The next day, Roy arrived at the Dursleys' house accompanied by Venelana Bael. Harry was waiting anxiously, unsure what to expect. As the door opened, Vernon Dursley froze, his eyes widening in shock at the sight of Venelana.
"Venelana… CEO of the Valvas Group? What… what are you doing here?" he stammered, struggling to maintain his usual bluster.
Venelana smiled politely, her presence commanding yet calm. "Mr. Dursley, this is Roy Valvas, the chairman of the Valvas Group," she said smoothly, gesturing toward Roy.
Both Vernon and Harry stared, stunned. Roy's calm demeanor only amplified the authority he exuded.
"Now, Mr. Dursley," Roy began, his voice firm yet measured, "I am offering you a business opportunity. Your company will supply materials to our real estate branch. If the quality of your supplies meets the standards of Valvas Group, we will place regular orders with you."
Vernon blinked, flustered, realizing that the fate of his business now hinged on this young wizard. "I… I agree! Absolutely!" he said hastily, already imagining the profits.
Roy's lips curved into a small, knowing smile. "In exchange, I have only one condition," he continued. "Treat your son, Harry, with the same dignity and respect you show your own son, Dudley—at least until Harry turns seventeen."
Vernon swallowed hard, his pride clashing with the opportunity before him, but he nodded. "Done. Agreed!"
With the deal sealed, Roy and Venelana left, leaving the Dursleys stunned but compliant.
After Roy's departure, Vernon turned to Petunia. "Clear out Dudley's toy room. Harry… he's moving in there."
For the first time in years, Harry felt a genuine change in the Dursleys' behavior. They treated him with basic respect, acknowledged his presence, and for the first time, he felt seen as a person, not just an inconvenience.
That evening, Harry sent a detailed letter to Sirius Black, explaining everything Roy had done. Sirius read it with a wide smile. "That boy," he said, shaking his head in admiration, "he's extraordinary. Harry, you're lucky to have him."
And Harry, for the first time, felt the weight of true friendship and protection, knowing that Roy Valvas was watching over him.
