Chapter 143 - Chapter 141

The first sparks of war ignited in the dark streets of Venice.

One by one, the Flint family's smuggling ports began to burn — green and red fire licking across the water as magical explosions tore through warehouses. The news spread fast across Europe: House Rosetti had struck first, armed with uncanny strength and potions that made their warriors fight like mad beasts.

Within days, the Rosetti–Flint War consumed the underground world.

Black markets trembled.Smugglers vanished.Portkeys failed under the chaos of unlicensed curses ripping through old wards.

And from Britain to Romania, wizarding newspapers screamed the headlines:

"Continental Wizarding War Threatens Trade Stability!""Rosetti Berserkers Decimate Flint Holdings — Ministry Silent on Foreign Conflict.""Calls for Economic Sanctions Rise Amid Unchecked Magical Violence."

The Wizengamot in Panic

At the Ministry of Magic, the marble courtroom was filled with shouts.

"We must close trade routes to Italy!""Fools, half our potion imports come from Rosetti!""What if the violence spreads here—?"

At the high dais sat Cornelius Fudge, pale but trying to look composed. Behind him, under the soft light of the Wizengamot's torches, sat the three new proxies of Roy Valvas — Narcissa Black, Bela White, and Nagini — each silent, elegant, and calculating.

When the uproar reached its peak, Narcissa's voice cut through the noise like a blade.

"Gentlemen," she said softly, "panic helps no one. What Britain needs is stability — and leadership."

Dozens of heads turned. Narcissa's poise was unshakable, her silver hair glimmering in the chamber light.

"The Valvas Group," she continued, "is willing to step forward. Their muggle and wizarding trade networks already connect multiple European ports. If permitted, they can stabilize potion, broom, and wand imports under neutral contracts until this conflict resolves."

A murmur swept the chamber. The same company that had revolutionized muggle commerce now offered to keep the wizarding economy afloat.

Bela White rose next, her tone crisp and businesslike.

"Additionally, the Liyue Store will absorb affected potion distribution chains, ensuring no shortages for Britain's hospitals and schools. We can operate under Wizengamot supervision — fully legal."

Across the rows, several elder members whispered in approval. Even Griselda Marchbanks nodded faintly.

Fudge caught on instantly — the opportunity was too good to refuse.

"Yes, excellent — stabilizing measures, of course!" he announced, puffing himself up. "The Valvas and Liyue groups are shining examples of modern cooperation! This may even boost our domestic standing!"

Inwardly, Fudge smirked. If he could attach his name to the "stabilization effort," he'd appear as the minister who saved Britain's economy from continental collapse.

Exactly what Roy had predicted.

In the Shadows of Power

Hours later, the chamber emptied — only the three women remained.

Narcissa smoothed her robes and exchanged a knowing glance with Bela.

"Just as Roy planned," Bela said quietly. "Trade chaos will drive smaller houses to depend on us."

Nagini, leaning by the torchlight, gave a sly smile.

"Flint and Rosetti will bleed each other dry. By spring, their holdings will be up for auction. And guess who has gold to spare?"

Narcissa's eyes gleamed like ice. "The House of Valvas."

Bela laughed softly. "The world burns, and our phoenix rises higher."

Meanwhile in France

Far from the turmoil, the Valvas Mansion was peaceful — frost glittering on the gardens under pale moonlight.

Roy sat by the window of his study, reading the latest report projected from a magical holo parchment.Headlines, numbers, trade statistics — all arranged with perfect precision.

"Potion shortage in Italy… Flint assets seized in Switzerland… Wizengamot endorses Valvas–Liyue stabilization act…"

He smiled faintly. Every outcome was exactly as he foresaw.

Behind him, Grayfia entered quietly, placing a cup of warm tea on the table.

"The war has spread," she murmured. "But Britain praises you — though they don't even realize it."

"That's the point," Roy replied, eyes still on the glowing runes. "The best kind of power is the one no one can trace."

He turned, gazing out across the night sky.In the distance, a phoenix of violet flame shimmered faintly — a reflection of his will.

"Let the Rosettis and Flints destroy each other," he whispered. "From their ashes, I'll build a new order — one bound not by blood or politics, but by vision."

Grayfia bowed slightly. "Then the phoenix flies higher, my lord."

The Next Morning — Daily Prophet Headline

"VALVAS GROUP AND LIYUE STORE TO LEAD EUROPEAN ECONOMIC RECOVERY — FUDGE PRAISES STRATEGIC ALLIANCE."

Students at Hogwarts crowded around the paper in astonishment.Hermione read aloud, eyes wide. "Roy… this says your family's company is now coordinating half of Britain's magical trade?"

Daphne smirked. "Half? At this rate, it'll be all of it."

Roy only smiled faintly, sipping his pumpkin juice.

"Business," he said softly, "is just another form of war."
