[Max's Dimension]:
One of the bigger changes to Max was his dimension. Before it was psychic matter. Now, it was a very real, very physical place — A whole universe where he reigned perpetually as God.
It was a good upgrade — And one that Max was glad for.
At this moment, it's been 3 days since he's awoke and ascended. And he's been busy the whole time with a variety of objectives he intended to complete before he could actually leave to go on his magic power montage.
On the first day, after experimenting for hours, he finally invented a multiversal copying array — A magical array that allowed Max to summon a copied version of an object or thing from across the omniverse.
The second day was used to get a cacophony of resources, objects, treasures and things Max remembered reading and watching across various books, movies, shows, series and entertainment mediums his memories allowed him to — And this was AFTER re-creating/taking the Elixir of Recollection from the show "The Magicians."
There was a whole episode for that elixir — And in the books, it was even explained more on its details. But actually experiencing it was a whole other level. Max was remembering every single he'd ever seen, learned and forgotten, across both lifetimes, all at once. It was genuinely trippy and Max was nearly overwhelmed for a whole 10 minutes as his mind fully processed it all.
For perspective, it took the main characters weeks to fully acclimate and process the elixir, and even then, it nearly overwhelmed them. Meanwhile, Max did it in minutes.
He'd brag if there were anyone like him who had canon knowledge of the show to brag to.
Either way, downing that potion was a door-opener for ideas Max wouldn't have considered if he hadn't taken it.
He immediately went to work, creating a variety of biologically spawned clones from his own blood — He issued each various tasks, assignments and projects to search up on.
And by the end of the 3rd day, Max was finished with a majority of those projects.
One of them was an optimized variant of the array stated earlier, only its effects were vastly amplified. Instead of just copying and summoning objects and things, the summoned object/thing copied would scan across the entirety of the multiverse it originated from, finding its most optimized/powerful version and amplify itself to match that new version before being summoned.
The downside was it took a massive amount of power to activate — But power was something Max had in spades.
One of the things Max summoned was a Martian bio-ship — A species of living ship bio-tech from the planet of Mars from the DC universe of the series, Young Justice.
Normally, it would only answer to Martians but Max was close enough in ability to them that he was able to bond with one easily enough. It was a young, unbonded one before Max copied it, so it wasn't like M'gann's bio-ship — But after integrating various traits, runes, magicks and tech into it while using biokinesis to age it slightly, Max ensured his bio-ship was altered and upgraded to his own tastes.

'With this ship, I should be able to cross the spaces between multiverses easily and comfortably enough,' Max pondered, patting the silver, blue and black pod softly. 'I'm not sure if such spaces exist, as I've never travelled between worlds before my reincarnation nor after it, but it doesn't help not to be prepared.'
Max walked over to a table with a stack of notes and spells he was able to learn from his memories of other worlds. It was basic knowledge of the spells — Not really the more power spells or any crazy versions of them; it was just enough fill a few notebooks — Variously from tv shows, movies, series, anime, cartoons and videogames the Elixir of Recollection was able to help him remember.
He'd still need hands on training to truly master them — And he intended to visit those worlds in his journey, but, thanks to his adaptive magic capability, just knowing about them and their effects enough allow him the capability to using them.
Of course, in those notebooks were various personal theories and ideas — Branched off from their original spells, thought up by his own creative thought processes or theories from the knowledge he possessed from his own memories of various users of various spells throughout entertainment.
In essence, that stack of books and notes was as important to Max as the air he breathed.
Beside the table was another table, only this one was stacked with a retinue of artifacts — Each one was a prime version of themselves, as they came from the copied summoning array.
While some were, indeed, overpowered in their original universes, though, here, they've become materials for Max to experiment with.
He had a great many ideas and theories he wanted to test out and he intended to use these artifacts as testing materials. He wouldn't be able to test everything before he had to leave and there were more artifacts to be eventually summoned, but if there does end up being vast spaces between multiverses, then Max predicted he would have more than enough time to experiment. By the time he returned home, he predicted he should have more than enough power to challenge #1.
