Chapter 3 - Earnest Persuasion

Behind the two, a group of people in black suits and sunglasses were quietly emerging.

With Saiki Kusuo's abilities, he should have teleported away before they even reached the rooftop, but now he wasn't a max-level master, but a level-one beginner.

So, even the range of his telepathy was greatly reduced.

However, Saiki Kusuo didn't dislike his weakened abilities, because it meant quiet.

"This is normal, after all, he just used his abilities directly on the street," Shen He said, not surprised at all. He looked at Saiki Kusuo, "What do we do now?"

"You decide."

Shen He was a bit startled after hearing this, but he quickly understood.

Qi Shen was just afraid of trouble.

He pondered for a moment and asked, "Do they have any intention to attack?"

"They are waiting for someone, an Agent named Coulson," Saiki Kusuo's voice usually appeared directly in one's mind.

Well, Coulson, one of the starter village chiefs for those who transmigrate to the Marvel Universe.

According to incomplete statistics, Coulson, Tony, and Parker, these three cover nearly eighty percent of the first encounter characters in Marvel beginner storylines.

Shen He hesitated. Under normal circumstances, getting involved with S.H.I.E.L.D. on the first day of transmigration was not wise. But as an undocumented person, he didn't think he could evade S.H.I.E.L.D.'s tracking, unless he ran into some remote mountain forest, which would be purely asking for trouble.

"Then let's just wait. I don't have an identity here. Although I have money, it's troublesome to even stay in a hotel."

Shen He finally stated that there was nothing wrong with the starter village chief.

Moreover, the current S.H.I.E.L.D. has almost no supernatural powers. Although it is very impressive and high-ranking among ordinary people, with Qi Shen by his side, there's no need to be too cowardly.

Coulson was indeed on his way.

His mood wasn't very good, because he originally thought that a certain billionaire who liked to fly around in armor, plus the green hulk created by the Army, was already troublesome enough.

Now there were two more special individuals openly using their abilities on the street.

"Officer, we might have been discovered," a subordinate's voice came through the radio.

"I hope you're not going to tell me they've already 'poof' and disappeared," Coulson's tone was always relatively relaxed.

"No, they still haven't moved."

"Then you guys don't move either."

Coulson's tone suddenly lost its ease.

Being surrounded by a group of people and remaining unperturbed, there was only one possibility: absolute confidence in one's own strength.

Glancing at the red light in front of him, Coulson pressed a few buttons, and the car accelerated sharply, directly entering the emergency lane, speeding all the way. In just over ten minutes, he arrived at the building.

"Are they still up there?"

"Yes, the sniper is in position, loaded with tranquilizer darts."

"Never mind that for now, show me the information you've collected." Coulson glanced at his phone, no emails had come through.

"We haven't found any information."

"Any?" Coulson was startled.

"Yes," the subordinate nodded, "We compared it with global databases and found no traces of these two people. And we checked the street surveillance; the initial yellow-skinned Oriental person also appeared on the street suddenly. Officer, they are like aliens."

Aliens.

Ordinary people might think aliens are just unrealistic fantasies.

But as a high-ranking Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Coulson knew very well that this World had indeed discovered traces of some aliens.

For example, certain ancient ruins that are completely incomprehensible, and various mysterious events.

"What are they doing now?" Coulson and a few subordinates entered the elevator.

"They are, uh, gazing deeply into each other's eyes."

Shen He was still earnestly trying to persuade Qi Shen.

Because speaking it out was too troublesome, he directly gazed at Qi Shen with sincere eyes, and then thought in his mind.

"I know you just want to live an ordinary life, and there's nothing wrong with that, after all, what one doesn't have is the most precious. But it's hard for you to achieve, isn't it? Most of your abilities have flaws, and you can't control them very well, which brings you pain. But, perhaps I can help you?"

Shen He's biggest advantage, having watched the anime, was that he knew exactly what Saiki Kusuo wanted.

"You can help me?" Saiki Kusuo expressed disbelief.

"Of course." Shen He nodded vigorously, "Your abilities are so powerful that you have to rely on an apparatus worn on your head to suppress them to avoid bringing disaster to others. But now, your abilities have been weakened many times over. I believe that even if you remove the thing on your head now, you will still be able to control them."

Saiki Kusuo was slightly silent.

This was indeed the first time he had encountered a situation where his abilities could be perfectly suppressed to this extent.

"According to my conjecture, I can continuously strengthen your current abilities with something called a 강화석 (Reinforcement Stone)." Seeing that Qi Shen was somewhat tempted, Shen He pressed on, "And you can also continuously train and control them in this process. Imagine, if one day you could perfectly control your abilities, without being forced to hear those noisy inner voices, and without worrying about hurting others one day."

Everything Shen He said was true.

He also did not hide his inner thoughts.

He indeed needed Saiki Kusuo's power. Currently, the only part of the entire summoning system that hadn't been tried was the Dungeon Center. Just by looking at the name, he knew that battles would be inevitable.

Moreover, dog food, items, and even precious gacha stones, he presumed, could only be obtained from the Dungeon Center.

Coulson had now arrived on the rooftop.

His first glance caught sight of the two people sitting there, and just as his subordinate had said, they were indeed gazing deeply at each other in silence.

Following Agent custom, he first observed the two through micro-expressions. They appeared to have a very tacit understanding; one's eyes seemed to be anxiously conveying something, while the other's eyes showed some emotion and hesitation.

Looking around, there were several dessert box-like pieces of trash.

Recalling the street surveillance he had watched earlier, Coulson made a bold guess.

This was a couple who, due to an argument, accidentally exposed their superpowers. The pink-haired, delicate young man who liked desserts should be the submissive one, and he could even delve into deeper speculation.

"If you keep thinking nonsense, I will turn you into a female from the inside out."

Suddenly, a voice abruptly appeared in Coulson's mind.

His face instantly changed. Telepathy? Memory reading? Mind invasion? This was bad, he had too many secrets in his head.

"Alright, Saiki, don't scare him anymore." Shen He stood up, his face a little excited.

At the cost of two boxes of coffee pudding a day, Saiki Kusuo finally agreed to help him to a certain extent.
