Princess Elizabeth was ecstatic as she would finally be free from political pressure today, and she and her father, King George, would both feel much less stressed.
Her father had invited so many royal guests from across the kingdoms of the Blue Empire making it a grand event in the process. It was justifiable to celebrate a little because the duo of father and daughter had gone through a lot of trouble to see this day.
Initially Princess Elizabeth had accepted her fate to become one of the concubines of Prince Dominic but her father King George could not see his daughter like this after all she was his most prized possession and he would never hand her over to scoundrel like the Prince of Golden Rock kingdom.
So it was his plan to let her daughter rebel and leave the mansion to find a life partner for herself. Though her daughter had to suffer a bit and work in different professions all this peirod however she got what she wanted. And due to his encouragement Elizabeth was not only able to find a suitable partner but Alex was also a talented individual. He had reached the initial stage of Yellow realm in just a few days of awakening.
Alex had also mitigated the problem of Spirit stones which the Black Rock Kingdom was lacking which resolved a huge threat which the Black Rock Kingdom was facing at the moment. This also proved his ability.
Elizabeth was in her room and the palace maids were doing her makeup getting her ready for the engagement ceremony just then there was a knock on the door as one of the maids informed that the King George had arrived to meet Princess Elizabeth.
All the maids left the room leaving King George and Princess alone. Elizabeth got up and greeted her father and hugged him as her father said "You are going to get engaged today, Elizabeth. An extra member will be added to your family. From this point on, you should take care of your life partner in addition to yourself. You ought to make an effort to get along with him. Even if you might not always be happy with certain things, you should still be understanding and allow him some space. Alex is a wonderful man, and no one else can love you as much as he does, so never let him leave, okay? I've already made my judgement."
Elizabeth said "Yes father. I will keep this in mind."
After speaking his mind King George left the room since it was already time for the engagement ceremony and the Guests had started arriving so he had to visit the throne room and greet the various Generals, and Royalties of different kingdoms.
The whole palace was decorated exquisitely and there was an arrangement of food in the palace for millions of people who were just royalties. Apart from that the whole of Black Rock City people will get free luxury food and wine for all day and night.
The young generation, who were the princess's age, were all envious because the girl they had always dreamed of having one day would be taken by someone else, but the people of Black Rock City were all celebrating because it was their beloved Princess Elizabeth's engagement ceremony. Since Alex was the one who had stolen their ideal female, he had also turned into the main source of their curses.
King George was seated on this golden throne in the throne room. Today the throne room was decorated with extra vigour as it was shining and had an excellent charm to it. Every now and then there were announcement of the arrival of some ministers of some far away Kingdom or a General of a country or a Prince of a sacred land.
Amidst the announcement and the arrival of the guest from various kingdoms there was another annoucement which attracted the attention of all the priviledged guests as well as the royalties present.
"Citizens, Soldiers, and Nobles of the Black Rock City Kingdom!
Make way for the Shield of the Blue Empire. Please welcome General Marcus of the Blue Empire."
One of the members of the Blue Empire army, General Marcus was a very strong individual. This area, which includes Black Rock City and the adjacent kingdoms, was under his authority. This continent was home to many kingdoms, including the Blue Empire. They will simply battle and destroy one another in the absence of the Blue Empire's supervision. There will be mayhem.
But due to the presence of the Blue Empire they are stopped from attacking and invading each other. The rules like the companies will have their own work setup and will not be taken over by their respective kingdoms were setup by the Blue Empire. Yes the company has to follow the rules and regulations of the particular state in which they are operating but they cannot be taken over by the particular Government without proper agreement and procedure.
King George rose from his throne and came to the door of the Royal Palace to greet General Marcus since his status and authority were far greater than those of these tiny kingdoms. King George said "General Marcus, welcome to the Kingdom of Black Rock City. Having you here has been a pleasure. Come on over and sit down."
General Marcus nodded his head and smiled at King George as he went and took the seat beside the King's throne. He was very arrogant he felt that these kings of such a tiny Kingdom did not have the qualifications to host him however he had to visit them due to the formalities on these occasions.
After the arrival of General Marcus the groom also arrived. Alex was escorted by the Palace Guards to his designated seat in the throne room.
General Marcus had a high level cultivation so naturally he can observe and know the realms of his juniors who were below him in terms of cultivation. So he observed Alex and a look of surprise flashed across his eyes to find the cultivation realm of Alex.
He was aware of the news that Alex who was an ordinary man in the Black Rock City was also the groom who has awakened as a cultivator just 15 days ago but now when he saw him he found that Alex had already broken through to the Completion Stage of the Yellow Realm. This was a monstrous talent.