Still, the artifacts weren't nearly as important to current Max as what was on the next long table: Multiple labelled vials of blood, sampled from across entire worlds, and needled syringes of strange liquids.
Many of these samples were already synchronized and stabilized into an injection-ready needle — but some remained merely that — A sample of blood.
Max had been using his knowledge of Alchemy and magic to extract power and knowledge from these samples of blood. The blood themselves were copies of spilled blood collectively summoned from various beings throughout the multiverse.
If a compatible enough character bled then that blood was likely right there on that table — Or, rather, a copied/enhanced version of that blood sample, anyways. He intended to use these blood samples and bio samples to help empower his allies for the inevitable battle they'll have to undergo in his absence,
"With this," Max said, after finally optimizing the samples into alchemically synchronized samples magically infused with the knowledge of their donors at their most compatible states of being — Then placed each finished vial into needle syringes, primed and ready to be injected. "the others will be able to defend themselves properly, even in my stead… At least, I hope so. Hopefully until I return."
Max had already sent a message out to his peoples — They were to reach him within the hour. Max imagined many of them would arrive sooner rather than later — And Max wasn't let down when Kol and Kai were the first to arrive, eyeing the tables and Max with a curiosity that made Max feel amused.
'Their curiosity is adorable,' Max thought to himself. 'Like puppies... Slightly insane, murderous puppies, but puppies nonetheless.'
"You called, babe," Kol walked up behind Max, wrapping an arm around his stomach as his chest was pressed against his back. His sudden warmth caused a shiver to traverse down Max's spine. Kol began nibbling at Max's neck, teasing the junction between Max's spine and his shoulder blades, fangs extended. "You smell so good — So mouthwatering, even more so than usual. It's like you're purposely tempting me."
Max closed his eyes, leaning his head back in surrender, sighing in content as Kol smirked against his nape. A heat wall in front of Max told him that Kai presented himself in front of him, the palm of the sociopath's hand cupping Max's face.
As Kai Parker lifted Max's head, a warm breath breathed against the front of Max's neck — Something wet and warm streaked over Max's adam apple before doing the same thing to his jaw.
"You're so receptive," Kai purred against Max's face, before carving a large 'K' unto Max's cheek, the move sharp but highly arousing, causing Max to unconsciously thrust into Kai's waiting crotch as he practically moaned. "You just let me carve the first letter of my name into your flesh and the first feeling you feel is arousal? You're so crazy pants... And I love it."
Kol thrusted into the back of Max's pants, causing Max to bump into Kai, who thrusted into Max's heat, which caused Max to be pushed into Kol's awaiting thrust — And, honestly, Max typically would've let things escalate — He would.
Unfortunately, he's wasted enough time — He needed to finish empowering his allies and listing the game plan, so he can leave this place with no regrets as he pursue his training montage.
So, with difficulty, Max extracted himself from the sexy man-sandwich — much to their dismay — and made his way over to the tables.
"Kol. Kai. There's a war coming — One that will decide all of our fates," Max began. "I may end up leaving for awhile to prepare for it, but you'll need to stay behind and protect this world in my stead. I know saving others isn't your things, but I need you here, where my family is, protecting them in my stead. You will need time and training in acclimating to the powers I intend to bestow upon you today. In the process, we may not see each other for awhile. Is that ok with you?"
Kol and Kai exchanged gazes, each trading a nod. They had already agreed to protect Max, regardless of whatever threat they had to face. If they had to leave Max for a little while to better protect Max — Then that's what they'll do.
"We do," Kol said aloud.
"We agree," Kai added.
Max hummed a tune as he handed both Kol and Kai two similar, violet-liquid vials.
"Immortality elixir — Upgraded Immortality elixirs, actually," Max explained to their questioning gazes. "Now, even when your heart gets ripped out, or, in your case Kol, if you get stabbed with white oak, you won't die... Also, they will be excellent base agents for the other upgrades I plan to stabilize them inside you, they will."
