Chapter 186 - Chapter 186 Heading to the New World, the World Best Suited for Kael

Kael's way of eating—bones and all, devouring everything like a bottomless glutton—left everyone around him utterly shaken. If not for his status and position, people would have already started whispering among themselves.

"What's going on? Is Lord Kael still eating? How much has he eaten already?"

After cooking nonstop for several hours, even the Phoenix Eight Immortals were starting to feel dazed and worn out. Normally, cooking for ten-plus hours straight wouldn't tire them out—so long as they weren't serious about it.

But this time, they were cooking for Kael.

Naturally, they had gone all out with every dish. As a result, after just a few hours, the electricity stored in Ramon's body was nearly drained dry. The same went for the freezing energy inside Pei.

Left with no choice, they stopped using their abilities and switched to ordinary cooking. Even so, all of them were still completely stunned.

The food they had made—if weighed—would amount to several tons. And yet, even that wasn't enough to satisfy Kael's appetite.

Those dishes could've been piled into a small mountain. It was hard to imagine how Kael had even managed to eat it all.

At this point, the palace maids, eunuchs, and even Lan Fei Hong had gone pale. What started as shock had turned into genuine horror. Kael's appetite was simply too terrifying.

"Lan Fei Hong, tell them to take a break. Have the Imperial Kitchen staff take over and keep cooking."

Kael could tell that the quality of the Phoenix Eight Immortals' dishes had begun to drop. It wasn't because they were slacking off—it was purely because the consumption was too great, and they couldn't maintain peak output anymore.

Kael wasn't the kind of person who squeezed his subordinates dry, so he had Lan Fei Hong rotate them out. Judging by how his Food Immersion felt, he estimated he still needed to eat at least twice as much as before.

"Yes, Lord Kael. I'll go right away."

In front of Kael, Lan Fei Hong showed no trace of imperial arrogance at all and personally headed to the Imperial Kitchen.

"Lan Fei Hong? Why are you here?"

When the Phoenix Eight Immortals saw him arrive, they couldn't help asking. For a moment, they thought Kael had sent him over because the taste of their food had declined.

"Lord Kael's orders. You can rest now. The Imperial Kitchen chefs will take over."

Hearing the first half, the Phoenix Eight Immortals all let out a sigh of relief. As long as they finished the dish they were currently making, they could finally rest.

They had assumed Kael was already full.

But the second half of the sentence hit them hard.

The Imperial Kitchen taking over meant one thing—Kael wasn't full yet.

Letting them rest was simply because Kael had noticed they were exhausted.

Everyone twitched at the corner of their mouths, but there was nothing they could do. After finishing their current dishes, they handed things over and headed back to the main hall.

There, they witnessed Kael's frenzied eating with their own eyes. The sight made them all suck in a sharp breath.

This wasn't eating.

It was dumping food straight into his mouth.

What baffled them even more was that after consuming so much food, Kael's stomach showed no change at all. Not even the slightest bulge. Where did all that food go?

They had seen big eaters before. No matter how strong someone was, eating that much should make their stomach swell.

But Kael had eaten several tons of food, and his body looked exactly the same—like the food had simply vanished into thin air.

Curious as they were, no one dared to ask. They could only stand by and watch as dish after dish disappeared in front of Kael. Even the maids serving food had already been rotated through several shifts.

Finally, after eating close to fifteen tons of food, Kael stopped.

He could clearly feel it—his cells were completely saturated. Food Immersion was complete.

Looking at the amount he had eaten and the time it had taken, Kael couldn't help but feel a little helpless. The calorie content of the food here was simply too low. That was why he had needed to eat so much.

If this were high-calorie ingredients, he wouldn't have needed nearly as much to finish Food Immersion.

"All right. You can stop now. I'm full."

After watching Kael eat for more than ten hours straight, even the Phoenix Eight Immortals and Lan Fei Hong felt exhausted just from looking.

Now that he finally said he was full, everyone breathed a collective sigh of relief.

The Imperial Kitchen chefs collapsed onto the ground.

To be honest, even though there were many of them cooking together, Kael's eating speed was simply too fast. None of them dared to slack off, so they had pushed themselves to the limit.

Who could've imagined they'd be working nonstop for over ten hours?

"You're probably curious, aren't you?" Kael said with a smile, looking at the obvious curiosity in their eyes. "About where all the food I ate went."

As soon as he said that, everyone nodded. They hadn't dared to ask, but since Kael brought it up himself, of course they wanted to hear.

"You all know my strength. The terrifying destructive power I possess. And with great power comes great consumption."

"My digestive ability is extremely strong. The moment food enters my body, it's instantly digested. Nothing is left behind."

"All of it is converted directly into energy and stored inside my body."

Only then did everyone finally understand what was going on. Even so, they couldn't help marveling at Kael's terrifying digestion.

After making a few arrangements, Kael returned to the world of Food Wars. He still needed to inform the people there, and just to be safe, he extended everyone's lifespan again.

After all, the world he was heading to next was completely unknown.

Kael stayed in the Food Wars world for one month. Then, he set off for the new world.

"Brrr… so cold. Where the hell is this? How can it be this freezing?!"

The moment Kael arrived, an intense cold swept over him, accompanied by violent winds. If not for his strength, he might've been blown away on the spot.

Fortunately, Kael possessed flame abilities. Under his power, the surrounding temperature quickly returned to normal.

