Chapter 114 - Chapter 113

The moon over Paris hung full and silver, its light filtering through enchanted glass domes deep within the Atelier Éternité.It had been three days since Roy had successfully created the Crystalline Heart, and now, together with Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel, he was preparing for the most delicate stage yet — crafting the body that would house the soul of Rowena Ravenclaw.

The workshop had been reconfigured: vast transmutation circles overlapped across the floor, each engraved with runes so old that even time hesitated to erase them. Suspended in the center was the base frame of the vessel — a body of silver-white marble and enchanted starlight crystal, shaped with precision that bordered on divine art.

The Preparations

Nicolas stood at the base of the circle, flipping through an ancient alchemical codex."Everything depends on harmony," he said. "The vessel must be attuned not only to Rowena's magical frequency but also to your own, Roy. You are her anchor — her link to this age."

Roy nodded, adjusting his gloves. "I've already layered the Ope-Ope stabilizers around the chamber. The room's space will remain perfectly static — no energy loss."

Perenelle approached with a crystal vial glowing faint blue. "This is Aqua Vitae Aeternalis — condensed Philosopher's Essence. One drop too much and the body may crystallize. Too little, and it will collapse."

Roy took the vial carefully, eyes sharp with focus. "Then we'll aim for balance."

Perenelle smiled faintly. "That's the lesson every alchemist learns — and the one most forget."

Shaping the Vessel

Hours passed. Sparks of energy danced across the sigils as Roy worked, combining modern precision with ancient wisdom. He began by tracing Ope-Ope rings around the starlight crystal form, his movements flowing like a swordsman's kata — precise, graceful, unyielding.

Nicolas chanted old runic verses, infusing the vessel with Elemental Resonance — the harmony of earth, fire, air, and water, each bound to the crystalline lattice. The workshop pulsed with a golden rhythm.

"Now," Nicolas called out, "add the Philosopher's drop!"

Roy uncorked the vial and let a single drop fall into the core of the vessel. The effect was immediate — the marble shimmered, softening into living tissue, while the silver veins began to pulse with faint blue light.

Perenelle's eyes widened. "It's working… The Philosopher's matrix is merging with the Ope-Ope stabilization field!"

Roy gritted his teeth, focusing as the vessel began to float, suspended by invisible threads of power. The energy in the chamber built higher, so intense that even the runes on the walls began to hum. Roy's aura blazed violet as he poured his magic through the circles.

"Ope-Ope: Vital Synthesis!"

A flash of light tore through the chamber — then settled. Before them floated the completed vessel: a perfect, living form, pale and serene, with traces of enchantment glowing faintly beneath her skin — the new body of Rowena Ravenclaw.

The Calm After Creation

For a long moment, no one spoke. The vessel breathed faintly, its chest rising and falling, though no soul yet resided within.

Nicolas finally exhaled. "By the stars… you've done it. The vessel is stable — alive."

Roy lowered his hand, trembling slightly from exhaustion. "Her soul crystal will need a few hours to synchronize before we can begin the transfer during the lunar alignment."

Perenelle placed a hand on his shoulder, proud and maternal. "You've walked a path no wizard has dared in centuries, Roy. You didn't just create life — you restored it with purpose."

Roy smiled faintly. "She deserves it. Rowena gave everything for knowledge, for Hogwarts. It's time someone gave something back."

Quiet Moments in the Workshop

Later, while Nicolas recorded results, Roy sat beside the sleeping vessel. The faint hum of the crystalline heart — still stored nearby — echoed softly in the chamber.

Through their soul connection, he felt Rowena's presence stir in his mind.

"Roy… it feels strange," her voice whispered gently. "To know that I will walk again… and that you were the one who gave me this chance."

He closed his eyes, smiling softly. "You earned it, Rowena. I'm just… finishing the story you started."

"And yet, you've written your own in its pages," she said. Her tone softened. "When I return, may I tell you something I've long kept hidden?"

Roy chuckled quietly. "If it's about how you always pretended not to be impressed by my rune circles, then sure."

She laughed softly — the sound like wind through crystal bells.

"No, Roy Valvas. It's something far more personal."

The Promise

When dawn broke, Nicolas placed his hand on Roy's shoulder as they gazed at the finished vessel, the moonlight fading into the soft glow of sunrise.

"The lunar alignment is in three nights," Nicolas said quietly. "When that time comes, we'll bind her soul to this form. You'll need to steady your heart — love and magic are inseparable, but dangerous when entwined."

Roy looked at the vessel, determination in his eyes."I'll be ready. She's waited a thousand years… I won't fail her now."

Perenelle, watching them both, smiled knowingly. "And when the moon rises, so too will something neither time nor death could silence."

As the light filled the atelier, the vessel's eyes fluttered faintly — and a single heartbeat echoed through the chamber.