GULP!
GULP!
Kai and Kol drank the vials down without pause, while Max picked up a vial containing a concoction of blood samples.
In the My Vampire System universe, there are 13 vampire families following the 13 Original Vampires of the verse. And, in said vial, there a total of 9 out of that 13 different vampiric lineages, each sample of blood derived from an Original of that verse.
The lines that were concocted into the vial were the Original line of Cain, which granted one the ability to generate invisible forcefields around the user, striking anything that enters it range. The Original line of Cha, which allows one to reverse time on a specific touched part of the body to perfectly undo wounds, almost like complete healing. Toppy's Original line, which creates blood needles can paralyze or stop specific parts of the body from functioning and Talon's line, which imbues explosive blood, combusting foes with just a touch of their blood. The Dawn line, which drastically strengthens the durability of the user's body or their weapons. The Snacker line granted telepathy, while the Fortuna line allowed for luck and probability manipulation. The Scutter line allowed one to boost energy, vitality and physical stamina while the Kilton line manipulated kinetic force and momentum during movement/attack.
All of this was included inside a single synthesized concoction — It also had the blood of a Caine from the World of Darkness universe, Dracula and Olrox from the Castlevania universe and Sekmet and Alucard from the same universe but from during Castlevania Nocturne era.
And, with all this blood was the memories on how to use these abilities granted by the blood. It was all packed into the vial concoction, ready to be injected.
That was what was in Max' left hand.
In Max's right was a glowing, almost crystalline, dark red stone that physically resembled a stylized human heart. It seemed to glow and pulse with dark crimson light, mimicking a real heartbeat — It was completely solid, hard and crystal-like in texture rather than soft flesh and it was small enough to be carried around in one hand.
It was the Red Heart from the My Vampire System series — A cosmic source of blood power further amplified by Max's Rune of Amplification.
Max had Kol unbutton his shirt, physically stopping himself from drool over the pectorials of his mate as he placed the heart over the skin above Kol's beating one and spoke one word: "EGREM!"
[Translation: "MERGE"]
Instantly, a pain shot through Kol as he gritted his teeth to it. The sky of Max's dimension turned blood red as a scream left Kol's lips. The Red Heart slowly, painfully, began sinking into Kol's chest, slowly but surely merging into Kol's true heart until his heart and the red heart was one.
The process looked incredibly painful, but Kol didn't seem to complain. The screaming was to be expected and, admittedly, Kol gritting his teeth in pure agony did something to Max that should've been inappropriate for the current circumstances. He really got aroused by the most perversive of things. If he had a therapist, Max reckoned they would either be horrified by how his mind worked, or intrigued by its whims…. He was leaning towards the first one.
Finally, after a gruelling five minutes, Kol calmed and was able to be injected with the concoction vial, which was a lot less painful to get acclimated to.
Kol would eventually pass out to fully process and get acclimated to everything. Max would take note of any changes made to the Original vampire all the while.
Next, Kai Parker.
For Kai, Max gave Kai an Original vampire serum, as well as a vial of Agatha Harkness blood combined with Anodite blood from Ben 10.
Anodites don't typically bleed. They only bleed in human form — Their true forms consists of raw mana energies. The fact that it is known that they can bleed in human form meant that it can happen, though, so that was how it was possible to summon a copied/upgraded Anodite blood.
In the end, Max snapped Kai's neck with all of that in his system, knowing that when he wakes, he'll be leagues stronger than he was before his nap.
Sebastian, Jeremy and Mason Lockwood came in next, and Max was first to empower them.