Only then did he realize he was standing in an endless world of ice and snow.

In the next instant, Kael spread out his senses, searching for signs of life.

Very soon, he detected several powerful life signatures—far stronger than the mutated creatures from the Cooking Master Boy world.

Curious, Kael headed straight toward the nearest cluster of life.

Before long, he saw a herd of enormous, bizarre-looking cattle.

Adult individuals were over eight meters long and more than three and a half meters tall. Each had massive horns on its head, and its entire body was ice-blue in color.

Kael had never seen such creatures in person, yet they felt strangely familiar.

Thinking carefully, he suddenly remembered where he had seen them before.

He had encountered their information in Toriko's knowledge.

These beasts were called Frozen Bison.

Their capture level wasn't particularly high—only level 11. But Frozen Bison only existed in one world.

The Toriko world.

And they only lived in one place.

Ice Hell.

"…So that means I've arrived in the Toriko world?" Kael muttered. "And I landed directly in Ice Hell?"

He was genuinely surprised. Ice Hell was an extremely important location for Toriko and the others.

This was where Toriko lost his arm. It was also where Komatsu tasted the final drop of Century Soup and gained the ability to complete it.

Before that moment, Toriko was willing to share food—but with only a single drop of Century Soup, he still chose to give it to Komatsu.

That was when Toriko truly, completely acknowledged Komatsu.

Later, after they were rescued and entered the Gourmet World, Toriko fully accepted Komatsu, and the two officially became partners.

Century Soup was an incredibly important ingredient in Ice Hell.

Although its capture level didn't look impressive, some ingredients couldn't be judged purely by capture level.

Century Soup was one of them.

Its capture level was low only because of the environment of Ice Hell.

In reality, Century Soup could even make Midora's Gourmet Cells react.

Midora and the others might not have eaten the eight ingredients of the Full Course Menu, but over hundreds of years, their Gourmet Cells had evolved to a level comparable to the Eight Kings.

Aside from those eight ingredients, there was practically nothing left on Earth that they hadn't eaten.

The fact that Century Soup could still trigger a reaction at that level spoke volumes about how powerful it was.

If it existed in the Gourmet World, its capture level would easily reach several thousand.

Realizing he had landed in Ice Hell, Kael actually felt relieved.

Without interference from Gourmet Corp, the strongest creature here was Hell Boros, with a capture level of 72. That would be troublesome for Kael to deal with right now.

However, Hell Boros should still be sealed by Knocking.

Master Jiro had once come to Ice Hell to retrieve Century Soup and had Knocking-sealed Hell Boros in the process.

According to the timeline, Hell Boros had been sealed for over a hundred years.

Kael didn't know exactly what point in time he was in, but surely it wasn't hundreds of years before the main story.

Otherwise, he'd be seriously depressed.

After all, the eight ingredients of the Full Course Menu only matured once every few hundred years. Without a complete set, Toriko's inheritance couldn't be finished.

Aside from Hell Boros, nothing else in Ice Hell posed a real threat to Kael.

Even the gatekeeper, the Tundra Dragon, had a capture level of only 55—something Kael could handle.

And even if things went badly, he didn't have to fight head-on. If he couldn't win, he could just run.

With his speed and movement techniques, he didn't believe Hell Boros could catch him.

On top of that, Kael still had his trump card.

Behemoth the Jack Elephant.

Behemoth's combat power surpassed Hell Boros entirely.

After confirming the world he was in, Kael decided to check whether Century Soup existed yet. If it did, that would be an incredible stroke of luck.

But first, he needed to capture some ingredients.

Frozen Bison fur was excellent at resisting extreme cold.

Although Kael could raise the temperature with his abilities, that would consume stamina. Since ready-made fur was right in front of him, there was no reason not to take it.

And besides, Frozen Bison meat looked pretty tasty.

Capture level 11 was terrifying in an ordinary world—but to Kael, it was nothing.

It didn't even compare to his own cell level.

Frozen Bison lived in herds. Kael planned to capture all the adult ones.

His body turned into a blur, weaving through the herd.

The Frozen Bison never sensed any danger. The next moment, their heads simply fell off.

Kael's movements made no sound at all.

This was the result of mastering Food Honor—his presence was suppressed to the absolute limit, and no power was wasted in his actions.

If combat before Food Honor was brutal and overwhelming, then combat after mastering it was pure art.

No grand spectacle.

Just results.

After killing the Frozen Bison, Kael stored them in his space. As for the calves, they fled in terror.

Kael didn't pursue them. Leaving them to continue breeding here was fine.

Soon, he fashioned a full fur outfit and used his flames to dry it.

It worked extremely well.

Even without a Lighter Suit, Kael's physique combined with the fur was enough to withstand Ice Hell's extreme cold.

He no longer needed to use his flames just to maintain his body temperature.

After dealing with the Frozen Bison, Kael headed toward the ice mountains.

At times like this, Toriko's knowledge was incredibly useful.

Every beast he encountered—its name, capture level, and habits—appeared clearly in his mind.

Even the routes through Ice Hell were familiar to him.

Getting lost wasn't a concern at all.

Now, he just wanted to see whether Century Soup existed here.

If it did, that would be incredible news.

Once he drank Century Soup, his Gourmet Cells would definitely activate.

At that point, even Hell Boros wouldn't stand a chance against him.

Of course, the odds were low.

After all, Century Soup only formed once every hundred years.
