Chapter 65 - 65

Chapter 65: Camp Relocation

"Teacher, I haven't…"

Kakashi frowned slightly, his tone filled with unwillingness. He had great confidence in his self-invented Lightning Release Ninjutsu. By utilizing the characteristics of Lightning Release Chakra to increase speed and penetration, he was certain he could break through Hyūga Kiyomi's Rotation.

Moreover, Kakashi was confident that after breaking the Rotation, he could disperse the Chidori in his hand, in which case Hyūga Kiyomi would at most suffer minor injuries and be in no danger.

"Kakashi, I've told you, you should value the strength of your teammates. And if I recall correctly, this should be a team battle, right?"

Minato Namikaze said to Kakashi with a solemn expression, then gestured with his eyes towards Hyuga Mirai and Kurenai Yuhi in the tree.

Kakashi followed Minato Namikaze's gaze and saw that Kurenai Yuhi's hands had not yet released the hand signs, and Hyuga Mirai had also gestured to him with the Kunai Exploding Tag in his hand.

Seeing this, Kakashi couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat. He had unconsciously overlooked the presence of the other two just now. If he had continued, Kurenai Yuhi would have first interfered with his Chakra flow with Genjutsu, and then he would have been hit by an Exploding Tag… he would definitely have been seriously injured.

"Do you understand, Kakashi? You lost very thoroughly this time!"

Minato Namikaze had seen Kurenai Yuhi's actions, which was why he decided to stop Kakashi. Otherwise, on his first day on the front lines, his subordinates would have to enter the Medical Camp.

"I… I understand, Teacher."

Kakashi lowered his head and dispersed the Chidori in his hand.

Hyūga Kiyomi was unwilling about Minato Namikaze's sudden interruption. Just as she was about to say something, Hyuga Mirai and Kurenai Yuhi jumped down from the tree.

"Kiyomi, let's end it. We are at the front line camp now, so this is the best outcome."

Hearing Hyuga Mirai say this, Hyūga Kiyomi slowly exhaled and also put away her Gentle Fist stance.

"Thank you for stopping us, Jonin Minato, otherwise Hyūga Kiyomi might have been injured."

Minato Namikaze saw this, quickly scratched his head and laughed, "Not at all. If I hadn't intervened, Kakashi would definitely have been the one injured. Mirai-kun's team's cooperation and understanding are what my students need to learn."

At this moment, Minato Namikaze's Shadow Clone also woke up Obito and brought him back from the bushes.

After Obito returned, he immediately clenched his fists and shouted, "Damn it, Kurenai, you ambushed me! Let's do it again, I will never…"

"Obito!"

Minato Namikaze pressed down on Obito's head, a little angry. He had already lost disgracefully; if he still refused to admit defeat, he would be losing both face and the battle.

"Teacher Minato…"

Obito forced his head up, but what he saw was Minato Namikaze's serious expression, so he had no choice but to lower his head and say in a low voice, "We lost."

"There's no need to be so serious, Jonin Minato. It was just a spar between classmates. Our team also learned a lot from your class, and the gains were not small."

Hyuga Mirai waved his hand politely and laughed. Then, after Kurenai Yuhi released Rin Nohara's Genjutsu, he spoke to bid farewell.

"Then let's stop here today. I still have a mission, so I'll leave first."

After Hyuga Mirai greeted everyone present, he, Kurenai Yuhi, and Hyūga Kiyomi walked together towards the camp.

As they were leaving, they ran into Kaminari Kaede, who had jumped down from a tree. However, Kaminari Kaede maintained his usual aloofness, merely saying, "Well done, you've grown a lot," before leaving directly with Body Flicker Technique.

"It's been a long time since I've seen Captain Kaminari leave with Body Flicker Technique. Seeing it today, it's quite nostalgic," Kurenai Yuhi said with a light laugh.

Hyuga Mirai also chimed in, "It is a bit nostalgic…"

'He truly is an excellent companion, his words always considering the other person.'

After Hyuga Mirai had walked far away, Minato Namikaze was still thinking about what had just happened. He then looked at Kakashi, Obito, and Rin Nohara, who had gathered around, and decided in his heart that he would train their teamwork well from now on. Not to say their coordination could rival Hyuga Mirai's team, but at least not to fight individually like today.

......

"Kiyomi, don't be stubborn next time. You knew just now that Rotation couldn't block Kakashi's Ninjutsu, right? If you had changed your approach, you would have easily won this match."

Hyuga Mirai warned.

Kakashi's Chidori had only recently been created, and its strengths and weaknesses were very obvious. This Ninjutsu had strong sprint power, but it also gave the body a large inertia during the Sprint, which was very difficult to control.

If Hyūga Kiyomi had used Empty Palm to destroy the ground in Kakashi's path, or used Exploding Tags to block him, it would have forced Kakashi to passively dodge. At that point, it would have been Hyūga Kiyomi's turn to attack.

But Hyūga Kiyomi stubbornly chose the most foolish method: using Rotation to block it head-on.

Rotation is a perfect defense, but not the strongest defense. If the attack exceeds Rotation's defensive limit, then Hyūga Kiyomi would be the first to be injured.

Hyūga Kiyomi getting injured was nothing, but Hyuga Mirai's trouble would be big. Hyuga Sosuke was a loyal dog of the main family; once he knew this news, he would definitely come to cause him trouble.

"I understand."

Hyūga Kiyomi said indifferently, then said, "I'll go back first," and left alone.

"Kiyomi seems to be in a bad mood," Kurenai Yuhi said, tilting her head.

"She's too strong-willed. She could accept winning or a mutual defeat, but today she definitely lost."

Hyuga Mirai shook his head, saying that such a matter had wasted so much time.

"She'll be fine in a bit, Kurenai. I'll go back now."

"Okay, goodbye, Mirai-kun."

After bidding farewell to Kurenai Yuhi, Hyuga Mirai returned to the camp managing military supplies. He retrieved the memories of his Shadow Clone and checked them. In the time he had been away, only four teams had come to collect equipment.

However, currently, Konoha and Sand are still in a stalemate. Once both sides probe each other, one of them will surely be unable to resist starting a war.

Hyuga Mirai guessed that the Sand would initiate the war, even if many of their accumulated military supplies had been destroyed by Orochimaru.

Soon after, Orochimaru sent him a message via a white snake, stating that he could go out alone, but had to wait for a mission.

Upon receiving this news, Hyuga Mirai was not anxious. As long as there was an opportunity, it was fine. He was just afraid of always having people around, and using Shadow Clone was not safe.

Two days later, Orochimaru moved the entire camp into the Land of Rivers, preparing to defend against the Sand's attack outside of Konoha.

Perhaps the negotiations in the rear did not go well, or the Sand's demands were too great, such as handing over the culprit Orochimaru, ten times compensation for the Sand's losses, which could avoid war and so on.

The Sand wasn't just after resources; they also wanted to pin the responsibility for the Third Kazekage's disappearance on Konoha. Under the pretext of avenging the Third Kazekage, they could both plunder resources from Konoha and vent the Sand's dissatisfaction, which could be said to kill two birds with one stone.

Orochimaru might have also received a message from the village, which is why he was preparing for war.

However, these were good things for Hyuga Mirai. Now that he was managing military supplies, once the war started, it meant Hyuga Mirai would have a large income.