For Sebastian, Max grounded together a powdery concoction of hair, skin and bone powder from various vampires in Twilight, including hair and bone fragments from Edward Cullen, Alice Cullen, Jasper Hale, Bella Cullen, Jane, Alec, Demetri, Benjamin, Kate, Eleazar and Maggie. Telepathy from Edward, Precog from Alice, Pathokinesis from Jasper, Mental shield from Bella, Mental Pain Illusion from Jane, Sensory Depriving darkness from Alec, global tracking from Demetri, 4 elemental manipulations from Benjamin, electrokinesis from Kate, ability detection from Eleazar and Lie detection from Maggie.
Max grounded all the hair samples, bone dust and dried blood samples into a fine powder, before pouring it into a cup of Charles Xavier blood and commanded Sebastian to drink as he willed Sebastian's body to fully assimilate everything.
For Jeremy Gilbert, Max created a Hunter's mark, similar to the Mark of the five, but, instead of hostility to all vampires, it only enhanced Jeremy's already impressive abilities 10x the Hunter's Mark of the five did. He also gave Jeremy a shot containing the same enhancement Deathstroke had in DC universe.
For Mason Lockwood, Max amplified his physical might by every book/series/fanfic version of him throughout the multiverse collectively, granting him power on-par with street-tier powerhouses in Marvel like Luke Cage or Sabertooth. He also injected Mason with the fire manipulation and physical ability of Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat.
One by one, he upgraded his troops, and, when he was done, he re-entered Earth, leaving a needle and injection on Bonnie's bed with a note that said:
Inject when free. It will protect you. I'll be going away for a while, so take care. Don't die. Resurrecting you would be a hinderence.
— Your Cousin, Maximus ♡
With that sorted, Max channelled himself and placed a spell on the universe he was in specifically, hiding it from anyone with eyes to view the multiverse.
He figured the enemy may not be fooled for long, but, hopefully, the move will hide it even when the psychic curse fades, if only briefly. Every second saved is another moment Max had to return.
Max then spent another day re-forging a magical artifact — Actually, two magical artifacts into one. The Helmet of Fate and the Helmet of Chaos — Two DC Comics artifacts that shouldn't exist in the same space together, let alone as one singular artifact.
Ironically, the secret ingredient to getting them to merge was his blood. His adaptive magic blood made for the perfect binding and merging agent, and, utilizing the Rune of Amplification, Max made sure that the helmet was even more powerful than anyone could've possible comprehended, vastly more powerful than what they were when they were just separately the Helm of Fate and the Helm of Chaos.
The ending result was a silver helmet, with gold and red trims. Max decided to call the artifact the Helm of Might.
[Helm of Might Reference Image]:
Max also merged three of the most powerful wands he's ever seen on television into one. The Elder Wand from Harry Potter, the Keepers' Wand from Hogwarts Legacy and Fairy Godmother's wand from the Descendants franchise. It was mainly silver with golden etchings and embroidering and black toning.
[Max's Wand Reference Image]:
Another thing Max decided to do was create a magic staff for himself… Less create, more merge somethings into something anew. One was Maleficent's magic staff, while the other was Adult Calum's skywing staff from the Dragon Prince series. Max figured he'd make something that could enhance damage output and aerial dominance… Or just reforge something that could.
Either way, what was born was Max's Skyrend Staff.
[Max's Skyrend Staff Reference Image]:
After all that, Max figured he could do more re-forging — and possibly some original forging — later. His time on this earth was at an end… at least for now. He knew that when he returned, he would be ready for the fight of his life.
But, for now, he would retreat, gather his strength. His fight has only just begun.
And, less than 2 days later, Max would board his bio-ship after an emotional goodbye to his loved ones, enter a portal out the multiverse and vanish from view, seeking to return home only when he was strong enough to defend it.
He had no idea that this very decision would be the avalanche that rumbled down a mountain of stories from throughout the omniverse.
[Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Universe]:
Meanwhile, in a whole other multiverse, a certain Fallen Angel watches Max's every move.
He grins as Max leaves the protection of his multiverse, and says to himself: "At last, we shall finally meet, my prized Warlock."
And a mad laughter sounds throughout the pits of Hell, as demons shiver in the terror of their overlord's amusement.
