy answered his call.

"All-Out Pummeling!"

A second storm of fists fell.

The entire forest trembled.

Finally, the pit exploded with a burst of blinding lightning.

The Sea Wyvern's counterattack surged upward, thunder roaring through the canopy.

Even Nergigante had to pull back to avoid the blast.

Zinogre, however, met it head-on — his own lightning clashing against the Sea Wyvern's in a burst of blinding white.

But the Sea Wyvern's massive tail swept through the storm, smashing Zinogre aside like a toy.

He skidded across the ground, gouging a deep trench in the dirt.

The Sea Wyvern hauled itself out of the pit at last, scales cracked, eyes blazing crimson with rage.

Bai Chen unstrapped the Shield from his back.

"So much for the easy phase… Guess it's time to brawl for real."

He gave a calm order — only four words:

"Fight with full power."

Whoom—!

Bai Chen, Nergigante, Zinogre, and even Basarios flared with their Apex Auras.

Ancient draconic energy radiated from their bodies, bending the air itself.

The Sea Wyvern froze mid-roar.

Its instincts screamed — ancient power… four of them?!

Four ancient dragons?

What kind of new "forest bullying" is this?!

Even the Wyvernians watching from afar were trembling.

"We… we must be dreaming," one whispered. "That little Rock Dragon — he's exuding ancient-dragon vitality!"

Bai Chen didn't let them gawk for long.

A sphere of green energy formed in his palm — Nature's Power condensed into a single strike.

He hurled it.

The blast erupted against the Sea Wyvern's scales, the explosion marking the start of the second phase.

Zinogre charged first — his supercharged form glowing brighter, lightning crawling across his body as he grew to nearly twenty-six meters in height, matching the Sea Wyvern blow for blow.

Nergigante followed, slamming down with another bone-cracking punch.

Their coordination wasn't perfect, but it was fierce enough to keep the Sea Wyvern off-balance.

The Smith supported from the rear, her Wide-Eyes and Delay abilities suppressing the Sea Dragon's movements and accuracy.

As for Bai Chen—

Small body, immense power.

He darted in, planted a kick across the Sea Dragon's snout, then snapped his fingers — vines burst from the ground, coiling around its fins to hold it still.

And the Rock Dragon?

He stood guard behind the team — waiting for any escape attempt, slamming his full weight into the Sea Wyvern with Heavy Impact whenever it tried to flee.

The battle raged for over ten minutes.

Even with every advantage, even with perfect preparation, the Sea Wyvern's vitality was monstrous.

But finally—

Nergigante's final Serious Smash struck true, driving the beast's head into the earth.

Bai Chen didn't hesitate — he hurled a Monster ball straight into its open maw.

The ball pulsed once. Twice.

Click.

"Haah…" Bai Chen exhaled deeply, wiping sweat from his brow.

"Even a so-called 'land fish' takes this much effort. Good thing we didn't pick a fight with the Rathalos."

He glanced at the shattered battlefield — lightning-scorched trees, molten craters, and the faint shimmer of lingering Z-energy.

At last, it was done.
