*Chapter 8: Confusion*
Kim Sol's mind was a mess as she walked away from Lee Yun Jin. She couldn't believe what had just happened. The girl she considered a friend had just proposed to her, and she didn't know how to respond.
She thought back to their conversation, trying to recall every word, every gesture. Yun Jin had been so confident, so sure of herself. But what about her own feelings? Did she feel the same way?
As she walked, the city streets blurred together. She didn't know where she was going, she just knew she needed to get away.
Finally, she stopped in front of a small café. She went inside, ordered a coffee, and sat down at a table by the window.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket. It was Minjun. She hesitated for a moment, then answered.
"Hey," she said, trying to sound casual.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Minjun asked, his voice low and smooth.
Kim Sol sighed, "Yun Jin proposed to me."
There was a pause, then Minjun's voice came back, "And?"
Kim Sol shrugged, even though he couldn't see her, "I don't know. I don't know what to do."
Minjun's voice was calm, "You don't have to decide right now. But Sol, you need to think about what you want."
Kim Sol nodded, even though he wasn't there, "I will. Thanks, Minjun."
As she hung up, she felt a sense of clarity. She knew what she needed to do. She just didn't know if she was ready to admit it to herself
