Chapter 570 - Pikachu the Sales Streamer, Ash the Medical Streamer!

"Pika???"

Remembering Ash's promise to take him to the food street after the livestream ended, Pikachu was bursting with enthusiasm.

As soon as the stream officially began, the adorable little Pokémon settled himself in front of the camera dedicated to promoting Ash's Feebas Beauty Guide and leisurely flipped through the pages.

His innocent, cuddly appearance instantly sent the livestream audience into a frenzy.

"AHHHHH! So cute!"

"I'm in love!"

"AWSL! This is way too adorable!"

"Ash really knows what he's doing. He actually got Pikachu to host the sales stream!"

"Evil capitalist Ash! How dare he exploit such a cute Pikachu!"

"I want Pikachu to perform tricks live. Would two bottles of ketchup be enough as a donation?"

"Eeeeeee! Pikachu is too cute! I want to squish him!"

"Does Ash sleep while hugging Pikachu every night? I'm so jealous! He gets to cuddle something this adorable!"

"Hehe~? I'm more jealous of Pikachu! It gets to sleep while hugging such a cute Ash!"

"Pikachu used the move Cute Charm on the livestream audience!"

"It's super effective!"

"I never understood why Ash chose to raise a Pikachu instead of a stronger Pokémon. Now I get it. It's because Pikachu is absolutely precious!"

"..."

"..."

The beauty of the setup was that neither Ash nor Green had to lower themselves into shouting sales slogans.

There was no need for dramatic sales pitches.

No need for exaggerated advertising.

The semi-automated stream turned out to be far more effective than anyone expected.

Pikachu simply sat in front of the camera, casually flipping through the beauty guide.

Every now and then he would glance toward the lens.

Wave a tiny paw.

Flash a peace sign.

Scratch his head.

Smile foolishly.

Every unintentional display of cuteness sent the audience into another round of screaming.

Under Gary's occasional moderation and guidance, viewers continuously placed orders.

Copies of Ash's Feebas Beauty Guide sold at an astonishing rate.

Less than ten minutes into the stream:

480,000 viewers were watching.

More than 100,000 orders had already been placed.

The numbers were absolutely staggering.

Meanwhile...

The clinic livestream on the other side had already begun operating as normal.

"Ash, next patient."

"It's a Pidgeotto."

"The preliminary diagnosis from the Joy at Saffron City Pokémon Center is a fractured wing."

Standing beside the Poké Ball transfer machine, Clarissa took a Poké Ball from the receiving slot, released the Pokémon onto the examination table, and reported the diagnosis.

"A fractured wing?"

"Got it."

Ash nodded.

Looking at the Pidgeotto that had suddenly appeared in an unfamiliar environment, he immediately activated the Natural Affinity effect of his Viridian power.

The frightened Pokémon quickly calmed down.

Afterward, Ash silently issued a command to the system.

"System, scan and display Pidgeotto's data."

Ding. Scanning. Please wait...

[Pokémon: Pidgeotto]

Level: LV.21

Type: Normal / Flying

Nature: Adamant

Ability: Keen Eye

Potential: Green+ Potential

Moves (Copyable):

Proficient

Tackle

Sand Attack

Gust

Skilled

Quick Attack

Twister

Novice

Whirlwind

Ash glanced over the information.

This Pidgeotto possessed fairly good talent.

A Green+ Potential Pokémon was only a step away from the Red Potential typically seen in starter Pokémon.

Among wild Pokémon, that was already considered relatively rare.

However...

Compared to Ash's own Blue Potential Pidgeot?

Or even Fearow's Red+ Potential?

It simply wasn't enough to attract his attention.

After all, the Pokémon's talent had nothing to do with him.

If this were one of his wilderness clinics at Stone Bridge or Dashiwan Valley, he might have considered catching an especially talented wild Pokémon.

But the Pokémon arriving through the livestream clinic all belonged to other Trainers.

The only things Ash could gain from treating them were:

Increased Viridian power cultivation.

Additional moves copied into the system.

"System, copy this Pidgeotto's moves."

While healing the Pokémon's injuries with Healing Grace, Ash simultaneously instructed the system to begin skill duplication.

Ding. Skill Copying...

10%...

30%...

70%...

90%...

100%...

Pidgeotto's move pool wasn't particularly impressive.

Most of them were basic moves.

Still, Ash wasn't disappointed.

After all, even a move as simple as Tackle could generate between 200,000 and 250,000 Poké Dollars in revenue.

Many seemingly ordinary moves became incredibly valuable when certain Pokémon had difficulty learning them naturally.

"No problem."

"Your wing has been completely healed."

"I'll send you back to your Trainer now."

After finishing both the treatment and the move-copying process—and feeling another small increase in his Viridian power—Ash smiled reassuringly at Pidgeotto.

Then he nodded toward Clarissa.

Immediately understanding, Clarissa returned Pidgeotto to its Poké Ball and placed it into the transfer machine.

A moment later, the Poké Ball disappeared and was transmitted back to the Pokémon Center in Saffron City.

...

"Green."

"Add a note to the medical report."

"Although Pidgeotto's wing has fully recovered, avoid overly intense activity for the next two or three days."

"And remind the Trainer that wings are the greatest weakness of Flying-type Pokémon."

"Whether during training or battles, wing injuries should be avoided whenever possible."

"Got it."

Green nodded.

Her fingers flew across the keyboard as she rapidly typed Ash's instructions into the treatment report.

With Green assisting and everyone assigned clear responsibilities, the entire operation was running far more efficiently than usual.

Normally, the clinic handled around two hundred cases per session.

Today, the number had been deliberately increased to three hundred.

Each patient typically contributed five to ten new moves to Ash's database.

That meant a single afternoon could add anywhere from:

1,500 to 3,000 new moves.

Without question, the free livestream clinic remained the largest source of new move acquisitions for Ash's Skill Shop.

"Ash, next patient."

"It's an Arbok."

"The preliminary diagnosis from the Joy at Celadon City Pokémon Center is severe stomach perforation caused by accidentally swallowing its own Acid attack."

Clarissa opened another Poké Ball as she announced the next case.

The afternoon's work had only just begun.
