In my younger years, when one threw a party, some of the closest people to that person that threw the party, would hang around after, or even the next day to help pick up a little. Seems that much of the old social norms that people would live by have gone away. I guess that is why the world seems to be sinking to a level that even a demonic being, such as myself, could tolerate. Maybe in this time I should be saying "SELF IDENTIFIED DEMONIC PERSON" or some nonsense like that. What a bunch of emotional conditioning. Funny thing that I always hear about social conditioning, but this new talk I hear is no different, only new. ANYWAY, I digress.
This place. It is nothing more than the condition it has been left in. They all seem to think that any of them can just show up on any given night and have all the food and drink they want or need, and nobody has to stay behind and take care of the mess. I bet they never even think about it. Let me count… 46, 47, 49… There are over 50 bodies just everywhere, all over my place, and maybe 10 of them left. Let's see who will stay behind and dispose of all the bodies.

Anyhow. Kara is the cute blonde that manages our little business front. A business I began a number of years ago to get around the trouble of body disposal.
It gets to be such a problem putting bodies in the ground. I tried foundations of new buildings, I put bodies above graves, I even snuck some into city morgues, but that has gotten hard now days.
Kara is always so loyal and driven. I really got lucky finding her. She was in her last semester of collage and fatally nonsocial. Very strange for a girl as cute as her. I assume it was because she didn't really bloom until a year before I found her, and by then she had fallen into a cat lady life long before she should have. I woke up the dirty spirit she had inside. There is a good chance that I could have gotten her to climb aboard without turning her. However, the human side, there would always be that little rat in the back of her mind thinking this may not be ethical or something. I may have been a little manipulative to turn her just to keep her 100% loyal. If THAT is the problem you have and not the killing her and making her a killer all her own, YOU are the one with issues that need addressing, not me.
She is most likely asleep upstairs with a few of the other girls, as per usual. Her, Jade, and Sonya have gotten close over the past couple years. Jade is nice enough but Sonya. I have no idea what Kara sees in her. She is about 6 and a half feet tall. She has brown hair. Eyes too close together and couldn't tie her shoes without a book for dummies to help her and someone to help her read it. Jade, her name suits her for sure. She is about 5 foot flat, light Carmel skin and red curly hair with freckles. You can feel the energy shift when she walks into a room. Kara sired both, and they are fiercely loyal to her, and in turn me as well, as I am their dark grandfather. They also work under Kara at STRAGULARIUM. Our little building, turned mansion, turned 2 small business plus a home is at the intersection of 3 streets. The streets happen to be laid out in such a way that one business is on one street, one on another, and our home is kinds just hidden on the 3rd street. Right on the edge of the inner commercial zone.
The home part breaks some zone laws, but nobody has ever given us any pushback over it. It is mostly underground and shielded from the commerce above. Jade takes care of security for all of it, and she has zero flexibility. You cross this one and the likelihood of survival drops to zero. She is cold, smart, and keeps everything in her like in a separate place in her mind. Sonya just pushes drinks at the club. She is very friendly, very strange for a vampire, but she was a self-centered bitch who was a total sociopath as a human. She killed her parents off at 12, and I think she ate at least one of them. Now she is like a brainless little flower. Strange how the change affects everyone uniquely.
Then we have Chad. He is a good guy. He is the last one that rounds out the family that lives with us anyway. Chad bounces for the club and does various odd jobs that need doing. He is polite when he has to be and vicious when that is called for, we just have nothing in common. Aside from the draining blood thing. We talk but never connect. We are more like coworkers than friends or family. His sire is Jade. He is the only Vampire that does not seem to have a sex drive at all. He seems to be driven by loyalty and purpose of job. Chad sleeps separate, eats separate, never comes out for parties. Nice guy, I just have no idea where his head is at.
Kara is normally the first one awake after me so she should be down the stairs in a few. I just hope that she didn't drink too many drunks. For us, blood is a lot like breast milk for babies. We are effected, if only temporary, by whatever our victim consumed in the last day or 2. Kara and Jade never had any trouble getting people over to the house after the club shuts down. They can both, on their own, get any man that has the misfortune of crossing their field of view. They also have little trouble getting women. Jade more than Kara, but I have never seen one person walk away from either. And when they start with each other…
