Uchel and Ocello both cleaned up in the bath. Once they were done, they came and sat at the table. I could tell that they were contrite, but I was still annoyed that they had made me worry so much.
When Cuau had told me that I could sense Uchel though the marriage mark, I realized that with just a little push I could even sense where he was. That comforted me, but I didn't have that connection with Ocello yet. Nor did I have it with Cuau. That bothered me.
Did I want to mate with Ocello? I mean, I knew I loved him, and I was grateful to him, but something was keeping me from taking that next step. But the thought of anyone else claiming him bothered me more.
Maybe it was because I was cheated on that I was so hesitant. I knew that it wasn't the same, but the shock of learning that there was another woman was devastating. All of the men knew of each other and were even encouraging the relationship, though.
