In 1206 AD, the scattered Mongol tribes—once locked in endless blood feuds—were united under one man: Temüjin, who would soon be known as Genghis Khan, the Great Khan. Under his command, the Mongols became one, a single storm that would soon devour the world.
But Genghis Khan's rise was not only the story of a mortal man's ambition. It was the story of something darker. In his hunger for power, he opened the gate between the world of humanity and the realm of the gods. There, twelve forgotten gods—beings of chaos and destruction—offered him a pact. In return for his soul, they would grant him the strength to conquer the earth.
With their dark blessing, Genghis Khan unleashed war upon the world.
He crushed the Western Xia, burned the Jin Dynasty, destroyed the Qara Khitai Khanate, and brought ruin to the Princes of the Kievan Rus. Kingdom after kingdom fell to his armies. By the time of his death in 1227 AD, more than twenty-five million lives had been claimed in his name.
After his passing, his son Ögedei Khan took the throne in 1229, but the unity of the Mongols shattered. The sons of Genghis turned against each other, their father's dream of world conquest drowned in civil war. They called upon the Twelve Gods for aid—but the gods remained silent.
Then came Hülegü, known as the Dog of War.
Cunning and merciless, he saw opportunity in chaos. He sent letters to all the conquered nations—Chinese families, Turks, Russians, Koreans—promising them power if they stood with him. Many accepted. Together, they destroyed all of Hülegü's brothers and every Mongol who resisted him.
When the war ended, Hülegü crowned himself the new Great Khan, forging twenty great families—the allies who had helped him in his war. Yet even he grew weary of blood. His dream to conquer the Middle East collapsed when new empires rose in defiance: the Persians, Turks mead new empire , the Khiljis of Afghanistan in India.
Under Alauddin Khilji make new empire the Arabs of Egypt allied with Africa, and even Europe's great kingdoms—England and France—formed a new empire to stand against the eastern darkness.
The age of conquest had ended.for short time After a century of endless wars and bloodshed, the world finally fell silent — but it was the silence before the storm. In the year 1300 AD, something extraordinary happened. The newborn children began to awaken with mysterious forces within them — powers called Soul Energy. Some could command nature, others darkness, light, or even fire itself. Humanity began to study these gifts and divided their wielders into ranks: Fighters, Soldiers, Knights, Holy Knights, Sword Masters, and finally, the Lords of War — the mightiest of them all.
But this gift was not given to mankind alone. When the Soul Energy awakened, the gates of the dark realms opened once again. Creatures from ancient myths walked the earth — Goblins, Skeletons, Zombies, Vampires, Titans, Dragons, and even beings that men would soon call Gods.
The world was once again thrust into an age of chaos — an endless struggle between light and darkness, between those born with souls of power… and those who wished to devour them.
