Kael busted out laughing," of course I refused. They threw me away so fast and now they came crawling back because they need a free worker. I've stayed with them long enough to know they are a selfish bunch and I know they aren't genuine. "
Alaric breathed a sigh of relief.
" I was worried there for a moment, " he said.
" No, I'm here to stay, " kael said then added," I'm going for my rounds, " he pointed outside.
Alaric nodded and waved him off.
Since it was only in the afternoon, he decided to go to the awakeners employee temp so that he could see if there was anyone looking for work.
He didn't want those very desparate. Kael had been an exception.
He turned around and left calling for a cab. Five minutes later the cab pulled up at the mansion gate and he left.
He had not told anybody of his leaving since he would be gone for just three hours before he came back.
