"I know of a royal secret base," Black Bolt gestured. "We can go there first."
"No need," Shen He waved his hand. "Although we're participating in Attilan's internal struggle as allies assisting you in suppressing the rebellion, we are, after all, outsiders. Being secretive is counterproductive. Therefore, we'll go directly to the city's most conspicuous location, openly end the rebellion, and deter the rebels."
Shen He always advocated against complicating simple matters.
The Inhumans' overall strength was actually only slightly stronger than Black Bolt alone.
Therefore, openly displaying force as Black Bolt's allies would be sufficient.
Black Bolt fell silent for a moment, then finally nodded.
He sensed a decisive resolve in Shen He's words, a quality he lacked, one of the essential traits for a king.
The big dog brought Shen He, Black Bolt, and the four girls to Attilan, the Inhuman city on the moon.
This city, although built on the moon, is enveloped by a protective shield. This shield isolates the air, conceals the city, and even simulates sunlight and the sky. Coupled with gravity simulation technology on the ground, these are the foundations upon which the entire lunar city was built.
The city's area isn't large.
In Shen He's estimation, it's roughly equivalent to a county in his previous life, in China.
The population is only a few tens of thousands at most.
And the location where they appeared was on the rooftop of the central palace, the highest point in the entire city. So, naturally, their sudden appearance attracted the attention of many people.
Those who had come to attend the new king's speech hadn't yet dispersed when they discovered their old king appearing before them.
"Jarvis, open the Mecha," Shen He ordered.
The Mecha he was wearing underwent a brief transformation and then opened. Shen He stepped out of it directly.
Even taking a few steps forward, he went before Black Bolt.
"Inhumans of Attilan." Shen He's voice, amplified by Saiki Kusuko, rolled out like thunder, spreading far and wide. "We come from Chaldea. Perhaps Black Bolt hasn't revealed our existence to you, but Chaldea is an ally of Attilan on Earth. Black Bolt has been working to lead you back to Earth peacefully. And now, we come to assist in quelling the rebellion, following our agreement!"
Shen He's speech wasn't long.
But it clarified their identities, their purpose, and even Black Bolt's efforts.
After a short silence, the people below erupted.
"We want freedom!"
Someone shouted as they charged upwards.
"Protect the King!"
Someone also shouted like that, attacking the rebels around them.
But more people were running around in panic.
The scene immediately descended into chaos.
"I didn't expect you to have so many supporters..." Shen He was a little surprised.
He had originally thought that all the enemies would swarm forward, so that Saiki Kusuko could solve them all at once.
Such a chaotic battle was actually more troublesome for them.
Black Bolt didn't know what kind of expression he should use to deal with this sentence.
But looking at these supporters, he regained his confidence in being king.
"Quell the rebellion."
Black Bolt uttered these simple words into the air, and an invisible shockwave instantly whipped up a gale.
For the Inhumans of Attilan, this was the first time they had ever heard their king's voice.
Black Bolt's words confirmed what Shen He had said.
"Let's begin, then," Shen He turned and said. "There aren't many of them. First, take down and control the rebels outside, then go to the palace to find Maximus. We need to avoid any unnecessary casualties."
Three figures swiftly darted past him.
Shen He acted quickly,
and grabbed Violet, who was brandishing a large scythe, and pulled her back. "You stay here."
"..."
Violet blinked her big eyes, looking at him, not quite understanding.
"Be good. Don't attack unless an enemy comes right up to you."
Shen He gently rubbed Violet's head. If he let her charge in, there would be rivers of blood.
"...Okay."
Violet responded softly, obediently.
For her, Shen He's orders were everything.
Shen He withdrew his hand, took a long metal rod from his backpack, and also charged down from the high ground.
He couldn't just stand back and watch like an old man forever. Almost three months of dungeon battles had allowed his combat abilities to grow rapidly.
The addition of Shen He, Shiki, and Jeanne completely changed the situation on the battlefield. Although the abilities of these ability users were varied, there were almost none strong enough to pose a threat to them. Shen He simply swung his staff, quickly knocking away those who surrounded him.
Jeanne was even more decisive. She put away her spear, only using her slender hands, encased in iron armor, to fight the enemies.
She didn't make any unnecessary movements. Each time her hands touched an enemy, she easily threw them away. She moved back and forth through the constantly flying crowd as if taking a leisurely stroll, her actions decisive and effective, yet filled with a certain mercy, not causing too much harm.
In contrast, Shiki's fighting on the other side seemed much more brutal.
Thump, thump, thump.
The sound of dull impacts constantly came from Shiki's side.
The girl's slender hand wielded a long knife, only using the back of the blade to strike her opponents, her movements incredibly swift.
But all the attacks were aimed at the backs of the enemies' heads. Each time the back of the blade struck, a person would roll their eyes and quickly lose consciousness, collapsing to the ground. Some even convulsed, clearly losing all ability to move.
It seemed that this was the only method she could think of to knock out enemies without killing them.
Suddenly, a figure with a phantom-like movement rapidly approached Shen He's back. Shiki's form accelerated in an instant, but Jeanne was even faster, throwing a person directly, hitting the Inhuman who was attempting to ambush, sending him flying dozens of meters away.
Their gazes met for a moment, then they looked away as if nothing had happened.
This situation wasn't the first time. Every day in the instance was like this. Whenever Shen He participated in the battle, the two of them would subconsciously focus on his safety.
Of course, there was also Saiki Kusuko, who controlled the entire battlefield from above.
Although her eyes were closed, she was quickly identifying which of those below were enemies.
Finally, Saiki Kusuko suddenly opened her eyes and raised a hand.
"Aaaaaah!"
Hundreds of Inhumans screamed as they were flung into the air, activating their respective abilities, but utterly unable to resist the powerful force binding them. They were all slammed heavily into the open ground in front of the palace, following the direction of Saiki Kusuko's waving hand.
It was still somewhat difficult for the level 16 Saiki Kusuko to precisely control the individuals amidst the chaotic battle using telekinesis.
But the moment she made her move, it meant the battle was already over.
